  1. I'm in DC right now! It's really great.

Yeah, but by the time it hit Oregon it was small enough to not hurt many people, as far as I know. Yeah America would not be able to deal with that either. Well actually I guess New Orleans was orderly after Katrina, even though the government took so long to do anything about it

That is quite the joke then! :awesome:. Still don't understand totally, but that's alright :D

    I think he'd forgive you ;)

  2. That's cool! If you ever get the chance you should go to the east coast! Especially New York

Thank goodness, because I know Oregon got hit by the tsunami. I think it was pretty small by the time it reached them though. I'm really glad they're all right. It makes me so sad to hear about all this :(

    :awesome:

I don't even get it . I took a physics class earlier this year but most of it went in one ear and out the other

    :D I'll keep trying!

Exo is really, really easy, besides the solo. The solo is actually the only reason I listen to that song at all. I always jump up and down during the intro to SMBH and always find myself headbanging, even though I'm playing guitar :$. It's so fun though, but whenever I screw up it makes me upset because it's like Muse screwing up :'(

  3. WAIT, I've also been to British Colombia. Have you ever been to the states? (Other than Oregon and Washington). Also were you guys damaged by the tsunami at all. Those poor people in Japan :(

Thank you! That makes me feel better

    No problem!

 That would have been pretty funny to hear. Lame jokes are my favorite

It's really annoying. I'll never be a musician I guess :supersad:

YES. I've got Knights of Cydonia (which came on the game), then I got a Muse track pack with Stockholm Syndrome, Exo-Politics and Supermassive Black Hole. I can beat Exo on hard, SMBH and SS on medium and KoC only on easy. It's fun though. Whenever I play I pretend I'm Matt and get really into it :$

  4. Yes, I think so. I want to go to the east though

Thanks! I got a little nervous and messed up a tad on the essay part, but I think I got back on track pretty well (hopefully)

    :chcukle: Good

Thats so awesome! I'm really happy for you . You guys rock!

It is a really funny picture. I've showed my sister some videos of Muse interviews and she always says she thinks Matt looks like a girl

I don't know if I'll be able to because I find it really hard to move my fingers independently of each other :$. I have Guitar Hero and I can't get past medium because of that

  5. No, we actually didn't drive that far, it just felt like a lot. We drove from Calgary to Lake Louise then to some other town that I can't remember the name of. It was so fun though, I want to go back

Yes, I feel really good now! It went pretty well I think. Thanks :)

 Tell me how that goes!

Good job! Ah that's so awesome, you must be so happy! 4th out of 56, that is really great Congrats again

:chuckle: I had no idea it was him. I guess I sort of see it though

Random thing, I'm trying to learn Knights of Cydonia on the guitar, which is a little hard since I can't read music. Right now I'm trying to learn the tabs and I've actually managed to learn a tiny bit of it. I find it hard to only strum one string at a time though . Oh well, hopefully I'll get it eventually

  6. I think I see what you're saying

AH. So close :chuckle:. Canada is so big. When we were there last summer I we drove for sever hours and then I looked at the map to see where we were and we were only like 1/6 of the way into Canada

I'm done with everything! Finally. :D. Thanks for your encouragement!

    Sports for the mind...:D.

Whoa that actually sounds pretty fun, and I don't even like physics. Especially the golf ball one. Also Quizzics is a very, very clever name . Well good luck! Or if it's over, how'd you do??

No way! Is that really him? I thought it was a girl :$:chuckle:

  7. He is

I think having a lot of knowledge in almost any topic is useful if you plan and using that knowledge in your career/future

We do have quite a few states, so that's understandable. Canada has 9 provinces? Or is it 11? I know generally where a few of them are...I think. Also you've got all those islands up north. Does anyone live there?

Yeah it's really sad. They've had a rough history. And the US certainly didn't help

Last. Day. I'm so close :). SAT won't be that bad hopefully

Physics Olympics! Awesome! We have something similar at our school that's called Science Olympiad. What kind of stuff do you do?

Random question: who is that in your profile picture thingy?

  8. It's my favorite activity :chuckle:

I know he's so gosh darn talented. I just said gosh darn...wow :embarrassed:

It's a lot of work but I love history so much! And politics and government and all that. As I'm sure you've picked up on by now

No, I have been there once though. We're going to Sarasota, which on the Gulf Coast. Now I'm assuming you know everything about American geography while I barely know anything about Canadian geography

    Mexico! That's so cool!

Yes, so so close. I have to take the SAT on Saturday though :(

  9. That's hilarious. My mom decided it would be a good idea to install a full length mirror in my room but so far all I've used it for is air guitaring/pianoing to Muse :D

The piano interlude thingy in Butterflies and Hurricanes amazing

Ohh okay. Yes I'm taking AP US History this year and next year I'm going to take AP European History and AP US Government and Politics, so that should be awesome!

Yep we're going to see some colleges in the Washington DC area then go down to Florida. You?

    Yay!

  10. I took guitar lessons for like 3 months when I was younger but I gave up. But now when I'm playing air guitar to Knights of Cydonia in front of my bathroom mirror (:$) I wish I had stuck with it. I also wish I knew how to play piano whenever I hear Hoodoo or anything else. And now theres not enough time

Do you have AP classes in Canada? I love history it's just so much. THREE DAYS. Our's is two weeks long. How long is yours?

  11. It's annoying and doesn't sound like Muse

    Thank you

Well it wont be the butt of my jokes. I respect it because I can't play an instruments at all :(

They're going all right. We have one project on the Rwandan Genocide and it's really confusing and stressful and blah. Also a essay about the depression, another project about the 20s, along with regular homework and tests. Oh well. Four days!

    Two weeks? :(

  12. Yeah those are good but I mean like Jimmy Kane isn't that great

    :) Thanks!

    :awesome:

I listened to Micro Cuts again and it is pretty good, but Screenager is still just eh. At least in my opinion.

Oh that's cool! What instrument do you play? I hopeless when it comes to anything musical. Except listening to Muse ;)

I've got a bunch of projects but it's our last week before spring break!

  13. Yeah, that's what I did I think. I don't listen to enough other music to be able to compare it to Muse :$

A couple of their older b-sides I guess I don't really care for but besides that there aren't really songs I don't like

:D don't worry about it. To each their own. I'm just too emotional

Well, I'd hope everyone would agree the Knights of Cydonia, Muscle Museum and Plug in Baby are a 10/10 :awesome:. So at least we agree on some stuff :)

I guess Micro Cuts should be at least a 7/10...the outro is so great. Blackout is a good song but it's just not my style I guess. It's great on HAARP though. Redemption is really good too but I don't listen to it enough

So what's going on in your life?

  14. I think you were a bit easier :chuckle: but probably because I was too hard. Because my list makes it seem like a really don't enjoy quite a few of their songs, which is totally untrue. There are only a few that I really don't like. Like just because I gave Exogenesis III a 6/10 doesn't mean I necessarily don't like it, it just means I'm less likely to choose to listen to it. If that makes sense

Anyway, I'm sad you gave Falling Away With You a 6/10 :(. That song's so powerful. It made me cry once after I got into a fight with this girl I really like

And I'm surprised you gave Falling Down a 10/10

There are several others I'll comment on later I guess :p

Thanks! I hope I can too

  15. I love them so much!

Didn't take all that long and it was fun to do! :D. If you have the time, I'd love to see your scores. And we could debate the songs

It went really, really well. There were a group of students from other schools that review different plays by highschools in the area who saw the show Saturday and their reviews were published today and all of them absolutely loved it! It made me so happy. Now apparently the director of our next school play (in April) is going to ask me to actually design the lightly scheme for that show. And I really want to but now I have tennis practice everyday after school so I would have almost no time for homework. Not sure what to do :erm:

  16. That is a really funny interview

So according to this it's Black Holes and Revelations, The Resistance, Origin of Symmetry, Absolution and then Showbiz

  17. Yeah they eventually end up on Earth in the Thames river in London

 Thanks! I hope you do

Yeah I think they did just have a big budget cut. It's important in the long term for sure and it's not like the money is gonna be used for anything worthwhile, knowing the US government. I really do hope they keep funding it at least a little

Don't worry I rant about stuff all the time too :chuckle:

    Thank you!

Just out of curiosity what's your favorite/least favorite Muse album?

  18. I really like it now too :D. The spaceship is really good looking :chuckle:

No problem! Glad you like it!

Post a picture when you get there! :chuckle: Maybe when if I'm in the senate in can appropriate more funding for NASA research :).

Yeah it went really, really well! All the actors we're on fire and I did pretty well on the spotlight too. My parents are coming tonight so hopefully it goes just as well!

  19. I love that video! They look so silly though :chuckle:. Did he really say that? I can imagine astronaut Dom

    Here's the sight: http://spaceflight.nasa.gov/home/index.html

I hope one day you do end up exploring Mars!

    :) Thank you!

He's a big football player guy too so it's even funnier

yeah I loved/love it. I'm sure you still did well!

  20. That's not childish! I think that'd be really cool. You could be just like Matt Dom and Chris in the Sing for Absolution video :chuckle:. Theres a website that tells you when a NASA shuttle will be flying any location and I always check it to see when it'll be flying over Saint Louis. It's just a small dot but it's really cool! I wish you luck!

I'm thinking I want to do something with politics or maybe be a lawyer. I love history and believe that the powers of the American government should be strictly controlled by the Constitution. I also think that America is on the path towards authoritarianism so maybe if I was a lawyer or politician I could stop it. That sounds silly too :$

Urinetown is so great. I hadn't seen Hairspray in any form before but it is a really great show. The guy in our production who plays John Travolta's part is so awesome! Thanks!

Whoa cool! I did karate (Chinese Kenpo) for awhile and now I do more simplified stuff-just punch and kick combinations. I do miss the cool moves though

  21. I know someone explained it to me at some point but I have a sucky memory :chuckle:. Yeah highscool in the US is only 9-12

I can tell :D. And I really like they're spacey sound too and how they use space as a metaphor for love/life/etc

Oh that makes sense! I was wondering where that came from

Thank you! :). Yep! We go the whole weekend. We did Urinetown last year! I wasn't involved at all but I saw it and loved it! This year we are doing Hairspray

I'm so glad! I'm sure you did well! What type of martial arts? I did karate for a few years

  22. Yeah, 9th grade is freshmen, 10th is sophomore, 11th is junior and 12th is senior. Not sure where they came up with those names though :wtf:

I do but I'm not like a diehard fan. I take it you are? :D

:awesome: I'll be sure to mention it to him!

Thank you! It went really, really well. Now we just have to hope we can keep it up for three more nights!

    Ah! Awesome! How'd it go??

  23. :D I understand what you mean

The previews made it look really good so I'll have to make time to see it

Forgive me and my cultural ignorance  delayed success? That's so funny :chuckle:

I know, oh well I'm sure I'll love it

My best friend love Naruto! I've never read it though. Oh well :p

It's our first show tonight! Wish us luck!

  24. Yes I hope so too :)

I don't mean like a specific show about it, but like passing references. But who knows I could have just totally made that up...I have a tendency to make things up without realizing it :LOL:

I meant the TV series but now that you mention it the movie too! They showed it on a plane I was on once...I have no idea why I didn't watch it

Yep! 11th grade. (I don't know if that's what it's called in Canada because I know in England it's something else)

    No :( I don't think it is

I over analyze stuff because of that though which is annoying something

  25. I hope so! I'll be in college then so it'll just depend on where I am

I haven't seen Fanboys but through other shows/movies I've come to realize that  I should watch Star Trek though, I'm sure I'd love it

I'm not bad at them, I just don't enjoy them like I do history

:D Well good luck! So are you in highschool then?

I really, really want to see it but I guess I'll have to wait till it's out on DVD now :( but when I do then sure!

What if...I love thinking about that :p
