I used to be able to hit B6 in whistle. Then I recorded it and played it back.
NEVER. AGAIN.
-
Well that was from memory. Upon listening again, it sounds like it's between F# and G.

I dun geddit.
Just finished reading the Matt thread. Is the "best display of range" a bad joke or do they not realise how incorrect that is?
-
Ah, I figured it was for nasal singers. Surprised to see Axl on that list then. I hate the guy, but he can sing.
-
Yeah the CVI forum is a bit daunting at first, but to be fair most of the people there obviously haven't read the book.
As for that thread... wtf is this "noses" list?
-
Apparently I am! Also you should Google CVI forum and The Modern Vocalist forum, both are excellent resources with teachers and good singers posting regularly.
-
Hahah. That's the main reason I like CVT, the terms are better and harder to dispute.
-
Not really, it's falsetto with a lot of twang, so it sounds like modal. Did you read the CVT book? It's what they call metal-like neutral.
What's this forum?
-
He's not that bad. Some nice overdrive in there. Not really my type of music though.
-
Hahah, too hard to tell. There's a low F# there, but I think he may have shifted it down an octave.
-
Yeah I noticed, the board's probably the most active it's been in months thanks to that thread

You weren't joking about tall and thin! I'm 90 kg, and trying to get down to 80-85. You had me worried that I'd be prone to lung collapses, hahah.
