bassplaya619 Posted September 21, 2015 Posted September 21, 2015 Ready to see these guys again. Only issue is whether to get GA floor or actual seats. Since they are playing in the round and it should have some great sight lines!!! I
SarahSD Posted September 21, 2015 Posted September 21, 2015 This will be my first time doing the waiting room thing. What do I need to know?
trojanchick99 Posted September 21, 2015 Posted September 21, 2015 If you are a Muse.mu member, it looks like that presale isn't on AXS. I'd go with that one over the AXS one any day.
Corkscrewed Posted September 22, 2015 Posted September 22, 2015 Yeah, I'm happy. I'm gonna try to get a pair of tickets to LA and SD.
ShaneHernandez Posted September 23, 2015 Posted September 23, 2015 I totally spaced it and wasn't registered on the main site in time, so I didn't get a presale code. :(:(
Corkscrewed Posted September 23, 2015 Posted September 23, 2015 ^ If it makes you feel better, you would have had to have been registered before they announced the show, so you didn't exactly "space" or anything... =\
SarahSD Posted September 23, 2015 Posted September 23, 2015 So a link to buy tickets will appear on this page at 10 am? http://muse.shop.ticketstoday.com/basket.aspx?Action=AddTickets&eventId=168212
bassplaya619 Posted September 23, 2015 Posted September 23, 2015 (edited) I mean really this was to go smooth, what a friggin joke!!! Edit post!!! It finally went through, sweet jesus!!!! That was stressful. Edited September 23, 2015 by bassplaya619
Corkscrewed Posted September 23, 2015 Posted September 23, 2015 I had no issues with Muse.mu presale for either LA or SD. AXS, on the other hand, was a piece of crap and failed (was trying to get more tix for friends).
bassplaya619 Posted September 23, 2015 Posted September 23, 2015 (edited) Keep hitting refresh I received every form of error code. The key is hitting refresh. Then it finally popped up! I have lodge front row ( Row 1) in the middle of the arena. I wanted seats and I got the best in my opinion. Continue to hit refresh if you have not gotten through. I used google chrome browser as well. By the way , are the only way to pick up tickets via fanclub at willcall? There was no other option as I like hard tickets Also, STUBHUB already has postings for tickets on the website? Edited September 23, 2015 by bassplaya619
bassplaya619 Posted September 23, 2015 Posted September 23, 2015 Get them while you can if you were unsuccessful before.
SarahSD Posted September 23, 2015 Posted September 23, 2015 Finally got some tickets. Thanks for telling me to use Chrome. See you there!
bassplaya619 Posted September 23, 2015 Posted September 23, 2015 Yes I could have purchased more but I was checking to see if they were sold out. Was able to get 4 Lodge 24 Front row which is the middle of the arena with no one in front of me!! I am glad you kept trying and you got through.
SarahSD Posted September 23, 2015 Posted September 23, 2015 Me too! Thanks again! That was a stressful 50 minutes!
bassplaya619 Posted September 23, 2015 Posted September 23, 2015 Do you have to pick up tickets at WillCall, I may have to take the day off just to pick up tickets because of my work schedule.
violatedbydm Posted September 23, 2015 Posted September 23, 2015 Do you have to pick up tickets at WillCall, I may have to take the day off just to pick up tickets because of my work schedule. If you have prime seats, yes. Muse likes to do that a lot of their venues to avoid scalping. When I saw them in LA on the 2nd Law tour, I had premium seats. I had to use my credit card AND show my id as I entered the venue. The tickets were then printed out at the door. Kind of sucks because I place all my tickets in an album. When I saw them in Phoenix, I didn't get an actual ticket with their name on it. It was a printed ticket that said "GA" and the date. Nothing else. :/
bassplaya619 Posted September 23, 2015 Posted September 23, 2015 So is it safe to assume that I can pick up my tickets at the box office early a.m. and come back correct?
imanabdeshahian Posted September 23, 2015 Posted September 23, 2015 why was this so hard? i only managed to get one. still going
Corkscrewed Posted September 23, 2015 Posted September 23, 2015 I've never been to this venue before. Is there anything I should know in particular, for example parking, how early to get there, non-obvious hassles? It's so weird how the same band can put on a show at two venues (comparing to Staples in this case) and have tickets that are like $15 apart. Just cuz it's SD vs LA.
violatedbydm Posted September 23, 2015 Posted September 23, 2015 So is it safe to assume that I can pick up my tickets at the box office early a.m. and come back correct? You'll have to check with the box office. A lot of box offices don't open until a few hours before a show unfortunately. I've never been to this venue before. It's so weird how the same band can put on a show at two venues (comparing to Staples in this case) and have tickets that are like $15 apart. Just cuz it's SD vs LA. LA is a huge market. Therefore; it has a huge mark up value. You also have to consider that the venue charges the band more as well. The Hollywood Bowl, from what I remember, is the most expensive venue in LA and I avoid it at all costs. The price differences are crazy. I'm going to see Florence + the Machine in Santa Barbara and 2x in SF for a little more than one upfront ticket in LA. I saw Depeche there a long time ago but had seats no GA. My daughter and I will be driving from the Oakland show the night before straight to this one. We'll stop at home, shower, eat, and be on our way to sit in line all day.

Is there anything I should know in particular, for example parking, how early to get there, non-obvious hassles? Parking is no sweat, but can be as much as $20 (usually $10). There is free street parking around if you get there early enough. I've never done GA there (always seats) so can't comment on how early to line up.
