  1. People keep saying this, yet it isn't true...
  2. It's not that harsh, is it? Mainly he just doesn't like the lyrics and honestly that's not something most people are going to argue with him too strongly about...
  3. Yeah I've heard of this for movies and games, but never heard of it for music. Certainly not positive-review-only embargoes.
  4. Does this happen with albums at all? I've never heard of this for music before.
  5. "i know more about the world than you and let me prove it"
  6. Space Dementia, RBS or Isolated System. Take your pick.
  7. Worth remembering that TR got a 5.9 from Pitchfork. In fact I thought both their TR and T2L reviews were pretty fair. The City Blog review there is very good, btw. tl;dr of what Kerrang says?
  8. I really do love that initial guitar solo. Shades of Falling Down, in a good way.
  9. Makes you appreciate how well the piano section of CE is introduced, tbh.
  10. They weren't even complaining, though...? They were just saying it reminded them of something else.

  14. The total lack of any actual harmony-based transition from the heavy section to the piano section?
  15. This is pretty much what's suggested by the lyrics as well. So it does make sense narratively - just less so musically.
