  1. Huh.. they just sent me standby, they must really want to make sure this place is full to the tits!
  2. PRETTY MUCH! I'm leaving tomorrow afternoon, so all the hype is filling up inside me right now. I thought I was never going to top the last tour, getting Fury, Agitated, Dead Star x2 and playing ping pong with Matt and Dom... And now here we are with this and iHeart
  3. I'm also curious about this, but Webster Hall has multiple venues in it, and I can assume the Grand Ballroom will be open a bit later, and not right at 10? Noel Gallagher is even more impressive since his show starts at 9PM...
  4. You'll be fine... I wont be surprised if the initial line up of people is still working on getting in at 7
  5. I saw somewhere that rumours were that it'll be a mix of Live performances, album listening, and interviews. Obviously I want live because that is where Muse is best, but to be one of the first people to hear the new album, a month before it comes out... Pants are getting tight just thinking about it! Plus the size of that venue, sweet Jesus! Oh man, how awkward would it be to attend this as just an album listening, and the album turns out terrible (which given everything we've heard so far, wont happen).
  6. Not sure when I'll be getting in line, but I am really not sure what to expect. Muse site says it is a live performance, but iHeart makes it sound like a listening party, and doesn't mention live performance.
  7. Ohh okay you should be good then, for some reason I thought it was 48 hours to respond?
  8. Ooo damn that sucks, you are close to the wire for sure because it was 48 respond time I believe, and no idea how stand by works but I would think if you don't take your tickets you'd be out and they would just go to someone else on stand by. You really wont need to line up too early anyways, my friend mentioned that the e-mail so no earlier than 3 for line up?
  9. So I was looking around online for info on this gig... They are recording the whole thing because it will be streamed June 8th for the release of the album. It sounds like it'll be a listening party to hear all 12 tracks, and live performances / interviews as well. So hyped!
  10. Come to Toronto gigs when they tour, we'll get you nice and lit after with our reasonable drinking ages!
  11. Is there any confirmation that it is actually a listening party, or a gig or?
  12. If anyone won and may have a spare ticket please let me know as we are currently in a bit of a predicament. We are a group of 3 going from Canada to NYC, and my one buddy won, so only 2 of 3 can go, which makes things very hard and may end up not being able to go at all. Would be more than willing to work out a deal with someone if they end up with an extra ticket. Congrats to those who won!
  13. Yea I know someone who heard, but it seems like the e-mails are going out very slowly... hardly any buzz for 73 people to be selected.
  14. This would be amazing. We are working really hard at voting to get my friend from NYC to win the two tickets through Q 104... but I have a friend driving down with me, so if she only gets those 2 tickets, we'll be short one. I'll fly him home if I have to ha Fingers crosses all around!
  15. Not totally sure? They are just calling it an album release party, not sure what that means, could totally be a standard gig that is considered the celebration and then select winners are getting meet and greet?
  16. Oh god... I can't handle this... Active Forum members should be auto selected first.
  17. My buddy attended this gig: http://musewiki.org/Calgary_MacEwan_Hall_Ballroom_2004_(gig) I'm still not fully able to deal with it. He uses the ticket at a book mark and it makes me very jealous.
  18. Same here, I need to hear it, so the speculation that they might actually have a Piano on stage makes me at least optimistic! I just know that this will be one of the best Muse shows I will probably ever get to attend in NA. The setlist wont be radio cookie cutter bullshit either, so I will get some awesome songs, but not nearly as many as I want sadly.
  19. I'm coming to realize I want way more songs then I will be able to get that night.
  20. Given no Piano on Psycho tour, I'm guessing Sing for Absolution, Blackout, The Small Print, Thoughts of Dying a Atheist are fair options.
  21. Look at the poster, Marlin Room, Balcony Lounge and Studio are only places that appear to have anything. http://www.websterhall.com/the-rooms/ I doubt they could successfully have a Muse gig, clear it out and be ready for 10pm even if Muse went on at 8 with no opening act.
  22. Yea 16,000 people venue and double the price just doesn't make up for the Mayan disaster.
  23. The only reason I would be okay with them playing a new tune, is that we would be the first people to actually hear it. Otherwise I totally agree, I'll catch those songs on the arena tour.
  24. Starlight and SMBH can go away for this show. Drop in Fury/Futurism/Assassin/Microcuts/Dead Star/Hyper Music etc in for those songs. Also possibility of The Handler being live premier at this show? They were talking about playing a new Drones song from the album live soon, maybe these shows will be the start?
