Discoprincess32
it depends on where you live in America. In the NW we get lots of Muse love
alehartl
Radio producers aren't crazy, they just know what will get people listening. Americans aren't actually obsessed with hip-hop anymore. The new pop thing is essentially house music with catchier hooks (Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Kesha, Enrique, so on and so forth). Obviously Muse don't really fit into that mold, despite the attempt with UD, so they don't really get the airplay. To me it seems like they're the token "Oh yeah, rock music...fine here's one for you." Not to mention that obtuse political statements in lyrics aren't exactly "sexy." ArtsyChick
The radio is where I first heard them. And still do, once in a while, but I don't really feel like they get much more airtime now than that first listen 7 years ago.
JessicaSarahS
They get a LOT of radio airplay here in the SF area. I think it depends on which stations you listen to. They will get airplay on alternative/rock stations vs, Top 40/Pop. Â Check out muse s'amuse's thread in the media for a breakdown of Muse's chart stats: http://board.muse.mu/showthread.php?t=74673
