Hat
Hi. I've been having trouble using the codes. I have tried in IE and Chrome, and have been unable to do it for a while. [media]http://www.youtube.com/watch#!v=VsQISnFx2sg Any ideas on what could be wrong? It has worked before with this computer and browser.
Deano88s
Replace "#!" in your link above with "?", it should work then I'll test it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VsQISnFx2sg EDIT: Yep...That is the problem, right? I'm wondering if you've just changed that to illustrate what you've tried or something now I've no idea why your link is like that though
Popey
The code also works if you use just the characters in the url after the equals sign.

Carbo
Exclamation mark shouldn't be there.
Hat
Exclamation mark shouldn't be there. But still, the link works for other people. And it still doesn't work. There's nothing wrong with the link, I can copy something that has worked for others, still doesn't work.

That link doesnt work for me, it just takes me to here: http://www.youtube.com/videos The first link from the OP does work but i guess it just won't embed using anything except just the question mark. Easiest way is probably the just use the code after the "=" in the URL, I didnt even know that worked until Popey said just now

I've never seen a link like the one you did in your first post though.

I'm sure I tried that before, but yeah that works It's the same with a lot of my links though, could it have something to do with my browser? kev
doh! yeah our youtube parsing was done prior to hash bangs becoming part of you tube urls (when did that happen anyway?) so they're not handled, i'll see if i can write something for it quickly
