  1. I have other "cheap" guitars around that price range (tele, lp, and strat) and the cort "feels" more solid and plays very well compared. The body is the best thing about the cort, solid, great resonance and sustain, great finish etc. while the neck has somewhat a weak fretjob, not great wood for the fingerboard, and the finish can feel somewhat "plasticy" in my opinion. Get a custom manson neck and you´re good to go
  2. Tbh. the cort is just wicked. Gave it a "first strum" and the crunch and sustain in it is just so awesome. It just rings and rings. The neck is very nice, needs some lemon love though but I like the gloss and shape. The pickup is good, its almost as if it was made specifically for crunchy tones. It doesen´t work that well for the heavy fuzz/supermassive tones because it doesent handle the lows that good in my opinion. Anyway, compared to my mansons it reaches high on the list, it feels like a manson and sounds like one as well. So for the love of god, please buy this guitar. Its a fucking psycho. Feeling for you DeLarge. #hendrixstyle?
  3. Ill buy a kemper as soon as I´ve sold some stuffz... (still have that FF if anybody is interested). But how many profiles can you store directly on the kemper? How much space does 2000 profiles take.
  4. Well its 125 but excl. VAT its about 100. I guess the installation is included if you buy a Cort from them?
  5. Oh they were just 50, I thought they were 50 each. My bad. Makes that 0.5 MBK-2 then
  6. Hahahaha I just realized I could´ve traded my frikking knobs for an MBK-2 :facepalm: Knobs ftw tho
  7. I'm sure there are some kits you can buy which includes everything you can dream of, however I keep my maintenance kit quite simple: general maintenance: - screwdrivers both flat and star in different sizes (intonation, setup, assembly etc.) - umbraco keys, a keyring with many sizes (setup, floyd tune, height ajust etc.) - small hand drill, because why not (assembly etc.) - clippers, different sizes for strings etc. - soldering iron and tin as well as some kind of "holder" of mini stand? - some soft place to lay the guitar while working. e.g. my bed - a volt meter - string winder - a great tuner for intonation purposes - a pair of washed hands - brushes in different sizes - servisol super 10 (you know why) #MA-TV for guitar cosmetics and wood maintenance: - lots of cloth, preferably yellow with a gibson logo - lemon oil (gallons!) - finish cream for nitrocellulose finishes - metal cleaner I got a drawer full of this stuffzz, its gr88
  8. FFS my cort stuck in customs for A WEEK. Now its returned to ****** exeter and it has to be shipped again. FML. And yeah, my 2 MAs are returned as well.. so I might as well just die now. cya
  9. What? I didnt find the wooden pedal in the video. The one I was referring to was the one he is talking about here Is it the white one? He says: "You hear it? Sounds fucking amazing" "Its just DI"
  10. Indeed, if I had gone for the sustainer I would have to wait 6 weeks. I was also kinda unsure about spending the value of the Cort on it, so the decision was easy. No sustainer (only knob upgrade) and ship at once :-)
  11. A few days back I was told that if I wanted a 401 in the Cort I'd have to wait six weeks because they'd ran out of that specific type. Told me nothing about the sustainiac though .. However, I just decided to have some knobs thrown at it and now its on the plane! :D
  12. Will the case be simmilar to the clone? And by the way, can I somehow "pre-order" a finished pedal?
  13. I need a cheap way to record my bass, which can also be used to gig easily. I want decent tone and effects like fuzz/distortion etc. What do you think of the BOSS-ME20B?
  14. any thoughts on this ? http://www.andertons.co.uk/guitar-amp-instrument-wireless/pid37328/cid761/line-6-relay-g70-guitar-wireless-system.asp I think ill buy...
  15. Wat. Also, I recall an interview where Matt said that he liked to use the clean channel (on some amp) and then work from there with effects.
