  1. I was never really in the loop of what the band had set about any kind of set, I was just hoping that some kind of small club suprise gig would pop up on or around the anniversary lol. Doms cool, I bet he'd be about it lol, he seems to be down for anything is the impression I get

  2. Panic Station isn't really a hit though so I doubt it would have made a difference.

Yeah it probably would've got the same lackluster reaction as most of the songs lol, maybe I just mean the set could've used a couple more lively songs. New born and Bliss would've helped lol

  3.

    oi

    positivity or i'll av yer

Lol, I'm sure I'm mostly alone in this but I would've been fine with a little more of a poppier glasto set, like To me IS + Handler didn't need to be played at that gig, I would've been fine with like Panic station or some more T2L just because they didn't play glasto for that album. I'm just tired of hearing OMG Coldplay blew them out of the water they're so much better

  4. Yeah, Fury or The Groove might've been a better shout if you wanted to prey on his personal faves (then again, the former got cancelled in Norway iirc so who knows). I don't think Matt's a massive fan of Assassin. In fact, I think all three of them find it a bit of a pain in the arse :chuckle:

At least you tried and had fun anyway though.

Edit: wait were you the guy with the assassin sign or no im confusion

Unfortunately no, I'm one of the still bitter Americans :/ lol

  5. They're pretty good sets, tbf.

Still could use more of a theme, imo, but I wouldn't complain.

Bummer for your shit to not work on your birthday, for sure.

Nah they definitely are good sets, at this point I wouldn't even be bummed if they played Feeling Good at a show I was at, haven't seen it since 2010. I guess I was dreaming Matt would use his birthday to play a rare favorite of his...maybe have a little fun, Agitated or maybe his baby Fury lol

  6. Take a Bow

Map of the Problematique + Who knows Who

    Panic Station

    Dead Inside

    Futurism

    Butterflies and Hurricanes

    Citizen Erased

    Sunburn

    Undisclosed Desires

    Starlight

    Madness

    Reapers

    New Born + riffs

    Bliss extended

    __________

    Muscle Museum

    Plug in Baby

    Stockholm Syndrome + riffs

    Or something

  7. Invincible was never really that cheesy to me, compared to the shit that came after it it's pretty heavy lol, I guess besides the verses. Although it's one of the ballad style tracks of its time I'd hate to put it along Guiding light and Explorers lol

  8. a 4k film with

    Defector

    Supremacy

    Stockholm Syndrome

    Assassin

    United States of Eurasia

    TaB

Make it happen, Muse. We don't need another live version of fucking feeling good

Lol watch them making Feeling Good the piano slot again, that'd be so fucked up. Get Bliss and CE on there since we haven't seen them on a dvd of theirs in years

  9. Any footage?

They still didn't play arenas there, right?

They opened with KoC at "my" show in 2007. When riff started it was chaos. Slayer would be proud on that many moshpits

Nope no arenas back then, this was a pretty large outdoor venue but no where near the capacity of an arena.

And yup they opened with JFK + KoC at my

Show too, unbelievable. They also played Sunburn, bliss,

City of delusion, and opened the encore with Microcuts, not a bad first Muse gig lol :)

  10. I don't remember seeing a good crowd in USA on footage of any band from this millennium

Woodstock '94 and '99 weren't much different than South America but now it's just depressing and I've noticed the same trend in some parts of Europe :(

I promise Muse back in 07 was an insane crowd, I was only 14 or 15 and it was to the point I was genuinely scared for my well being, granted it was my first concert though lol

  11. The crowd in Vienna was dreadful. I got properly mad in the beginning during Psycho. Even crowd at Rock Werchter was better and Muse were the last band in 4 day festival

You should've been at one of the shows in the U.S. Lol. I partially blame it on the stage/floor design, and also blame it on the influx of "OMG I've heard of Muse they have that awesome song (talking about Madness or Uprising)" type of crowd

  12. It definitely sounds great live no doubt, I just personally wouldn't lose any sleep if I never saw it again. Although the first time I saw them play it in 07 with about 4 giant most pits around me at once was pretty insane, ahh the good old muse crowds lol
