a) Sorry if this is a lil personal, but do you have a budget in mind? Some hotels are pwopah awesome (like the Ritz, for example), but they're ridiculously overpriced/ expensive (most things here are, but oh wellz).

b) Particular star-rating? I dun wanna put you in a shoddy 2-star (not that I would, lol!) and leave you unhappy lolz.

c) Would you rather it be much closer to Wembers than Central London? It's probably cheaper nearer Wembley, as it's further out from the main town but 1) while Wembley is great for a gig or football match, it's not the nicest (or safest) of areas, haha and 2) it's about 30-40mins away from the main central areas of London. Still easy to get there on the tube, but just giving you all the deets

Okayy, now that I've got that spaff out of the way, I might as well continue the Muse-spaffery with the continuation of our RESISTANCE luvin'! Last time you told me what you think of Unnatural Selection, so I'm here to reciprocate, lol! Once again, you hit it on the head, Steph! Srsly, I feel like I'm literally just gonna echo what you said, 'cos it's spot on the mark! Ahh this song is incredible, right from the get-go! After that church organ intro, you're just slapped right into the amazing riffs, drums, beat, and as you say, you just can't help but bang your head along with it! And I air drum to everything, but this is the air-drumming choooooon, fosrs, haha! It all kicks off, and that first-half is like a surge of angsty energy that has you hooked, and then it flips 180 degrees to the breakdown, which is just so Intense and powerful... I love that juxtaposition! It reminds me of Citizen (as so many of us have pointed out)... but it's like the rebellious version... the one that gives a two-fingered salute, rather than a deep/dark study of self (bloody hell, Freud much?! lol)

And Yeahhh, as you say, the guitar and bass together is immense and the singing so heartfelt, you can't help but get shivers listening to Matt wail so strongly. He really seems to mean what he's saying and care about the cause, which just adds to this whole feeling of passionate protest that coats the entire album. And Bloody HELL, Steph, you've said it all for the end bit, too... after all the sheer emotion, you've got that perfectly fitting and awesome riff before you're rocked back into the angsty energy and bashing along with the beat. And that end RIFFAGE!!!! It doesn't get more than that.. fucking YES! You actually go a little bit insane listening to that! It's like the end of MK, it just peaks until it hits that crescendo and your hair is flying about everywhere while you 'mosh' as a party of one... or maybe that's just me, lolz !

But yeahhh, soz to just regurgitate everything you said, but I honestly agree with you for pretty much everything, song-wise on this album haha! There may be a few we won't completely agree on (GL might be one ), but I think we generally concur! 'Great minds...' and all that jazz, innit!?

Oooh drum kit! <33 I got a drum app on my iphone (I didn't pay for it, it's one of those free ones, lol) and I can drum along to Muse now haha... but it's actually really shitee cos a) you can't exactly use any pedals... you have to somehow use bass drum/hi-hat with your fingers, too and b) it's not the same as a real kit obvz! ... oh wells, glad I still have a real kit (however crap it is!). What sort of improvements you making? Can you play songs from TR? I'd love to see you play, if you ever upload to youtube *hint hint* hehe!

I like lots of other bands too, obv, but I don't listen to them nearly as much as these guys . My taste in bands is mixed... from indie to metal, but some of 'em are: Foos, QOTSA, Kasabian (early stuff), BIFFY, The Cribs, Radiohead, Nirvana, RATM, Chili Peppers, Fightstar, Korn, System of a Down, Slipknot. Oh man, personal statements are horrid! Lol soz, that doesn't make it sound any better for you... what courses/where are you applying (soz I'm nosey!) I can't remember as far back as my statement, (lol I feel old!) but it's useful to mention why you've an interest in the subject you're applying for, and give examples where you can. E.g. I applied for English Lit, so I referenced a few books that I enjoyed and mentioned what I looked forward to learning more about etc. I'm sure you've already been told half that stuff before, but if not, I hope it helps

The Resistance t-shirts can have their signature hexagonal stuff/rainbow colours with 'resistancey' lyrics? ... I dunno, I'm quite crap at stuff like this, lol.

I know, I bought the t-shirts that someone else made for messageboard users, lol... but that doesn't mean you can't give it a go, too! You could have t-shirts specific to the Stadium shows, maybe even a Wembley-only one.
