gaunt to the point of emaciation, its desiccated skin pulled tautly over its bones. With its bones pushing out against its skin, its complexion the ash gray of death, and its eyes pushed back deep into their sockets, the Wendigo looked like a gaunt skeleton recently disinterred from the grave. What lips it had were tattered and bloody [....] Unclean and suffering from suppurations of the flesh, the Wendigo gave off a strange and eerie odor of decay and decomposition, of death and corruption.

  1. Allo there other northern Muser!

  2. the only negative beyond feeling good is that IT SET THE BAR TOO HIGH for future albums.
  3. I'd be up for that, as I loathe the current version. It and Supermassive make me gag the most.
  4. anniversary of the decline of muse. I should have had a moment of silence for the death of their ability to be consistently good. Probably their worst showing, although the Resistance is quite close.
  5. I have no feelings, I am a robot made of ICE AND WRATH
  6. good ol soppy drunken sentimental posting, haha.
  7. the only one that distresses me is Gemsy. She was pretty much the only reason I ended up continuing to post on this site as she welcomed me when I was new to the board and quite nervous. As a result of her kindness I have ended up interacting with many people I value, so I'd like to express thanks here. I hope your future is filled with amazing events, people, and healthy dogs. As a further note G unite, I did not delete you from my facebook, I just deleted my account. I imagine you didn't notice, but I figured I'd let you know nonetheless.
  8. I would take out Map of the Problematique and all would be well. Supermassive Black Hole was the beginning of the end.
  9. MOTP is actually my least favourite track that said though, I agree, Take a Bow is decent. It just looked better if I dismissed a chunk than get into exceptions. Overall I found the album only had one stand out track for me (Knights of Cydonia), then a couple ok ones, and a lot of awful ones. This was a huge change for me from their previous efforts. With Origin and Absolution I adored every song bar 1 or 2 at most, and while Showbiz had a lot of weak songs, the ones that were good were absolutely fantastic. The lack of quality in Black Holes was just unprecedented and thoroughly disappointing for me, I don't think I ever recovered from the disenchantment that took hold after hearing it.
  10. it is unlistenable up until track 7. not a strong showing at all.
  11. because you are one of the few able to properly evaluate Origin of Symmetry.
  12. I was definitely awe struck at how a band could manage to turn to shit from one amazing album (Absolution) to another (Black Holes and Revelations). So in that sense sure, it was awesome.
