Last week was possibly one of the worst week I ever faced (includes doing screwing up a certain test, losing a wallet with a lot of cash, and then finding my wallet again minus the cash, as well as a missing free Subway coupon) etc. Badd week. Putting all that behind though: Tee, that pic of Tim (along with Mr Gourcuff) :awesome: Faz, I don't think you should e-mail Hitz about Uprising. They do not deserve that kick ass song featured in their playlist within the likes of Jonas Bros etc. E-mail BFM (89.9) instead! Third Eye Blind is probably playing Semi-Charmed Life in Jakarta right now. Sigh! My friend's giving me invites to MTV Worldstage so that I won't be too upset over missing Mew and 3eb... I guess I'll be seeing you at Sunway, Debbie! Kasabiannn! I'm hoping that it would take less than two weeks (max) for the CD to reach our shores! I suggest we should start pestering people working at RockCorner/Victoria Music Station and ask them to speed up the process. One more thing to do in order to waste time online, ya? Yeahhh, I'm truly grateful that I managed to get my wallet back in the end... at least I don't have to spend more money renewing my IC/ID cards etc. If there's one thing I learned though, it's always important to leave your hp number in your wallet. My college ID happen to include my contact number and that was how the nice lady that found my wallet managed to get in touch with me! Confession time, I think inside this fragile heart of mine, I really do want to listen to Tyson Ritter crooning out to Swing Swing. That song brings back a lot of crazy memories... including one where my friends and I got a lil drunk in school (trust me, it wasn't the influence of alcohol...) and we started singing the BM version of Swing Swing.. We call it.. Goyang Goyang. If only I could get more tickets though, I think it would be a lot more fun if a whole group attend together! How did you get the tix btw? I saw another friend of mine in the video. At 2:03, that pretty chinese girl haha. She got featured a few times in the video too! suuuuuper lucky. Me? I was like at the 3rd row from the front at first, but when KoC, Hysteria and SMBH happened, I couldnt take the moshing la so my friends and I retreated to the back. At least you guys can hold on to dear life on the railings la, I was being pushed around literally in ALL DIRECTIONS by a sea of violent, sweaty, slippery people :'( Ala kak faz, dont have to be so shy! you should be proud la! I wish I was in that video you can show your grand kids how much of a hardcore gigger you were like that haha I didnt notice matt did all that funky guitar stuff until i saw that video. It's there on the official website's main page Damn, I really need to pre-order TR but how the hell am I supposed to do that, I don't have any money, no credit card, nothing. It's hard enough trying to convince my parents to use their credit cards, I might have a case though, my birthday's on Sept.13 and TR is out on Sept.14, so it would be like the coolest birthday present ever!!! Unfortunately that seemingly won't happen. I've just failed my Physics paper really badly (got like 17% LOL) which isn't going to help my cause too much But no, I won't just settle for buying from the music stores (doubt they would even have it on 14/9). I'm gonna get the CD/DVD no matter what, but first MUST figure out how to stop failing exams. Anyway, watched the SS in KL vid, damn makes me so envious of you guys who were there. Looked pretty brutal also in the mosh, with the RELA (?) security ppl guarding in front. Well I guess that's how it normally is at concerts, coz I've never actually been to a real one yet. Yeah i want to go for Bloc Party but I hope the tickets are affordable! No i paid for Keane myself this time. And boy what a bloody brilliant show it was! Tom Chaplin was awesome live! His singing was perfect. 20 songs and 1 & 1/2 hrs of soppy, melodramatic tunes!! LOVED IT. How to manage Bloc Party + Travis back to back?? OK, I'd like to update as well - for Kasabian!! I believe Deb/Liz could update on AAR Actually, I should really thank Faz & her fren (not on this board). I got my pass thru her Also, gotta thank all the AAR fans becos most of them left right after AAR's performance. So I got into the mosh pit for Kasabian!! Anyway, I thought the sound system was too loud, so it drowned down many of the electronica elements on Kasabian's set. But apart from that, I have no other complaints Trivia: tom meighan with new short crop & clean shaven image, a total contrast to the long hair/scruffy image on their new album cover. think he's become bulkier i also think that the guitarist, sergio pizzorno's become bulkier on one of the pictures, i accidentally caught tom, err stretching? SETLIST: Vlad The Impaler Underdog Empire Where Did All the Love Go? Shoot the Runner Fire (My fave) Club Foot LSF (Lost Souls Forever) with long na-na-na chorus Short set, only 8 songs.
