Very, it's dull
Could have been so much better if they hadn't turned it into, well, a pop song. They should have gone along with the melody at the start and progressed from that.

Yeah well i think it's likely that when muse tour next they'll play at least 18-20 songs per show. Another album and a different tour should result in longer shows and if they do then i'm sure they'll include a few rarities.
Well, when TR was about to come out I was happy since I figured it would mean even more variety in each show.

Unnatural Selection is Muse's best song since Citizen Erased.
I wouldn't go quite that far, personally, but I can definately say that (in my opinion) Unnatural Selection > New Born
(Cliched as it may be, it's so hard not to compare those two ). Actually (I once ranked my favorite Muse songs, just for fun ) Unnatural Selection is in my top 15 Muse songs (which, for me, is very high!).Brilliant song

In my books, they can do elaborate shows so long as they don't restrict the setlist too much. And, as has been shown, they don't - they can mix it up.

I do love UD, probably in my top 5 on TR. I don't know how much I like that direction though.
I'd rank it as the third best on TR, but from all the videos I've seen, it's fairly boring live. Who knows, maybe it will surprise me...

Muse can't save themselves in Australia, they will piss me off no matter what they do there. There are only two things they can do:
1) Play generic setlists. This will only go to show how little they care and that they've ripped off Australian fans. Then again, I will be kinda happy if they do. But still, it will show how lazy they are and that they just favour their shit songs.
Verdict: FAIL
2) Play some actual rarities and fuck European/US fans again. The same special treatment they gave the Asian fans. I'm fully expecting this one. This will only show that this entire tour has been one big lie, and that they are very capable of playing older songs but won't unless you live really far away and pay stupid amounts of money for your tickets.
Verdict: FAIL
3) Play generic setlists on the first nights. Play some actual rarities on the second nights and screw first night attendees + European/US fans over.

I agree with you. Although not about the 'classical stuff'. They've always had classical influences and it's always been an integral part of their sound. In fact, I were to pick a sound they were to focus on, it would be the Space Dementia/Apocalypse Please style songs. (Although yes, I'm not sure that Apocalypse Please has classical influences.)

Well, they did say that's a style they might explore further...
SS is staying. Dom has said in many interviews that it's one of his favourite songs to play, and regardless of what you say, Dom has at least some say in the setlist.
I hope that the next tour isn't singles + new album again. Of course, a lot depends on how good the quality of the next album is, but surely they should rotate some of the older tracks, otherwise it's going to be increasingly grating for fans who are going to shows again.

The first half of CE is better than the second.
I disagree - the second half is better than the first. Just listen to the latter half of CE in Hullabaloo - one of the most emotionally charged moments in any of their performances.
The first verse and chorus of Citizen Erased is just as good as the piano outro, IMO. To me, it's a little overhyped.All of your opinions annoy me. All of them.

I've always liked those songs very much, I've never considered them to be fillers. I think they're better than, say, Blackout or B&H.
