agenthal
This song gained a whole new meaning for me recently, especially the "can't get it right since I met you" line. And it's such a badass song musically, too. I'm a bit addicted atm. I've been addicted to it for like 4 years.

Minipoito
While I refuse to let you go; I can't get it right since I met you... I think that... well, it's talking about two relationships growing, and taht at some point its hard to decide if you can 'advance' in one of them because you don't want to loose the other one. I think a lot of people lived a situation like this...
FearAndPanic
I think that MOTP is the best song Muse have released (CE comes second), does anyone agree with me - the lyrics and the instruments combine to make one hell of a powerful song. Also EVERYONE knows this but Phobos and Deimos were the two Roman (?) gods for fear and panic. You know, 'fear and panic in the air'. But what's also interesting is Mars' moons are also called Phobos and Deimos. OoOooOoOoOo! matt'ssodeeplol

truthisunwinding
It's been suggested that the "loneliness be over" is a reference to the moment in a bout of touring when no matter how many people are around you, you still feel lonely. I think MotP is one of those songs that mixes a bunch of ideas together - that's what makes it so accessible.
