My thoughts are firstly that it's the first track in a long time that actually sounds like muse (reapers is great but doesnt sound like them iff you know what i mean), has a great dark sound that reminds me of absolution-era. Solid vocals, you can really tell Matt's voice has become a lot more controlled here. Lack of any overly cringe vocals as far as i can tell which is what kills psycho, mercy and reduces the quality of reapers.

Skull Candy are good? I've never tried them but always passed them off as bad! Fair enough.
I always thought the same, but one day my Shure ones broke and I was desperate for a quick fix, so bought the SC ones. I reckon they're just as good personally. Can't argue with the price!

I have a pair of Skull Candy in ear buds that are great! I'm a bit of a tone whore too but have no qualms about them. £10 from my local HMV and probably cheaper on Amazon
