The Small Print > Butterflies and Hurricanes > Ruled By Secrecy > Blackout > AP, Tiro, SfA, FawY...
New Born > Space Dementia > Bliss > CE & Micro Cuts
Blackout > AP > BH&R > Ruled by Secrecy > SfA > Tiro > FawY > TSP
Space Dementia > Microcuts > Newborn > CE > Bliss
Citizen Erased has never been, and will never be as amazing as it is made out to be.See, if you said that, I would agree with you.

Debase Masons Grog
Could have been an absolute highlight of BH&R.
-
Guiding Light > USOE, Uprising, Resistance, UD, exo 2
What is this I don't even...

Absolution goes downhill after Hysteria, when most of the songs are fairly average until RbS.
Blackout and Butterflies & Hurricanes would like to have a word with you.
-
EDIT: actually that makes no sense. CE > NB, NB live (not resistance tour) > CE (live). Yes.
At the same time, though, I consider the latter half of the Hullaballoo performance of CE to be one of their best performances.
-
On that note, New Born (Resistance Tour) < everything except GL
Because of the intro (or lack of)? I'm yet to see it, but I hope that doesn't mess up the whole song.
PS- big lol at your sig. It was only a matter of timeThe quote?

I've gone wayyyyy off Citizen Erased lately Therefore,
Space Dementia > CE
Megalomania > CE
Micro Cuts > CE
But CE > New Born
Not quite.Agreed. It's actually
Space Dementia > CE
Megalomania > CE
Micro Cuts > CE
And CE < New Born
But CE > the other songs on the album.

I think a lot of the hate for Sober is pretty unjustified. "but itz a song abaut b00ze" Yeah it is, and it's pretty obvious that it's meant to be tongue-in-cheek. If the song's lyrics are not meant to be taken seriously, then why would you take them seriously?
But I take the music fairly seriously, and because the music on that song is, for the most part, quite bland, I'm not a huge fan of it. It would have been a good b-side - Spiral Static, Host, or possibly a more refined version of Twin should have been on Showbiz in its place.
Space Dementia > Citizen Erased. Space Dementia is also the best song on OOS.
-
I like FAWY, but it's probably one of the most skipped Muse songs there is for me. Doesn't help I tend to forget it exists. I agree it's better than TSP and TOADA.
-
Personally one thing i don't like about muse is that stupid cheesy twilight song. muse is great don't get me wrong, but that song is like drilling nails into my ears.. Personally i just don't fall for the stereotypical mushy romance lyrics, or crap like twilight. [no offense to those who do like twilight. i just don't find the series very appealing that's all.]
and btw hope i'm posting my opinion here in the right thread, if not whatev
Mocking NSC?! That's unheard of on this board.
-
I was just kidding. Why are you guys so easy to troll?
I figured you obviously weren't being completely serious.
-
I haven't seen Hullaballoo - I got the cd version. I have to say, though, Dead Star sounds incredibly weak on that performance.
-
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, I guess...
I'd agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong.
Woah there, chill. It's okay to not like a song, it happens sometimes.Because of people posting about songs they dislike on the official site, Muse are suffering a brutal, slow death.

All of HAARP is bad. Apart from Stockholm Syndrome and Knights, though, of course.
Blackout, Hoodoo, Apocalypse Please, etcetera.
-
Undisclosed Desires is the best song on TR.
Almost.
-
Overture > MK Ultra in its studio form
As for Newborn, I would be happy for it to be dropped if it was exchanged for Space Dementia or something. Unless Morgan played the piano.
-
City of Delusion, Take a Bow - both killer, killer songs (especially the first) but don't know about underrated.
Undisclosed Desires - possibly yes but it deserves some of what it gets (and doesn't deserve some of it as well)
Screenager - YES
Yes, yes, yes, and Screenager...I'm not sure. It's not a bad song by any means, but I don't know that it's underrated.
Uno, Fillip and The Small Print definetly deserve more recognition, more through the media rather than among us muse fansUno, yes, it is an underrated gem. Fillip and The Small Print are fairly average - not underrated.
I'd give up Bliss, CE, and RBS up in the sets for a chance to have Apocalypse Please back.
Hell yes. It should never have left in the first place.

IBTL
The thread's been around for 5 years...
-
But the sound on Stockholm Syndrome is so weak The riffs after are awesome though mmm nom nom.
That is a fair point, but Blackout, Hoodoo, Apocalypse Please, etc. all sound immense. And a weak SS is better than no SS (Absolution Tour DVD ).
-
I think the sound quality of the HAARP DVD is great, and it's a great live release - except for cutting off some songs. Not the CD maybe, but definitely the DVD. According to some people, you'd think it's objectively bad.
-
Darkshines is decent, but it really looks out of place compared to the brillance of the first several tracks. Screenager is a lot better on piano, but the album version messes up the flow of the album for me. I usually end up skipping it.
-
'Change in the air and they'll hide everywhere'
-
Shine Acoustic > Shine
It comes down to the climax for me, and I believe the climax of the former to be superior.

Indeed. It's incredibly bland next to the other rockers such as SS and Hysteria. Fury on the other hand...
TOADA is better than TSP imo, but neither of them are up to the quality of the other songs on the album.
