  1. My Whammy IV also has some issues... When I plug it in everything's fine, but after a minute or so it just... turns off? The LED's go out, but the signal still travels through and reaches the output (i.e., I can still play, but the Whammy just doesn't do anything anymore). Then when I remove the power and plug it back in again, it works... for a minute. Weird.

Edit: I've had it for about 10 years though, I think.

  2. Guys, I have a question about the tone of Eternally Missed - is there a Phaser or Whammy in the solo? It sounds to me like there's a phaser-ish sound but I don't know effects enough to tell.

Btw, I set my FF at 10 2:30 3:15 5 5 and I think the Fuzz sounds pretty close?

I'm fairly certain there's no whammy action in the solo, but there does seem to be a phaser going on, though only with a low amplitude (i.e., it only affects the guitar signal slightly).

quite a difference on those. almost as much as the 1st batch of MB-1s compared to Bs' guitar

I think I actually prefer the left one. A lot of glitter is great, but mainly when it's concentrated in stripes like the MB1's and the original Santa. This way I think it's too much.

    Still nice though :p

  4. I guess you're right... I rewatched some videos from early 2000's and in fact most of the guitars he used for PiB didn't have the sustainer.

Then I went to check all guitars in the wiki site and in fact found only one guitar with both circuits installed (judging the wiki is correct). The 007 which was not even used live...

007 has been used live but just not for PiB iirc.

I mentioned SMBH because I always thought he used the FF for that big fat sound and he uses the sustainiac alot. Guess not...

He might still be using a FF, but just not one that is mounted on his guitar.

  5. I also was there last Friday at Lowlands. Worst set I've ever had from them. Absolutely ridiculous. Why would you play the Globalist when it obviously doesn't work live/at festivals and it takes up the time of 3 regular songs?

Also they really need to stop with those long breaks inbetween songs. At one point with the balloons nothing happened for what, 5 minutes? The 'voodoo chile' intro is also at least 3x as long as it should be.

Ugh, all in all the disappointment of the festival :(

  6. The ID you need when you get to the site... Would a drivers license do? It says passport or valid ID, So would my drivers license do?

I'm not sure. In The Netherlands a drivers' license is only a valid Identification method within the country. If I go abroad I need a passport or a European ID-card.

  7. And his voice is totally trashed. Should've reined it in when he was younger.

His voice is definitely not the same anymore (no surprise when you're at that age) but I think it's still alright. And he's got more energy than the whole of Muse combined which kind of makes up for it.

  8. I,d say show some balls and give Showbiz a try,or be honest and just admit that you can,t sing it anymore, instead of lying to people.Give the fans what they want.and not, someday at a small gig in France, but on this tour

Madness,Starlight and even worse UD UUuuuch:vomit:

What Bells needs is a good fuck,to become a real man [again]

    A man with BALLS!!!!:stongue:

    Are you insane?

  9. Might want to leave that last part out. If Drones songs were played, it's likely the lyrics WEREN'T amazing. Could be complaining. :chuckle:

Maybe if the gigs weren't so repetitious, the discussions wouldn't be, either. :awesome:

The fact that there were lyrics at all (sung by Matt) could be amazing: who knows, next tour Matt will let the the audience sing everything.

  10. I was at tonight's gig.

First off, because I don't want to sound like a spoiled brat, i want to say I really enjoyed it and think the performance and show they put up really is great.

    But as for the setlist:

    - Supremacy.. Meh. I'd rather have CE, haha.

    - AP was nice, even though I felt like I was the only one to know it.

    - UD came back :( really boring (But no Resistance :D)

    - Stockholm Syndrome, fuck yeah :D

    ...

    - 2 song encore and no TaB? :'( Also no Reapers.

Overall I enjoyed the gig (KoC felt surprisingly fresh even though I've heard it at every gig I've been to), but knowing that TaB has been a semi-regular the past gigs... makes me disappointed.

I tweeted some bits of setlist by the way (@FelixKlaassen), thought you guys might appreciate it :p

Dusja.
