it obviously has some parts of origin and a little showbiz aswell. I don't expect drones to blow my mind either but I can clearly enjoy everything I have heard so far. Maybe it is hard to really re invent yourself at that point of your career. They are great musicians though. I had a bigger problem to accept reapers since it sounded too much like ACDC at one point

BHaR perfectly fits into the place of the third great work of muse and to me it kinda still is old muse because it was during that era that they filled wembley. So it was the real big breakthrough album and perfect in what it did

more minimalistic but rooted on the other hand well I prefer the live version because matt's singing is more intense. Lots of generic parts with that somewhat special muse touch and the lyrics are nice aswell. Anyway I liked all songs of drones so far. Psycho and Dead Inside the best so far though

Seriously always when I hear a new song since I started to know this band ( a year before BHaR ) The new songs I got to listen to wear perfectly fitting my momentary mood........ I thought after getting out of beeing a teenager it would not be so huge anymore but it still is. Love Mercy good mix which kind of reminds me of bliss in a way something in between bliss, glorious and starlight

Which is perfectly showing so many relationships ending and man reacting but here he is doing something different he is also blaming himself and he is saying that he is dead inside aswell In IRL most man say that she made them dead inside. Huge difference after hours of listening to crying friends if you ask me.

Better go with Florence or Selah Sue for self therapy like messages

beeing worried about your own responsability is what dead inside is about and for example and Taylor Swift is blaming the outside world for decisions she claims to have made There is a psychological level that parts Matt and Taylor far from each other. At least Dead Inside describes beeing to pationately and you can interpret so much more into it. Take Abba and you have lyrics you can compare. Even I knew you were trouble is just a complaining about regrets and not really about self made decisions
