  1. Hmm! Are the machineheads and knobs legit? Maybe same manufacturer?
  2. Yes. On the fernandes the pickup becomes active since its wired through the circuit board. If it loses battery, the guitar dies No experience on the sustainiacs, but after what I´ve heard, the guitar still works after the battery is gone. Edit: The fernandes wont just die instantly. It slowly loses "sustainability?", and I just switch it whenever I feel that its become weaker.
  3. Just dont leave ur jack plugged into it. Whenever you stop playing unplug it. As long as it is plugged in the circuit is closed and it drains. When I got my first sustainer fitted in my guitar I just left the wireless pack on the strap plugged in. Drained over night
  4. I wonder if Matt eventually will go over to sustainiacs. I´ve had problems with my last 2 sustainers... James had similar with his as well. Maybe the new ones produced arent meeting the standard? Adrian said they´ve had consistant issues with them the last 3 years..
  5. Cool! You´re going with the std pickup? Also, if you went for a sustainac, would it be more expensive?
  6. Wow i just saw that my iphone wrote truebloodd.. Obviously ment royal blood
  7. Anyone know anything more about the "big" Cort/Trueblodd and next MBC which was mentioned in some french article? Looking forward to seeing another Cort, Manson collab. Keeping my deposit ready...
  8. Under 1000? Cort: 500 Sustainer: 400 Tuners + Alu: 200 Mbk2: 120 Shipping: 120 = 1340
  9. Yes mine does. But it also happens on all other kill switches I have/have had in my guitars. The sound is natural and occurs when the soundwave is cut down from an high amplitude to 0. Distorted settings overrun the pop, while when clean its more noticeable. Its very similar to the MBK-2. You wont need an MBK-2 for your use if you aren´t an experienced player; who perhaps will get more out of the versatility the MBK-2 offers. You know, it gets to a certain point at which everything sounds the same (ofc depending on your experience with pickups etc.)
  10. Yeah when I spoke to Adrian on the phone earlier this year he said "there is only two people I trust enough to let them work on these guitars" (referring to Tim and Rom I guess?). He was talking about customs and MAs though. Perhaps they´ve outsourced the MBCs to china
  11. Cool, its quite incredible, you have something to look forward to without a doubt. How did you get artist endorsement by the way? Just curious
  12. Any recommended profile/amp/fx settings on the kemper to achieve some MB tones?
  13. I have other "cheap" guitars around that price range (tele, lp, and strat) and the cort "feels" more solid and plays very well compared. The body is the best thing about the cort, solid, great resonance and sustain, great finish etc. while the neck has somewhat a weak fretjob, not great wood for the fingerboard, and the finish can feel somewhat "plasticy" in my opinion. Get a custom manson neck and you´re good to go
  14. Tbh. the cort is just wicked. Gave it a "first strum" and the crunch and sustain in it is just so awesome. It just rings and rings. The neck is very nice, needs some lemon love though but I like the gloss and shape. The pickup is good, its almost as if it was made specifically for crunchy tones. It doesen´t work that well for the heavy fuzz/supermassive tones because it doesent handle the lows that good in my opinion. Anyway, compared to my mansons it reaches high on the list, it feels like a manson and sounds like one as well. So for the love of god, please buy this guitar. Its a fucking psycho. Feeling for you DeLarge. #hendrixstyle?
