  1. Got home from Roskilde Festival today and saw this insane setlist from yesterday. Just wow. Even though it was a low capacity indoor gig with just a few lights, I just can't see any common sense in playing THAT many rarities. And I totally agree with people here questioning why on earth they haven't made a rotation slot of just ONE of these rarities on the 360 tour each night, when they clearly can and will rehearse them beforehand. Hope they take notice of the critisism and react on it in the future. A normal stadium/arena show followed by a small club show the day after sounds like a cool concept.
  2. Got Citizen in Copenhagen last week, so now I think it's like this: 1. Assassin 2. Dead Star 3. Fury 4. Micro Cuts 5. Invincible / Ruled By Secrecy
  3. Just to clear things up - when they came back after the Psycho break he said something about the pedalboard, so I guess something went wrong with that. He used the army green drone guitar both to start with and after the break. By the way, it looks so freaking cool!
  4. Home and almost rested from two brilliant nights in Copenhagen. This has reminded me in how bad shape I've actually gone to. A lot of jumping, singing, moshing and headbanging with Chris combined with the insane heath inside the venue have taken its toll. But totally worth it. Second show last night started with Matt's pedal board taking a nap halfway through Psycho, so they restarted it about 5 minutes later. Chris' bass didn't work the first third of Supermassive either. Fuck it, that's the charm of playing live. I think it's safe to say the first night was for the fans setlist-wise as it also was the first one announced. Last night was played totally safe with PiB, Map, Hysteria, Feeling Sick and Defector. A little bummed about not getting Assassin, but we tried our best and couldn't have done more without meeting them in person. They seemed to have a lot of fun on stage last night after Psycho breakdown and yeah, it being Matt's birthday. A lot of b-day signs and balloons were in the air and Matt got smashed a cake in the face, hopefully for deciding to put FG on the setlist. After Knights I went straight down to the end of the stage where the band left the arena. I had brought an Autographs Please-sign and a pen where Dom and Chris first signed it and greeted them quickly. Matt got last there covered in cake and was totally confused, so unfortunately he saw it too late. Overall two great nights with my two friends and a lot of fellow Danish fans we met in the queue and inside the volcano venue.
  5. It sounded very good, crowd reacted well to it, Matt played the solo right in front of us and the piano ending was beautiful. Can imagine MC being immense yes, but I already think songs like Psycho, Plug In Baby, Map and Stockholm are better live songs than CE.
  6. As feared, due to the low height at the Copenhagen venue, the drones were placed at the end of the runways and only six were used last night. And holy fuck, it must've been about 100 degrees in there! The smell and sight of sweat were outstanding. But, without a doubt one the best Muse gigs I've seen! It's hard to say it was the best when Plug In Baby wasn't played, so I'll put it on par with Berlin 2013. Wasn't expecting Bliss again but sounded great as always, finally got to hear Citizen (even though it did dissapoint me a little because of the fan hype), Stockholm was absolutely mega and the outro jams were insane, and I think Take a Bow sounded much better than in London. Consider myself very lucky with that set. All Danish media reviews generally agree in the stage show was one of the most impressive in the history of music, but that it sadly outdid the music and the band most of the time. They score really low on the sound, but this venue has always been criticised for its conditions to make tolerable sound. However, for once I felt the sound was very good. Everything stood clear in the sound picture and I could feel Dom's kick drum and Chris' bass. Exited going again tonight having a little hope for Assassin. I saw three groups of people in the crowd holding up signs for it and they definitely saw ours. We are also planning on singing happy birthday to Matt after Starlight.
  7. Some quick thoughts on last night's show in Hamburg (I was at lower section's seats in the middle - perfect view): Atmosphere and crowd were surprisingly good and up for it considering it was Monday. Band seemed to enjoy it smiling a lot to each other and having eye-contact with the front rows. In my opinion the sound was too muddy and unclear. Matt's vocals and guitar were good, but like in London I couldn't feel Chris' bass enough and ESPECIALLY not Dom's kick drum at all. All 12 drones and stage production worked perfectly - not a single malfunction at any point as I saw it. The dildrone was about to go down a couple of times but still kept on flying. Setlist start was very promising with Bliss (fuck, was so happy to see it again!) and Map. Unlike many people here I like Resistance a lot and it got a big crowd reaction. but then ... FEELING FUCKING GOOD, why won't you go away? Crowd needs to stop reacting so well to it, but yeah that must be why ... I love how they adjust the volume through some of the songs. Everything gets turned up in Reapers' outro, Map's outro jams, TIRO's chorus e.g. Knights was mega as always and they turned the outro so much up to 11 it almost hurt in the ears. I'm pretty sure Matt took notice of my big Assassin-For-Copenhagen sign after Knights with his body language saying "yes, I see you!". Going for barrier both tomorrow and Thursday, so hopefully it can happen.
  8. Yes, but that could mean no Plug In Baby which makes me a little sad. Still, will 100% get to hear in Copenhagen if so. Also very happy they played Feeling Good in Prague, so the chance for it tonight is minimal. Wouldn't actuallymind getting Resistance tonight - I think it's cool.
  9. So, three gigs in four nights starting tonight. Have good seats tonight in Hamburg and then hopefully barrier for the two Copenhagen gigs. Not expecting much for tonight since it's Monday and not nearly sold out. Will be bringing my Assassin-for-Copenhagen sign and hope they take notice. Chances for hearing Bliss, Citizen, Stockholm and Map should be realistic through the next days. And then hopefully Assassin or something else rare in Copenhagen too.
  10. Drones + Psycho Reapers PiB Dead Inside Interlude + Hysteria Isolated + The Handler Supermassive Prelude + Starlight Citizen Munich Jam + Madness Undisclosed JFK + Revolt ... so far apparantly So most likely no TaB and we know the rest of the songs.
  11. For me, the only opportunity was to select print at home tickets and I bought through tickets.de .
  12. I had a really good feeling finally seeing Muse in an arena last night and it being in London too just made it better. The O2 is quite a nice venue. I stood at the back of the centre part to get the best possible view of the visuals. I think they and the drones look absolutely amazing. The crowd in my area had good energy and there was some good old moshing going on many times, but I chose only to take part of it during Knights. The start with Reapers, Psycho and PiB was mega! (I think PiB should be a staple without a doubt - it has got a huge reaction every time I've seen it). After that I feel like they never reached the same energy level again despite of Map, Hysteria and of course Knights. Fucking great to finally hear Sunburn! A low factor was the sound in the general though. Most of the time I think it just sounded too flat and meh. Especially Chris was WAY too low in the mix apart from Reapers outro, Psycho, Hysteria and Uprising. Sometimes I couldn't feel it at all. Same goes for Dom's kick drum. In my opinion the bass needs to be as much in the sound picture as the guitar and I want the kick drum to pound me in the chest. This combo through a whole gig has only happened to me 3-4 times and never to a Muse gig.
  13. I'm close to jump on the Assassin hypetrain again, since it maybe was soundchecked tonight (hopefully for tomorrow). Anyway, closing down the board and Muse related stuff the next 24 hours. Wanna leave just a little to the unknown for tomorrow's gig. Been looking forward to seeing Muse in London for many years, so a little part of me says it has potential to be the best gig I've ever been to if everything goes well. But we never know with these guys ...
  14. Something like this would be my perfect setlist using their current structure, but with 20 songs instead of 17 and a few slot changes. The "rotations" are just songs I'd be okay with instead, but the first one is number one priority. It's well over two hours, but fuck that. ***Drones + Psycho Reapers Dead Inside Bliss Plug In Baby ***The 2nd Law: Isolated System The Handler Map / Hysteria Supermassive Black Hole ***Prelude Starlight Madness Ruled By Secrecy / Sunburn / S4A (Piano version) Munich Jam Assassin / Dead Star / Fury / Something else rare and nice Citizen Erased / New Born / Butterflies & Hurricanes Time Is Running Out ***JFK Uprising Mercy (confetti) The Globalist ***Drones ------------------------------- Take A Bow Stockholm (+3-4 riffs) MWAH + KOC
  15. It's called Dance of the Knights. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WUjetMqe4ow
