The end of the free "pit" space? New concept...€$€$€?

"Enhanced Experience" marks the end of "the pit", a place where all the fans always meet?
I’ve been a Muse fan for 20 years already. Saturday we were in Cologne for my 21st time
and the third of my companion. I had paid about 200 euros for our two places planned in the pit.
But as we approached the pit, access was restricted to VIPs all over the stage and we had to place ourselves.

This is the first time I’ve been prevented from going anywhere I want to a Muse concert.

I don’t see why I should put about 700 euros for 2 to be right in front
the stage as at my 20 previous concerts I was able to attend in the past as at the presentation of absolution at the Ancienne Belgique in 2003 or
again on the first date of the Drones tour in Belfast among others.
Should I now instead seek and privilege this kind of concert launching a new album and thus continue to be in osmosis
with my group? With Muse or must I tell myself that it will never be like before, question of money, I find that it is
It’s not a great concept.

From now on I might as well take seats in stands that will cost significantly less at least I would know where I will be in the stadium or the room
and will be where I would like to be but I don’t know how I would experience it, where I will stay at home and make me feel like my era is over.
I really wonder and when I was told in Cologne at the entrance pit, this part is for the VIP and I had to take the other entrance I did not find this
normal especially when buying my places I was told entry pit and for me in the pit we go where we want and not behind other "privileged"

because there’s more money to put in a concert than me? They’re no more a fan than we are, though, they just have more money to put into an event.
I already have my "pit" places for Amsterdam next 12 September but while I usually look forward to it, currently I still remain puzzled
on where we’ll be there.
That said, I will always remain a fan but not at any price.

Je suis fan de Muse depuis une vingtaine d'années déjà. Samedi nous étions à Cologne pour ma 21ième fois

et la troisième de ma compagne. J'avais payé environ 200 euros pour nos deux places prévues en fosse.

Mais à l'approche de la fosse, l'accès était limité aux VIP sur tout le devant de la scène et nous avons du nous placer

à une bonne quinzaine de mètres derrière eux.

C'est la première fois que l'on m'empêchait d'aller où je voulais à un concert de Muse.

Je ne vois pas pourquoi je devrais mettre 700 euros environ pour 2 pour être juste devant

la scène comme à mes 20 concerts précédents auquel j'ai pu assister par le passé comme à la présentation d'Absolution à l'Ancienne Belgique en 2003 ou

encore à la première date de la tournée de Drones à Belfast entre autres.

Dois-je à présent plutôt rechercher et privilégier ce genre de concert lançant un nouvel album et ainsi pouvoir continuer d'être en osmose

avec mon groupe? Avec Muse ou dois-je me dire que cela ne sera jamais plus comme avant, question d'argent, je trouve que ce n'est

pas super comme concept.

Dorénavant autant prendre des places en tribunes qui couteront nettement moins cher au moins je saurais ou je serai dans le stade ou la salle

et serai ou je voudrais être mais je ne sais pas comment je le vivrais, où je resterai chez moi et me ferai une raison que mon ère est révolue.

Je m'interroge vraiment et quand on m'a dit à Cologne en entrée fosse, cette partie est pour les VIP et je devais prendre l'autre entrée je n'ai pas trouvé cela

normal surtout qu'en achetant mes places on m'avait dis entrée fosse et pour moi dans la fosse on va où l'on veut et pas derrière d'autres "privilégiés"

parce qu'il on plus d'argent à mettre dans un concert que moi? Ils ne sont pas plus fan que nous pourtant, ils ont juste plus d'argent à mettre dans un évènement.

J'ai déjà mes places "fosse" pour Amsterdam le 12 septembre prochain mais alors que je me réjouis d'habitude longtemps à l'avance, actuellement je reste encore perplexe

sur où nous serons là-bas.

Ceci dit je resterai toujours fan mais pas à n'importe quel prix.

The september gigs do not have early entry for the VIP packages, so you will be fine. 

Idk what happened at your gig in Cologne.  People with non-VIP tickets are allowed into the "golden circle" unless you got there so late that they ran out of room.
