  1. T'is in this case imo, just feels needlessly drawn out. Reapers has a pretty long solo but it has plenty of variation which helps keep it interesting. The Handler is just 1 minute of HO/PO on the same notes over and over again.
  2. It's a minute long and it varies very little, should've been about half the length. Could've used a bit more crash from Dom as well imo.
  3. K I'm warming to it a bit more now. Reminds me of a cross between Fury and Supremacy/Exo Part 1. The riff is sinister as fuck for a Muse song and the vocals are really good, quite catchy as well. Just a shame the solo drags on for so long. Should be cool at Download.
  4. Switches between Assassin, MOTP and TAB. At the moment, it's Assassin. The Hanlder probably wouldn't make my top 40 atm. I've liked every song from the new album to at least some degree other than Mercy, so I can't be that hard to please I just think that The Handler gets a bit dull as soon as the solo starts.
  5. Oh I know, I was using headphones (not the best but a decent enough pair). Like I said I'll listen to it a couple more times but right now I'm feeling: Reapers Psycho Dead Inside The Handler Mercy
  6. Only just had chance to listen, on holiday in some woods so I had to walk for ages to find a signal of any kind It's decent, I guess. Don't really see the hype atm. Not really that heavy either. I probably need to give it a couple more listens yet though.
  7. Awwww yeeeee I said in another thread (might have just been ages ago in this one actually) that I want an album consisting of stuff like Monty Jam and glitch electronics. Mainstream =/= bad though. UD is great. I know what you mean though, in an ideal world they would've gone on to experiment more with the electronic aspects of BH&R instead of making generic stadium rock with the occasional decent tune.
  8. It just felt like it could have been much more, instead it just feels like an elongated standard Muse piano song. CE does more in 7 minutes than Exo does in 12. Redemption's nice though, I can listen to it by itself as well unlike the other parts.
