Boombleeb
What if they made a Greatest Hits album? (A album which includes a bands most popular songs) What tracks do you think would be on it?
Destroya
No, it will be pointless unless you want to introduce fans to older tracks. Plus it will be less likely that rarities and b-sides will be played at future tours. If anything the only compilation album they need is a selection of B-Sides post OOS era (or all of them over a couple of discs just to be super epic). Duk3 Fluk3m
No, it will be pointless unless you want to introduce fans to older tracks. Plus it will be less likely that rarities and b-sides will be played at future tours. If anything the only compilation album they need is a selection of B-Sides post OOS era (or all of them over a couple of discs just to be super epic). Not too many to choose from after OoS. You have The Groove, Eternally Missed, Fury, Crying Shame, Easily, Glorious, Assassin GOB edit, Popcorn, Prague ( do we want that one?) and Soaked. I think that is pretty much it. Now there were several B-sides that never made it to Hullabaloo such as the studio verdion of Agitated, Host, Do We Need This ( a b-side so awesome that it was a final song during the Showbiz tour) and Minimum, I would not mind having them on a disc. But an actual greatest hits album? Not too sure, would possibly be better to do a "best songs" compilation like Oasis did with Stop The Clocks, that album missed some massive hits in order to get some awesome B-sides on. I suppose they could do something like this Disc 1 1. Take a Bow 2. Interlude 3. Hysteria 4. Map of the Problematique 5. Super Massive Black Hole 6. Supremacy 7. Sunburn 8. Dead Inside 9. Uno 10. Muscle Museum 11. Mercy 12. Reapers 13. Hyper Music 14. Stockholm Syndrome 15. Psycho Disc 2 1. New Born 2. Survival 3. Panic Station 4. Bliss 5. Butterflies and Hurricanes 6. Feeling Good 7. Dead Star 8. Madness 9. Resistance 10. Aftermath 11. Plug In Baby 12. Starlight 13. Uprising 14. Knights of Cydonia
Finn.
I think the point of a Greatest Hits album will be to show mainstream audiences their greatest hits. Old fans can skip it, of course. Something like this 01. Sunburn 02. Muscle Museum 03. New Born 04. Plug in Baby 05. Feeling Good 06. Time is Running Out 07. Hysteria 08. Butterflies & Hurricanes 09. Starlight 10. Supermassive Black Hole 11. Knights of Cydonia 12. Uprising 13. Resistance 14. Madness 15. Mercy

Destroya
Or if I was to make the album, it would follow some order like this (using two singles from each album, the second disc consists of b-sides and deep cuts (there may be some controversial choices ): --DISC 1-- 1) Uno 2) New Born 3) Bliss 4) Cave 5) Survival 6) Butterflies and Hurricanes 7) Map of the Problematique 8) The Handler 9) Exogenesis Part 1 10) Reapers 11) Uprising 12) Panic Station 13) Dead Star 14) Knights of Cydonia 15) Stockholm Syndrome --DISC 2-- 1) Take a Bow 2) Futurism 3) Assassin (GOB) 4) Showbiz 5) Spiral Static 6) Crying Shame 7) The Small Print 8) Fury 9) MK Ultra 10) Animals 11) Eternally Missed 12) Hyper Chondriac Music 13) Sign O' The Times (Prince Cover) 14) Glorious 15) Citizen Erased Edited May 25, 2016 by Destroya
