  1. Haha yeah, they are some of the best interviews. Wish they had all the parts in one video though rather than like 5 different ones. Ballache
  2. Hayden has been returned and working now (turns out it was the biasing on the power tubes!). Up for sale enit edit: why KnT so quiet? C'maan.
  3. the best interviews are always the ones where it has fuck all to do with the band saw an amusing one on youtube with biffy the other day where they're talking about their phones and stuff. It's just refreshing to hear about them and what they actually do rather than endless repeated things about the album
  4. I'm sure they've had more 'obscure' guests. Wonder how it works. Most of the guests normally by 'coincidence' have a new movie or tour or something coming out soon so I imagine it's the agent of the guest that arranges it rather than the actual show Matt should go on to promote the 20th Anniversary next year
  5. That F1 thing is interesting And would love it for Matt to appear on Top Gear, would be a reyt laugh
  6. I think they're reasonably expensive. And take a scroll through the gear page on musewiki, is pretty detailed I guess and a whammy will do fine!
  7. Yeah it's been in his rack since BH&R now!
  8. I thought he just had something doing the pitchshifting and blended it slightly with the 'un-shifted' signal or sutin
  9. http://musewiki.org/Clavia_Nord_Modular_G2_Engine actually is it a vocoder? Maybe I'm missing something obvious but can't see vocoder in the descrip anywhere
  10. My Iron Lung is a decent example of a whammy 4 with chords think it's whammy 4? Was a while ago they did that, dunno when each whammy came out
  11. Meh tuners are just convenient, love me TU2 Dunno about DT so much, but I've had both Whammy 4 and 5 Whammy 5 does everything the 4 does, except it doesn't have the dry output as well as wet, but I never used it anyway. Whammy 5 unlike the 4 has true bypass, runs on 9V DC so is more compatible with most power bricks, has the polyphonic chords mode and looks sxc If you can get a Whammy 5 for a decent price I'd get that. I got one off US eBay (cheers James oxoxoxo) for cheap, but customs can be a dick
  12. I personally would recommend Vox VR or Valvetronix series or any Blackstar. Few people on here have blackstars now
  13. Get a decent one second hand, easy. Someone on here's selling one for £70 or something IIRC? And 'acquire' the software
  14. I'd rather buy a whammy for £100ish that can do a decent MOTP and a bunch of other stuff than a dedicated pedal for it
  15. I'm sure Matt was talking bollocks when he said he invented it. It's not really much of an invention I don't actually have any idea about this boss pedal
  16. Well afaik Matt never said he used this Boss pedal. He just mentioned it in an interview previous to the release of T2L that it was capable of a similar effect to the one he 'invented', which as you said uses some nord thing he keeps in his rack. I imagine he'd use the same gear for BF as MotP, makes sense. But yeah, nowhere did he say that he actually uses the Boss pedal I think.
  17. It's obviously not an Ibanez neck! Just because the headstock bore resemblance urgh
  18. pls guiz I'm failing at trying to photoshop
  19. Can't find a professional looking enough picture...could anyone get rid of my bed covers on this and just give the guitar and strap a white background?
  20. I'm gonna post a picture of my jazz to the page and say it's a pic taken backstage of one of Matt's new guitars
