BIG BROTHER IS WATCHING YOU!!

Ok, that's all I can say for now ... no wait, let me just add that Avatar is crazy awesome mind-boggling stuff, safe for the plotline perhaps, a little too predictable but great character development and the 3D effects are just delicious.

I'll reply to everyone later tonight :D

Uh, I'm so bored, sitting over here with nothing to do and can't do anything, I wouldn't mind if someone cut my neck so just that I'll have something to do ==.==

So borrrrring!!!!!!!

Oh, and if any of you are wondering why can't I find something to do it's because I'm working and my work is to promote and wait for people to make reservation with me for Christmas and New Year season. Everyone is too busy doing Christmas shopping T___T

:D I always go into Muse forum especially assignment time except when it's only 2-3 days to deadline. That is only when the inspiration to write will come to me

2-3 days I lagi visit the forum, actually lol.

Hi Liz!!! Haven't talk to you for a long time:D Looks like you are really busy on exams huh? Awww...... poor you. After exam you will feel better already. But right now it's, bring on the coffee and tea lol

What's your desk telephone number? I'll call you and we can talk there LOL. Or do they record the conversations? Hahaha imagine if we go:

"Hello, welcome to Westin (or was it Eastin? lol sorry I keep getting both of that confused :p ) Hotel!"

"Hi, may I ask if you have a special Muse suite?"

"Muse suite?"

"Yes, a suite filled with Muse-ic!"

"Oh, THAT suite! Why yes, we do! We even have the Uprising bears as wallpaper in that room."

"No kidding! Well does it come with Muse breakfast?"

"For sure! We even provide sunblock at the start of the day before you leave your suite in case you get sunburn-t walking under this Malaysian weather. There's also a special chauffeur service available for you, miss. He will escort you to the notable Ikan Bakar Bellamy for dinner which is located along Jalan Bellamy."

etc...

Can you tell that the exams have done something to my brain? :awesome:

Oh ya, by the way Liz, is the 3D worth it?

Yeaaahh I watched it Wednesday night, right after my final paper which ended at 7pm. I could've been a little tipsy when I watched Avatar, or perhaps it was all the brain power drained out from exams, but the first 5 minutes of the movie gave me a headache. Lol I think I was just extremely tired at that time, and I was expecting a laid back, easy going movie but BAMM! Avatar just wouldn't let you lie back for even a second! It's so insane to have anyone come up with a planet such as that. The whole "connection" talk was pretty impressive too. It's definitely worth whatever you'll be paying for. Just make sure you go in with a well rested mind ;)

--------------------

About 1984, I love all George Orwell books (which is not much). Well, perhaps not love, but I've always enjoyed reading his views and thoughts of a communism-filled society. My parents read Animal Farm as part of their literature programme back when they were in high school and they had that old book lying around in my house. I picked it up and it truly gave me a different perspective.

Over the study period, I picked up a lot of storybooks I usually wouldn't read. (I think I was procrastinating... I figured if I wasn't going to read my books, at least I'm reading something..) I read one Amy Tan book and that was so freakin' tragic. I love classics! Jane Austen's Persuasion would be my favourite I think, because the lead male's character is named Captain Wentworth lol :p Mr D'arcy is still the most delicious sounding character however.

---------------------

Ah and finally, I got my new time table, and it sucks that most of my classes will be in the middle of the week. Horrible, horrible timing. I would dearly love to skip two weeks' worth but I'm afraid if I do I most certainly will not be able to cope with the workload anymore. Actually even skipping 3 days for The Killers and Andrew Bird will already give me a massive warning from my tutors, but *shrugs* it's Brandon Flowers!! If it's two weeks and I say, "it's MUUUUSEEE!!" but my lecturers will not be as forgiving I think. Hurrrr. :'( Make sure you guys give us a minute by minute update!!! lol or maybe just a phonecall? Hehe.

:LOL: Actually 2-3 days is the time where I complete 80-90% of my assignment because before that I only manage to cover 10%(20 the most) because spend too much time procrasinating =P

Awww...... hehe....Usually after exam(especially morning exams) we will go out and party or jalan jalan to celebrate the end of the exam =D And usually it ends up with watching movie or makan only =P

Ohh.... Cool! Will watch Avatar in 3D then cause I check the ticket online and the difference between a normal one and a 3D one is just like 2, 3 ringgit, depending on which cinema you go to:erm: Still feel a bit sad though couldn't watch the premier =(((

On that final day of my exam, I was awake for more than 36 hours lol. It was a really really crazy night/morning :p Too bad it's not the last time though, there's still more papers to take next year. Sigh.

You can get the books in our library :) If you don't feel like buying 1984 (although I have to say, it's a good Muse-related investment lol) you can always borrow from TARC. Are they still charging ridiculous prices for alumni btw? Well, if the deposit's still really ridiculous, just let me know, I can borrow it for you for two weeks :)

Persuasion's about this girl who broke off her engagement with Captain Wentworth under the persuasion of her friends. A decade later he returns with a loadful of money but she's sure that he's moved on already. You know what happens next lol. Speaking of classics, I think Jane Eyre was a really good read too, although the age gap between the two lovers was boderline paedophile haha.

Nooo :'( I will not be able to go for BNO. Travelling twice to sg in 10 days would be a little time consuming and not environmental friendly so if I do intend to go, I would rather stay in sg for 10 days (perhaps even attending that rather interesting sounding jamming session the sg musers have planned ;) ) It will also be week 7-8 of my semester, and you know how busy we'll be with coursework/midterms during that time huurrr. So The Killers and Andrew Bird will have to be damn bloody awesome to make sure I don't get too hung up over missing Muse. Sigh. (Seems pretty unlikely though, I really wanna hear MK Ultra live!! :( )

Awww........ poor gal. Being awake for so long :( Wow... you can actually be awake for 36 hours? I would have pengsan by the time I reach 20 hours...! =.= Awww...... next year is next year's worry. Anyway, last minute study is the lifestyle of the college student. Last minute FTW :p

I'm assuming you guys with numbered seats can hang out with us free-standing-ers pre-show?

Ye lah watching The Killers is going to be awesome, too bad I'm not going :( If not can follow you all, stalk a guy HAHAHAHA. Right.:D

@Liz, Kudos to you for staying up for 36 HOURS to do something so exciting that is studying. OMG I'd just die. I haven't read the other books you guys mentioned. Not that I read much books to be honest. I read mostly geeky stuff like the Star Wars Expanded Universe and novels by this crazily awesome sci-fi author, Arthur C. Clarke. And I love Enid Blyton and Goosebumps.

Wow Enid Blyton's books were so good. I can't believe I've forgotten about her all these years.. I've always thought that the Famous Five is much better than the Secret Seven.

im a big fan of Muse and surely there are a gazzilion more here in KL, Malaysia. when MUSE came to Kl way back in 2007, the stadium was full..i mean literally cramped/full-house/sardine-canned..so i am really hoping that they could make a detour to Malaysia after the Hong kong concert as their next tour date to US of A is about 20 days away...i'm really hoping that MUSE could rock KL like they did a couple of years back. i'm speaking on behalf of the entire MUSE-FANatics all around Malaysia n Asia..pls do come...

Awww.... Faz, why can't you go? Take Air Asia and take MC for one day :p haha.... I am a bad influence.

Want to know something funny? (Wait, don't get too excited first. Read all i have to say first) I remember hearing in the radio a dj annouce that Muse will be in Malaysia in March and they are supporting or doing a contest for their tickets. I remember hearing it twice but the problem is at that time, I was sleeping while the radio is on. So right now I wasn't sure whether is it true or not.... I think I should be dreaming. and I remember thinking at that time, :erm: funny, Muse haven't annouce or officiate anything yet but the radio already annouce their concert in MArch :p LOL

 So Joelyn, how's the ticket buying going? Yay 1 more in the BNO gang!

HAven't bought it yet =P I think will buy it in January. Tunggu gaji keluar and when my boyfriend is free to bring me there to buy the ticket.... Hopefully the tickets aren't finished at that time. Ekkk!

Ya la, Faz. Don't give up yet. Maybe they are still discussing about the terms and condition for Malaysia concert and usually Malaysian concert is only annouce like 2 months before the concert date itself. Like Muse in 2007. ^^

I'm getting the cheapest ticket over there. Most probably the balconies one:p Because after converting the currency, I have to pay double the amount =(( On a tight budget =P

Enid Blyton's book is def good. And I only knew that Enid Blyton is actually a woman when I was 16 or 17 :p

They should but they seems to be focusing on America quite a lot:erm: Most probably because of Twilight, trying to grab the opportunity while it is there :) Can't blame them actually, I would be excited to see the type of new fans that I'm having.... BUt of course do hope they come to Malaysia and that will be 2 Muse concert for me:rolleyes::p:D

So I'm running late for class but...

I didn't spend 36 hours straight studying, I spent 36 hours after my exam partying  which included a night time screening of Avatar hence the crazy night/morning. I swear, the whole day after that movie I half expected larger versions of blue smurfs jumping out from the lalang/hedges.

Which channel were you listening to Joelyn? Had to do a quick google search for Muse's Malaysian gig in March (though only wishful thinking at this point lol) the only relevant page I could find was a facebook page asking for a Malaysian Muse 2010 date. Oh I hope it would be true!

I gotta go to Amcorp mall soon, I'm looking for old vinyls! I've also heard a lot about that welcome aquarium too

Yeah bought Andrew Bird + The Killers dy, but no Muse :( My course has shrunk significantly since three years ago.. lol so no chance of replacing. I talked to my lecturer earlier this week about my coursework dilemma (told him I had to be MIA for an urgent matter  ) he didn't seem very pleased, but agreed to let me bring forth my workload for ONE week (only, meh). I don't even know if I would be able to cope, but sigh there are little things in life that you should always appreciate (taking the cue from Zombieland)!

My Muse chapter hasn't closed yet, still under heavy dileberation because I have a few friends who can't make it unless I go too and I don't want to rob them of watching Muse live!

waaaaah so excited for you guys, bestnya tgk Killers ramai2! As always, do remember and report every detail ya?

For sho! Likewise you guys have to give detailed reports from the Muse gig! =D

We gotta address this to the concert promoters in Malaysia actually, to convince that bringing Muse over is a bloody good investment!

Enid Blyton's book is def good. And I only knew that Enid Blyton is actually a woman when I was 16 or 17 :p

I remember reading the BM version of Famous Five!! Wow, I wonder if they still have those. The Faraway Tree series would be my fav Enid Blyton story, I think... I thought the same too, and I was sceptical towards Road Dahl for months after finding out about Enid being a woman lol.

Oh, you'll be up for quite an adventure!! :D

Hmm, you could try Super Hub somewhere in Bugis/Arab St if you don't mind being crammed up for one night. The host there is insanely friendly and he'll even provide you with a map and exact directions (which bus to take etc) to anywhere in SG. It might not be advisable for light sleepers and claustrophobics but it's a pretty fair bargain for what you pay for, plus if you're a foreigner (yup, Malaysians included) you get a special price when you present your passport (the offer may have expired though...) Or you could stay up all night with other Musers, that's an option too :D

Was listening to fly fm at that time but as I've said, I was sleeping at that time :$ so high chances are I'm dreaming (and subconcious mind wanting Muse to come to Malaysia)

I haven't heard from Paul in ages :( have you? Well we could easily get the rumour mill running so perhaps the concert organizers would finally take action in order to book Muse before their competitors (within Msia) does! ;)
