  1. You're welcome! I had a really good time, had a bunch of friends over to swim and watch a horror movie :awesome:

I know! They played really well. Sorry about the Lions though :(

I'm really glad that he looks healthier! Yeah I totally see what you mean. We are really fortunate to be healthy and not have to be in a place like that. I hope I never ever have to go through putting one of my parents in a home like that when they are older :(. That's good that you're going to see him again soon. It was really emotional

Not too much work, but enough that I haven't been that bored. I know, that just makes it even worse. There was nothing good about that situation :noey:

Because if he's younger, that means he'll be able to play for longer and teams signing him would want to sign him to a longer deal, meaning more money. But yes, just speculation and no real hard evidence to prove it. He has so many awards, you're right! We've been very lucky to have someone as good as he is on our team for so long. I think that he does. There was a lot of talk about it but no one really came to a solid answer as to why a deal hasn't been reached yet. That's true! It would be a very good excuse for a vacation. It is a great movie :yesey:. None at all! Sorry that you guys lost :(. I wasn't able to watch that much of it because I had people over

Oh, good! Just wanted to see if you caught it :chuckle:

I'm sure that there are some, but I really can't recall one right now. There have to be some! Or else I would have no faith in movie-making anymore

Well don't worry about it! I'm going to have to figure out what CWA might stand for, because right now I can't think of anything. Good, it's really cool. Oh that's right you leave in 5 days! I bet you're excited

Well I just listened to it, and I think it's pretty good. It gave me a better understanding of what prog metal really is

  2. I'm really busy tonight so I won't be able to fully respond till tomorrow, sorry!

  3. You're welcome. Oh right, I remember you saying that. I'm sorry :(, that must have been really hard to see. I'm glad he's doing better now though. I'm also really glad you got to spend some time with him; I'm sure he was really happy to see you! I'm sure I've asked this before, but is he your mom's dad or your dad's dad? Actually Planet of the Apes deals with Alzheimer's which was really sad and hard to watch :(.

But I have been pretty busy this summer, which is good so I haven't been too restless. It would not be worth it, I don't think! I still can't believe I actually saw a Twilight movie in theaters :noey:

He would lie because if he's younger he'll probably get paid more by the team he signs with. I really don't know if it's true or not at all, just a lot of speculation. That's cool that you looked him up! He does a lot of really good things for the Dominican Republic as well as for people here in Saint Louis. I think he plays because he likes the game, but I just don't know if the money that he might be able to make has blinded him to that. But you're probably right that he wouldn't leave somewhere where people love him; people here are just wondering why he didn't make a deal with the Cardinals before the season started. I think I figured out what you meant, don't worry! Yeah, though it'd still be cool to go to Canada to see a football game. So do I! I want to watch 28 Weeks Later again soon. And the trailer too of course :awesome:. Only as a friendly competition of course! Will you be watching on TV?

I thought it fit really well! I hope you liked my pun with Forced In. Yeah, if only!

The vast majority of the time that is true

What is the CWA :$. I'll see if I can find time to watch it sometime soon! Don't worry about it! That's okay, I haven't seen that many of the classics either. Do you thjink you'll watch it in theaters or on DVD?

That sounds right! So that's Stockholm Syndrome, Citizen Erased and New Born. I'll listen to that very soon

  4. It's totally okay! How is he doing?

So am I! I love having days where there's nothing to do, but I can't have them too often or else I get restless. Yeah that actually might make sense, but as you say it's not worth watching Twilight scenes over and over and over. That might scar you for life

There's actually been some speculation that Pujols is older than he says he is. I don't really know if there is any truth to that, but some people believe it. Either way, I'd much rather have him stay. His defense and speed are also a lot better than Fielder's. Well that's really cool I think. Though people in Buffalo might not like it that much, because they would have to travel a lot farther to get to games. Yep! Wembley. I'm not sure if a lot of people actually went to it or not though. :chuckle: I think it'd be fun! So is your brother going to the game tomorrow? Or is it an away game?

. It fit really well too and I didn't feel like it was being forced in (:awesome::chuckle:) to somewhere it didn't belong. I wonder if my teacher like the song at all. Okay thanks! Glad it wasn't too redundant. I don't know if anyone else heard it, since we didn't get a chance to play the full videos in class.

It was alright I suppose. I image the original is better, as is often the case

Yep! Wow that's a really cool connection! I remember the name of that episode, but I don't remember his character. I think I'm going to look that episode up right now. Well I can't seem to see what he did in that episode, but that's still really cool! Thank you for mentioning him. Maybe I will re-watch that episode. Oh! That's okay though. I assume they are, or at least very popular. He was not a nice dude :noey:. Okay, when you do tell me what you think

I'm glad! Okay, I see the style kind of. Well all of those songs are great so they should certainly do that!

  5. I'm glad that you found it! That was cool to watch, but hard to time right. Sounds like you did have a lot of time :chuckle:. Oh well, I have days like that all the time too. Thank you for finding it! And yes I bet it was pretty fun, lots of listening to Muse :D

He's 27, so four years younger than Pujols. So yes he might last longer than Albert, but Albert is still the better player. And Fielder would probably be asking for a lot of money too, so I don't even know if we'd be able to pay him. I see both points that people have. I don't know if they still play in Toronto though. I know a game was played in Wembley Stadium last year :awesome:. I imagine they would be some pretty good competition :yesey:

I think you did too! I know I was so happy that I got to use it. At the beginning of the project I made it one of my goals to fit a Muse song in there. Sorry that I had already said it :$. It was right after the video ended so it was the credits and several seconds of blackness with Redemption playing. Thank you!

I saw the new one. It was a long time ago and I don't remember if it any good or not

Yes we did talk about that before! And we agreed that it was better to actually have the CD. It takes so long! I don't like waiting at all . Nope, was it good? It would be very hard to like him, he's pretty awful. Yeah, I hope he can play it well. It was more about the apes and their progression I guess. I wonder!

I wonder how they did it. It was probably backing tracks I'd imagine. That's true they do! What would be an example of prog metal. Is that was Stockholm Syndrome is?

  6. You got it! 37 seconds makes it match up really well. There are some bits in the video where he's singing and there's no vocals in EC, but besides that it's really close. Did you just try different times or did you find the comment I was talking about?

If we don't sign him, we might be able to sign the Brewers first baseman, who isn't quite as good but is still a very talented player. The Lions should beat everybody :chuckle:. That would probably make more sense, actually. That would be really cool to watch! I'm not so sure about NFL teams winning. I mean in general the NFL probably has a better average player than the CFL, but the difference isn't that great I imagine

I'm glad that you were able to find it! I like that there are many ways to look at it. Part three certainly could be very personal. I actually used part three in my final history project. Not sure if I mentioned that already or not, but we had to make a video thing about what would happen if a historical event of our choosing was changed. I chose if the invasion of Normandy had failed, leaving Russia to defeat the Nazis single handedly and turn all of Europe communist. As a result the US would have an even bigger Red Scare and therefore restrict freedoms greatly. And at the end I used Redemption because I thought it fit the theme pretty well :awesome:

I hope so too! I've seen The Blind Side, The Longest Yard, Invincible and I think awhile ago Remember the Titans. Maybe some others but that's all I can remember right now

Usually I buy stuff on iTunes if I can. I hate waiting for it to download though . Yeah, that's true. Well I saw it tonight! he is a very bad guy. I liked it a lot, though there was not as much action as I was expecting. Was it really? That's awesome! Probably not

Did they not have any backing musicians? Maybe they used recordings for some parts? He probably didn't realize the fans and media would pick up on it like they have!

  7. That was such a great pitch. Beltran was like a deer in headlights

  8. I'm actually a pretty big Mets fan too, since all of my dad's family is from New York. Been a tough couple of years for the Mets

  9. I know, and I'd like to think he wouldn't do that but who knows, really. We'll just have to find out at the end of the season. Well I wish the new team the best of luck (except against the Lions, of course ;)). Wikipedia is excellent! I don't know if it's ever been discussed, but since the MLB, NBA and NHL all have both Canadian and American teams, it makes sense that the NFL would also. Though it also makes sense that Canada would want its own league with its own rules

I'm glad you mentioned it though, because it is a pretty cool music video. I love all the colors in the background and the slow-mo stuff it incorporates. If I remember correctly you have to bring the NSC video to about 30 seconds or so. Maybe 32 seconds? And then play the EC audio. I could be wrong about that of course. Alright good luck with that! Yes that sounds good. I wonder how other people see it. Usually what I do for projects is go to Wikipedia and then use the sources that it has listed at the bottom of the page. That way I don't have to cite Wikipedia

Would have been much easier on the fanbase :chuckle:. Maybe there will be one day! Which ones have you seen? I actually haven't seen all that many. It is a pretty good movie, I enjoyed it a lot

Yeah usually I try to avoid watching things for free online, but sometimes it is hard to resist. That would work I'm sure. And I can't see it getting any better. Of course that's not why you want to see it (just kidding :chuckle:). It looks pretty good so I have high expectations. I know, I wonder if he studied as much as he would have for a regular test. Yeah, that would make sense

It's going to be so cool :yesey:. They probably will have to use Morgan a lot. I'm surprised that playing the album in full was Matt's idea. Okay!

    You don't have to, really

  10. Yeah, he would get booed a lot when the Cubs came to town . Hopefully this team will be able to last longer. You would think that they'd be able to get a lot of fans. Oh yes that would make sense too. I wonder what they plan on doing to make it different? That is really sad to see that happen :(. I wonder if the CFL and the NFL have ever thought about merging

I've never actually seen this version without the Twilight bits until you just mentioned that! I had no idea that they were going to pop up. And it was awful . I bet it would be really cool to see but I have no idea how someone discovered that. That is a good point and I still feel bad for him. I'm not sure if I'm right about it or not, but that's what I read online. So yes I think we are probably both right. Wikipedia is awesome, I use it all the time for stuff . Probably not the best source of information but it's so useful and easy

I wish they had just won easily , but you can't always get what you want. Well maybe there will be someday. That movie I referenced was a drama about the NFL in general. There have been several movies about players and stuff like that. Have you seen The Blind Side? That's a pretty good football movie

Hm...:ninja:. That might be a good option actually. Really? Well i think too little is more than too much. Thank you!. I just think that all this patriotism blinds people to problems in American society that need to be fixed. People think America is perfect and they ignore all the issues of our society. I'm glad it was good! I want to see Planet of the Apes which I might be seeing tonight. Tom Felton (Malfoy) is in it, so that should be cool to see him. Yep that's a good point. And he's really smart

That's great! I'm really, really excited for you. You're going to have such an amazing time :awesome:. Darkshines is a pretty good song, I think. I don't know why Chris doesn't like it. :chuckle: That would be okay!

Okay good! I'm glad it makes sense. I won't but I'm sure you're pretty close

  11. Big time! Go Cards. How bout yourself?

  12. Butterflies and Hurricanes really isn't a piano song though. And, at least live, USoE is one of their best piano songs. Not saying it should be played every gig next tour, but it should be played pretty often.
  13. Yes it really would be. There are rumor he might be going to one of our rivals, the Chicago Cubs :noey:. Why is it so hard for teams to exist in Ottawa? Well hopefully the new team will have more success. Wow that's really cool! Yes, good luck to both! There are lots of teams in the NFL and six games every year are against teams from your division, so that's really only ten games against other teams. Yep, happy for either

I think so too! He looks pretty cool. Only he can look badass while singing about eternal love :chuckle:. Yes, it was an awful shocking surprise. Apparently if your start the video at the right time and put it on mute, it fits perfectly with Execution Commentary. Not sure when the time is though, it's somewhere in a YouTube comment on EC. Not totally sure what they were thinking . Yes, that'd be cool! I would be happy about that. Ah yes, that's true. Though exogenesis does specifically mean alien life being spread to Earth, it is often used to describe Panspermia, or the idea that life from any one planet could be spread to any other (got that all from Wikipedia :chuckle:).

That became more and more comforting the more often it happened! Really? Never?

Good, I hope you get a chance to soon! It sounds like it was awesome, and yeah I can see that. American pride comes up all too often I think . We're not really that great! Yeah, it hurt his grade in the class a lot obviously

I know, that's awesome that you get to go to it. Cool!. Ah well

I meant for plays we perform a Shakespeare play once every two years. Whether or not we read them in English is more arbitrary A thousand? Wow!

  14. That's how it is here about Pujols. Yeah I hope we can resign him also, hopefully he will take more than just money into account. Does Ottawa have a team anymore? Well that's cool that he was on the Lions for a bit at least. I'm really excited! I don't know actually. They haven't played each other in several years. I'd probably see which team would need the win more (in terms of making the playoffs) and cheer for them

I don't know how Matt can take himself seriously when he plays that. It is pretty cool! The version with Twilight is :noey:. Guiding Light is just kind of a drag live, especially when they put it in between songs like Butterflies and Hurricanes and Citizen Erased :wtf:. That is very true, but hopefully the kid doesn't mind too much. Yay!. Oh yes that I agree with. Is he singing as an alien race? I always thought he was singing as humanity trying to populate a new planet because Earth is too polluted. Probably either interpretation is right.

It probably was! Very stressful to be a fan of them at that time though :chuckle:. There's a quote from a movie about the NFL that's similar to that. It's something along the lines of "on any given Sunday, any team can win." Or something like that. Yeah, it's terrible though

If you watch it you'll see what I'm saying. That would have been really cool to see, but at least you got to see some of the other Olympic stuff going on. Ah that's really cool and patriotic! Our chem teacher said that if you could get every single question wrong on a multiple-choice test, you got a 100%. But if you get only a few right, you're stuck with that score. My friend tried it on a 35 question test and got two right, so he ended up with a 5.7%:(.

Yeah that is a good point! I'd love to hear those songs. Also apparently Chris just had an interview about R/L and there's a thread about it somewhere on here where someone posted the full interview, if you want to listen. :chuckle: Only a few!

We do one Shakespeare play every two years. It was really fun! Probably his second most famous, behind Romeo and Juliet. Which one did you do?

  15. That's great to hear. I hope you can get him back. Albert Pujols' contract is up after this season and we don't know if we'll be able to resign him. He's been with us for 11 years (his whole career) but he might be asking for more money than we can afford :(. Oh, cool! Thanks for telling me all that. What team did he played for in the CFL? I think we will be too. The Rams first preseason game is on Saturday! :awesome:. He retired the year after they lost the Superbowl, where they got to the playoffs again but lost

Yeah, that would be really interesting to see. I love that guitar solo though! It's so cheesy and poppy and fun :chuckle: (well that's the song in general also). It's probably more fun than Guiding Light live anyway. The piano is awesome. Yeah, but oh well, it's just people on the internet. Good! I hope you like it. I can see Soldier's Poem being easy to relate to. Well for Exogenesis I think part one might be kind of easy to relate to, someone who's unsure of their purpose in life. They would never suspect you! :ninja:

I think it is pretty hard to make last minute comebacks, though last year the Jets were masters at last minute comebacks, they had maybe 4 or 5 in a row. I'm not entirely sure if that's 100% accurate, I wasn't able to find the charts that our history teacher showed us. But they were basically to the same effect. It's pretty bad :noey:

Well, Pam is normal also. But besides that each one of the characters has something that makes them a little off. Oh must have been. Did you get to attend any of that? That's a pretty good show, I'm not sure where I heard it though really. Aw, it does go pretty fast

It must take lots of practice to get it right :chuckle:. I hope he does too, and yeah I hope he does that also. I know you love it :yesey:

The guy who played him for our schools' performance did a really good job! One of my really good friends played Miranda. It's pretty good. We had to read it for school

  16. I'm so glad that you're happy! Nah, don't worry about it. Well thank you for that

  17. You're welcome! :chuckle:. I'm glad you appreciate it
  18. Also, check the loveboat section ;)

  19. And I hope you can resign him after his contract is over. That's a great run! I haven't heard of him, did he go on to the NFL? Yep, and they were unstoppable. We won the Superbowl in 1999, got to the Superbowl in 2001 and lost, and then things went downhill. Warner got hurt in 2002, we had a good season in 2003 but lost in the first round of the playoffs and we haven't had a winning season since then. Warner ended up being a backup QB for a couple of teams until he got the starting job in Arizona in 2008 and led them to the Superbowl, where they lost

Both nights would be awesome. I'd like to hear Neutron Star Collision live, actually :chuckle:. That poor kid, so many mean comments about him on YouTube. I'm glad it was a good article. One Big Holiday is also a very good song by them. Yeah, I can see that, but there are some songs like Map of the Problematique, that are also easy to relate to. Not so much Knights of Cydonia :chuckle:. It was great. I would walk around places like that too! It'd be fun to "randomly" see them! :awesome:

That's probably true, and yes the playclock does make sense. It seems like most plays in the NFL start with only a few seconds left on the playclock, so a lot of time is run down. There's a massive difference here too

    Figure_1.gif

. That needs to be fixed, soon

Jim is probably my favorite, just because he is one of the only "normal" people in the office. Jim is also the funniest :chuckle:. I hope they can. I know, I thought of you during that part! It must be pretty famous, I think I heard it mentioned on the TV show The Big Bang Theory. Or maybe I'm just making that up. Were you able to memorize it? :chuckle:

All the time! I know, Matt does that so smoothly. Yeah, it does! I wish he still played the New Born piano intro

I really like the Tempest! Let's see, I haven't read all that many either actually, but including ones I've seen as plays or movies, probably The Taming of the Shrew, The Tempest and Hamlet

  20. Well that's a good sign then! Hopefully he'll be with you guys for several more years. He was so amazing to watch, it was so hard for people to tackle him. We also had Kurt Warner, probably the greatest quarterback in Rams history, and Tory Holt and Issac Bruce, two amazing receivers. That's when we were the "Greatest Show on Turf," which I think I mentioned earlier

We could hear the pop songs on the first night and the rarities on the second night :awesome:. But seriously, both nights would be amazing. So much energy. I'd be very embarrassed, like that one kid during Feeling Good on HAARP who lip-syncs . Have you seen that? Was it a good article? That would be awesome, if it is actually more personal. The place where I saw MMJ had a really small GA area and the barrier was almost right up against the stage. Seeing Muse there would be perfect. Who knows though, with Muse. Oh that would have been really cool! I'd love to have them interview on a radio in St. Louis. When they come here again they should go to the City Museum! I feel like they would love that :D

I don't know why the NFL would be lower scoring. Maybe defenses are better in the NFL or the CFL has better offenses or something. It's so saddening :(. But also what's sad is the socioeconomic situations that lead to stuff like this

They did such a great job. Dwight is very, very cool . Okay, I will! I hope he's good, I want The Office to still be a good show, because it's been so funny. I haven't actually seen that before, I think it's from some of the webisodes they put online sometimes. I recognize that song too! I listened to it a lot when I was taking chemistry. Probably my favorite thing about chem, actually . So don't be too embarrassed that you recognize it, it's a funny song

Don't worry, as you know I do stuff like that all the time! It wasn't, don't worry. I love the piano solo, and watching Matt switch from guitar to piano and back is really cool. It's really good, I loved reading it! I hope you can find it

    Thank you!

    Very, very true

    What are your top three?

  21. Do you think he'll be retiring after the next season? Well that awesome! From what I've heard he deserves it a lot. Here's a good highlight video of Faulk http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i5hsrYqsS8w. The first minute or so is from when he was on the Indianapolis Colts and the rest is from the Rams.

I know! And I'd probably go both days. I mean, if I'm going all the way to England I might as well see two concerts, not just one :chuckle:. That's true! I'd love to be on the video, as long as I wasn't doing anything dumb . I'd also love to have them play at a smaller venue, like where I saw My Morning Jacket a week ago. They actually played there in 2004, 2005 and 2006, though by now I'm sure they are way too big. Good! I don't think they will either

Well if he trained with a pro team, he's probably pretty good. :chuckle: Yes it is! That's probably why, though other things (like having a shorter field and having more downs) would seem to make the NFL a higher scoring league. It's really horrible, the things that these kids are doing to peoples' houses and places of work

They did a very good job with all the characters in the show. Dwight is awesome, so is Andy and Jim and all of the minor characters as well. Oh really? Yeah, hopefully he'll do well. There actually were not that many jokes about Canadians. It's called Business Trip from season 5.

 Don't worry, I figured out what you meant! Well hopefully they will play it, Butterflies and Hurricanes is awesome live. Yep, that's the one! It's the updated version, with all three of them on the front. I think it was updated when The Resistance was released. It's really good

I sound like such a fanboy

Muse fans are they best

That's really cool! I'm glad it was good. No, I haven't actually

  22. Oh, cool. Well that's great that he's been with you for so long. Do you think he'll qualify for the Hall of Fame (if the CFL has one). Marshall Faulk, who used to be a Rams running back was just elected into the NFL Hall of Fame . It's really tough trying to stop good receivers

I'm sure they'll do it! I'd love to see it. I would camp for that for sure :awesome:. Yes that would be amazing too! I'm sure they'll do a US tour, but I mean the should do a Canadian tour too, where they hit all the major Canadian cities

From the videos I saw he seemed pretty good, but I'm not a very good judge of soccer players . That's a good team to choose then. If I ever play a soccer game, I'll choose them too. I'm sure it is long, or doesn't make sense :chuckle:. Ah, well they just moved it up. I didn't know that either. Yeah, ours is very shallow. Makes for some intense goal-line passes . Oh right, you aren't just staying in one place. Hopefully the riots are over by then. That's really sad :(. I hope it all gets sorted out very soon

Well, I think critics reacted poorly to how mean he could be, so they made him more ignorant rather than flat out mean. Though he still has his moment. I heard James Spader is joining the cast of The Office and I'm presuming his character will take Michael's spot. There's an episode where Michael and some other workers go to Canada :awesome:

I love to see them having a good time . That'd be awesome if they played that at Reading, in addition to OoS! I just read it on Musewiki actually, so you must be right! Now I just need to figure out where I heard that it was water on the drums. Maybe it was in the book I have about Muse :shifty:

One it starts I yell "Best song ever!"

I really liked the college. Was a very long day though, we just got in an hour or so ago

They were wild, I like Muse fans more :yesey:

That's great! Was it a good performance?
