  1. Actually pretty surprised they decided to play R & L, it'll be interesting to see what kinda set they play since they won't be tied to an album tour, which leads me to think they'll do something atleast semi special, whatever that would mean lol

  2. Yeah it's definitely similar to Psycho, I'm not sure why they couldn't have condensed the idea for the song into 3 and a half minutes lol, Psycho is just way to fucking long lol. Something about New Kind of Kick just hits a little harder for me, I honestly wouldn't mind if they went back to an electronic style again though either, Drones just seems so dull after a certain point

  3. Surprise gig set list:

    Drill Sergeant + Psycho

    Plug In Baby

Interlude + Hysteria + Back in Black outro

    Supermassive Black Hole

    Time Is Running Out

    Munich Jam

    Madness

    Dead Inside

    Starlight

    The Globalist

    Uprising

    Mercy

Man with a Harmonica + Knights of Cydonia

Almost rather them not play a gig than do that set list lol

  4. An LA club set would be pretty cool, Open up with New Kind of Kick ( upon further listening came to the conclusion that would be a banger live, bring on Distorted Mic Matt screams), also would be interesting to see how they'd treat a post Drones tour/ between albums set

Edit: Please god don't wear the Elvis hair ( know it's coming)

Lmao, I've never minded Please Let me get what I want, although I heard that version of the song first so maybe that's it. I'm just more pissed I allowed myself to get this hype for this shit cover, do we think there's any announcement coming with this or they just decided to randomly release a shitty cover?

  6. I watched the USTour section of the Rome DVD today. I miss Follow Me. I miss that stupid barrier walk. I miss the not Drones Era. :(

I am trying to stay away from the hype about this "project" but I have to admit the thought of leaving this wreck of a tour and album cycle behind, and moving on to something else excites me.

I actually have to agree, after the Drones tour/era was over I found myself realizing that I think the T2L was a better album and era in general... Supremacy > 3/4ths of Drones

  7. Just seen a transcription of an interview with some dude called Hans-Peter van Velthoven saying that some kind of DVD/film for this tour is coming out but it's gonna be that half tour doc/half gig thing they talked about doing for T2L. Not sure if it's old news? Seemed pretty new. I hadn't heard about it, anyway.

Was literally just about to ask if anyone has heard anything about the Drones Dvd, I'm definitely pumped to see that but how interesting is the tour doc side of it going to be? Them making setlists " okay tonight We'll do literally the same setlist as the past week but with United States of Eurasia"

  8. Animals. The guitar parts are brilliant.

In fact, The 2nd Law isn't as bad as I remembered it being. Some absolute belters on that album.

Literally came to this same conclusion this week. Had T2L playing in my car for the past week just because I'm tired of all the other albums at the moment and listen to t2l the least, rediscovered the awesomeness of Supremacy, probably my favorite at the moment. Never really gave Save me or Liquid State the time of day but they're actually not bad, liquid states a banger, wish I enjoyed it more when i saw them play it. Also Big Freeze >>>> F the haters
