FIUH! Just caught up on this thread from the last few pages haha. Ohhh yeaaay I thought I was gonna be the only one sitting high up on the balcony Mel and Joelyn, where are your seats? which section, etc? ehheh. and you know what? Despite the gig being a month away, i'm still a bit nervous because I HAVENT FOUND ACCOMMODATION YET OMG. Anyone got any cheap ones to recommend? Is staying along that Geylang/Gelang area safe? Because my friend and I found a few cheap hostels there but I dont know if its dangerous or not. We're gonna stay for 2 nights, on the 2nd and 3rd of Feb. Since this will be my first time to Singapore I wanted to stay longer and be a tourist ehheh! and I would love to meet up with some of you guys too! like while you PEN A/B people are lining up. Wow Tee how is Spain so far?! Learnt any Spanish yet? Seen any nom Spanish guys? On another note, I got a late birthday present from my friend from the UK. HE BOUGHT ME A MUSE POSTER!! The one with all the album/cd/single art in it ^_^ I love it so much, but I cant seem to find any wall space! I have a few posters, a bulletin board and my furniture taking up most of my wall space aiya how. Which also reminds me.... erm... I vaguely remember Aida buying me a Muse poster from the UK too? Paramore in Singapore, a month after Muse. I'm heartbroken because I know I wont be able to goo!!! :'( You know whats weird? I actually want to see Paramore not for them, but for Hayley Williams. I really like her! Not only is she erm, ahem, hot, but omg her voice is fantastic. I want to hear it liiiive ughhh. Seriously, I want to sing like her so much! She is my karaoke inspiration . No joke, my online friends, no joke. And yeah I'm busy working and holiday-ing at the same time. Its very tiring, because on my days off thats when i go out. aghh the fatigue is catching up I say! And about that 'fucking' thread? I read that thread all the time its actually pretty interesting ahah! I didnt know The Resistance was based on 1984.. I read in a book thread on the board a few days (maybe weeks, I seem to have lost track of time lately with the monotony in my life) ago and a lot of people said that 1984 was fantastic. However, I recently found out that I totally suck at reading classics. I bought 3 Austen books, tried reading Emma, read until like Chapter 4 and switched to reading Dead Until Dark (the book the TV Show TruBlood is based on) instead Epic fail la. But I shall try again once I'm done with Dead Until Dark!

Wow how epic was that riff!! ahaha, you could hear the crowd going "tudududududuudu dudududuudud" to the riff. I ALSO WANT. Seriously I hope to God and the Universe and everything that is Almighty that Muse play MK Ultra in Singapore. I MUST see that song live before I die.. ughhhhh and this, Liz, is why you must go for Muse!!! I wasnt prepared for that KOC nightmare at all tbh. I mean, i expected pushing but not from all directions! and I remember seeing a couple at the front with me at Muse, I dont mind the PDA haha, people dont usually pda in gigs compared to clubs. (ugh, people grinding and snogging their faces off in clubs are so.. unattractive lol) I remember at Muse, i could see the guys like trying their best to push the crowd back to protect their girls haha. to no avail though Well considering its already December.. its technically the end of the year right? I think worse comes to worst, by the end of December, the good tickets might all be gone leaving us with the 'far away' tickets. But thats like.. worst case senario la dont give up hope though! just get your ptptn and straight away get tickets haha

haha my only consolation for getting BALCONY seats is that... I .. can... see... EVERYTHING!!!! Like as if I have a bird's eye view or everything haha. If I had to choose though, without having money to worry about, I'd pick the moshy moshy tickets. No doubt about that. Then I'll tag along with you guys so that I can hopefully get to the front with you guys since you all are so 'talented' like that haha! Seriously man, its like a skill you need to be able to get to the front. A skill I dont have, because no matter how many gigs i've been to, I've never been to the front before. Not once. :'( But really though, the reason why people love to stand is becuase of the whole experience of just letting loose, shouting, screaming and singing with the band you love with people who love the band as much as you do that makes the moshpitt so worthwhile. at least, thats what its like for me anyway. the pushing and sweating is just a huge downer. but never mind! I get to see the big giant balloons (do they still use that? haha) and I get to watch Matt Chris and Dom prance around from afar and I can see the crowd shifting and moving as everyone forms a giant mosh pitt (remember the KL gig? KOC? that was insane!!) and I can see all the lights and actually listen to the band. ^_^ One question though, do people actually stand in their seats? Especially on the balcony.. would it be dangerous if I were to stand? haha. Because I definitely still want to jump and shout and woohoo at Muse and I know during Jason Mraz, NOBODY stood up at my seated area. I wanted to stand up, and I stood up for awhile but noone else stood up (not even my friends) so I felt awkward and went back to sit tak syok la. Grooaaar.

Thanks nut! and yeah, my friend and I booked our BNO tickets already. We got the balcony seats unfortunately, cause its the only one we can afford haha. OH WELL. I'd rather see Muse from afar than mingle with the Saosin/Rise Against fans in the mosh pitt. My life is as stake But now.. I have quite a dillemma. My sem only starts at the end of Feb, so I can actually stay in Singapore a while longer and be a tourist! since i have never been to singapore before hehe But omg, the accommodation prices is seriously suuuuch a bitch to my wallet/bank account. So I need help guys! Any cheap hostels/hotels? my friend said he found a hotel thats about RM100 per night per person for 4 people, and another hostel thats pretty cheap, but its bunk beds and a shared toilet. Is that pretty alright? I'm worried the toilets will be as filthy as hell, but then again Singapore is a pretty clean place right? But then again I've never been to Singapore before so what do i know? Opinions, guys? and about the RAH Undisclosed Desires vid, wooow Chrisssss! He sounds soooo good during that last chorus. Its like as if he's singing lead and Matt is singing back up! Awesome

I've decided not to quit my part-time job (despite how much I want to quit just so I can spend ample time with my friends who are back from Australia, who has tickets to BDO btw lucky or not? Kasabian and Muse all in one gig) just so I can have enough money for this trip lol! YES PEOPLE COUNT ME IN!!!!!!!!!!! well, me and my friend. so COUNT ME +1 INNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!! Rise Against and Saosin are apparently very "GROOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAR" kinda music. ie, heavy. Which is something I dont really enjoy tbh. So i have a feeling I'm gonna be getting the seated tickets instead. The last place I want to be in a heavy rock concert is in the mosh pit. I value my life! What about those of you who already bought/booked tickets? Which tickets did you get? Oh, and how's The Killers gig-planning going? @liz, kak faz and aida

@madraulix oh my god, mk ultra and cave :'( i'm so jealous!! I can imagine everyone's anticipation when the awesomeness that is the mk ultra riff comes on! I bet everyone was so pumped and the crowd went wild! @tee, omg you got to meet franz! you're so lucky! How did you even get backstage anyway? and how did you manage to squeeze to the front! lol I must learn your tricks ARGH i'm so angry at the singapore exchange rate now. whyyy so expensiiiive whyyyyyyyyy T_TI really want to go, I really do, and i'm quite willing to fork out RM300 for the $128 or $98 tickets but my friend isnt willing to do so!! There's no way I can go to singapore alone sigh I dunno what to do la. I really honestly doubt they'll come to malaysia (same for The killers too :'() and I really dont want to miss this chance to see them live again! seating, standing, i dont care, i want to go! And whats up with this Fragrance hotel place? haha. I googled em out of curiosity, they have soooo many branches around singapore! i dont even know where to start looking! aha. Exactly.. I've never spent over RM200 for a gig before. Not even Sunburst. Its really making me question whether Muse in Singapore is worth RM200 or not SIGH. And thats just for the seated tickets! :'( Nut, you've been to the Singapore Indoor Stadium before right? The $98/RM200+ tickets are at the balcony area apparently. is that very far or very high from the stage?

I've never stood at the utmost front of a concert before *noob* Ooh Miele I spotted that RM100 return flight to Singapore too! My friends and I wanted to take that but we're only gonna get it (if its still available) after BNO ticket prices are announced. I'm gonna save up lots now for this! haha. no more shopping. and have to cut down my budget for christmas shopping too

Yeah i'm pretty sure the 'rowdy crowd' at the Muse gig @ Fort Canning had something to do with their deadly hill. Maybe thats why it got so overcrowded and stuffy. I'm really really tempted to stand now haha! Any info on the ticket prices yet? SO PSYCHED FOR MUSE LA OMGG!! When I got a text from my friend today about Muse being confirmed, oh man I tried so hard to hold in my screams at work i just felt like I HAD to tell someone! But i doubt anyone at my work knows/cares about Muse ha Glad to hear about the non-rowdiness or boring-ness that is the Singaporean crowd haha. I actually thought they were .. you know, stuck to their stereotype and 'kiasu' about getting in front, hence rowdy? heh. Thats cause I started working already. Part time job at 1 utama, but then again its not really part time if its taking up all my time eh? eh? lol. I want to see AAR fly off at KLIA today, thats if they're leaving today. and I have no idea when they're leaving. I'm seriously such a n00b at this stalking business sigh!

I want to buy the DVD because in the two times I've seen (500) days, they censored a lot!! all the sweet kissing scenes like in ikea, and the whole 'penis' thing too. What's Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist about? is the dvd out yet? I stopped watching Heroes since Chapter 4. Fugitives just felt kinda boring to me. Is it still any good? I feel like Heroes have lost their charm Yeah I feel a very hiphop/r&b vibe from UD too, so maybe it'll be a single! Sorry to say but i have a feeling Resistance might be a single too! Since they played it live for the VMAs sorry kak faz. Its already kinda spoiled for me too cause my friend, who is like only into teeny bopper crap and stuff thats on the radio, LOOOOOOOOOOOOVES Resistance :'( Omg. They left February blank for Asia!! Or, you know, you could just beg him/her to have a nice dinner at chilli's or something, you drive straight to ou after class, you mia for 90 minutes, rock out to AAR, and then continue celebrating his/her 21st!
