  1. Hello you! Hehe! Cat naps are always nice!

Awww, your birthday sounds like a great time. Clothes are always nice. What did you get?

Wow. The weather there sounds beautiful. It's a bit warm here. I'd absolutely go for warm over cold any time.

  2. haha! I can so relate...it's happened too many times to even be funny. Well OK it is still really funny. :D

Though being curious and at times a bit lazy I experimented and found that if you press the back button on your browser the message is still there, some forums that does not happen on. BONUS! Also when logging in choosing keep me logged in or what ever the check box thingie says has helped with that.

What's shakin'? Are you recovered from the dentist? What else has been going on in your world?

I can completely relate to what you said about age, maturity and wisdom. And just wonder what is really normal in this world of ours? There seems to be a cultural normal in every home, city, state and country. They all differ a bit and it is interesting seeing the different beliefs of normal in action. And how "normal" effects a person sometimes keeping them from being who they are meant to be and from true connection. And how those that stay connected to their true self can at times become outsiders because of it. Though maturity usually happens as we add numbers to our years I've also seen it happen in reverse, the serious child that became the playful adult. By the way your personal hero sounds amazing and I would love to hear more.

Sorry for the multiple paragraphs, I'm trying to make these ramblings easier to read. :) Also I'm very sorry it took so long to respond. Please forgive.

Hmmmm.on me and my childhood. Hmmm. Well from an early age I was very independent and was pretty much on my own. My father was gone for long periods of time and my mother was in her early 20s and overwhelmed, poor woman! I was born in a beach town and my earliest memory is of being on a terry towel on the beach the sun kissing my back, the gentle roll of waves settling on sand, gulls calling out to one another and my wonder of what they were by the shadows cast in front of me. I was trying to turn over to see what they were but I was too young to be able to which frustrated me, so I cried out and my mom brought over a bowl of chopped up carrots. Umm...that's not what you meant by what was my childhood like though was it? I started out quiet, observant, creative and inquisitive as well as independent. I've enjoyed the opposite sex for as long as I can remember, and I've always tried to lighten up a heavy situation. When I was two my brother came in to the world and I was very protective of him. We pretty much self parented and moved around a bit in my early years we were lucky to live in a neighborhood with many children our own age. We would spend all our time out playing and exploring. I remember when we were going to be moving to the place that I would spend the rest of my school years at age 7 I planned a neighborhood circus, and everyone participated. It seemed cool at the time. I always wondered what it was like to have older sibs. :) I've always been into philosophy, science and unproven things as well as lightening situations up. I started reading Shakespeare and others that write vividly as well as about the unknown at about 7 or 8. I guess those are the basics and the running themes in my facets no matter how varied and random they may seem.

Haha! there is a forum that is my guilty pleasure...everyone is open minded and innteresting though it gets way out there. They discuss everything and anything. Everyone is down to earth and playful. It's pretty obscure which is nice. There is a perfect mix of people that are educated and work in the specific fields and those that are self educated, no egos and everyone speaks on the same level.

Haha! Agree on the MB thing, why would he? Do many people think this?

haha! Now I need proof of some of the things you do! I'm all over the place myself. I'm really into almost everything, I'll try almost anything once. I love experiencing the new, I enjoy creating in any form, classic cars, vintage clothing and items from the past (just imagining what it has seen and what it has experienced). I like to play, and flirt and be a girl. But can hang with the big boys too. I can be laid back or a whirlwind. Just taking off not knowing where I'm going but stopping at all the interesting places along the way and ending up where I end up. I love making people laugh in any way possible. Traveling, exploring, being outdoors, experiencing new people and cultures. Helping others become who they want to be, spreading the love. I am interested in just about everything and am comfortable in just about any environment so go with the flow unless something is very important to me then I will stand my ground. Not getting into specifics on any of this because what's the fun in that? There is quite a bit more...and a lot of contradictions too. But isn't that true about all of us. :)

OK this is a novel by now, sorry about that. Yes! I would love to see what you wrote. So PM them to me when you have the time. :)

  3. Hey! I hear you there! Have to love it....or not. ;p Can so relate, things have been busy as anything here. But in the best way possible. I am, thanks for asking. It just seems that sleep is something that needs to be put in life somewhere and recently I haven't found a place to put it. *laugh* What about you?

xD Your equivalent humor was exactly...like...precise. ;p Haha Uh oh, Catcher in the Rye. I was going to include a youtube link to the South Park Episode...but I guess youtube won't allow it. Poo! What's up with that I ask?

Aww...hehe glad to be the first, though surly there were many! Hmmm...well there are so many things to do on a birthday. Movies and dinner always work. Good call there. Also going somewhere or doing something you have always wanted to do but have yet to go/do always works well too. Or doing something you absolutely love doing. What would that be?

Ha! Woop! Keep on crushing on!

Woah! That is amazing! Thanks for forwarding that vid. he is something else!

HEHE look at you fainting and all!

Hope all is well. Enjoying the fantabulous weather?

  4. Hey you!!! :D

Are you easing into the new job? Still enjoying it? Have you gotten used to the early schedule? hehe...sounds like 20 questions time. But how are you otherwise?

I'm doing great thanks for asking! So so soooo busy, but in the best way possible. It's catching up to me today though. Drat love it when it does that. :)

  5. Ah! That does sound like fun, watching others get loopy can be the most enjoyable part. Sometimes when out and ordering the round I'll order it at the bar and ask the barkeep to make mine look like a drink so it doesn't become the topic of conversation, plus I don't need a drink to get goofy :D but it is so much better in the morning remembering it all with a clear head. Haha! Didn't think anything of the sort. I sadly haven't a judgmental bone in my body. Haha! Classic reply to you friend. I think people get better as the numbers go up! Well sometimes So much more wisdom and comfort with self. Your thoughts?

Exactly, though I'm not sure for me it is consuming though! Haha We sound alike in that respect. I usually have 20 windows open and am working on other things as well. Online committees? really? What are online committees? I stay away from the messengers though...well usually! I can turn you on to some of the forums that are very lively, and that have thought expanding conversations going on. If you would like. Just give me a subject or two. I remember you saying you met someone from here. I think it was at the event you bright your mo3 & cards to. ;) That is the wonder of the internet isn't it. Connecting others that may not have connected otherwise. I've met many a kindred soul on the net.

No worries, I check here regularly myself, and at times find myself keeping up on PMs more than posting on threads. There are so many good people here. :) Ha! This is true, anything online can be...well anything. Really? They think MB is on here under a pseudonym? That's funny! On the signature, I see where you are coming from it being part of the first impression "package" PR and all that. I deal with that so much IRL that I guess on the net I just want to meet others like me so am just me. The good, bad and the lovely...or not so much so. *grin* That way the people that are attracted to my personality can say hi and it also saves time weeding in and out people. But then again who I am today isn't me tomorrow... so confusing. ;P

haha! Forget long or short...just go with it! :D Ramble on. I got what you meant about exhausting your mind, I was slightly teasing you. ;P That is usually what happens with me as well. Or I won't want to miss a thing. For instance last night I took Holy Basil after sharing it with you. I fought sleep off for a while because there was something I was working on and didn't want to stop. Finally it won...slept like a baby for 10 hours. By the way Valerian is an other herb that will knock you out. Both are great because you are bright eyed and bushy tailed when you wake. :) You only need to caffeinate if you want to.

Rides FTW! Ah, a bike. Nice! What kind? Have to agree music and yoga are both good ways to clear the mind. A nice walk in nature works too for me. But with music just noodling around is connecting and clearing. Haha! Your dog loves to sing, always good to have a partner in music.

:D In conclusion! Classic. XD I agree, It's good to have met you. I'm sure we could have interesting discussions. Long posts are sooooo underrated. ;) I'm having a good time of it too, glad you are.

Thanks, will do. Have a mastermind tomorrow and breakfasting with my dad. Always good. Enjoy your weekend too. T

  6. On the insomnia, I agree that functioning on little sleep is a good thing. But I wish there were a way to exhaust my mind. It isn't possible.. There are so many ideas and possibilities that it jumps from one to the other. I'm glad that you can do that. :) I get slaphappy too especially on the 48+ hour days. Well I would say join the club...I may have earlier but then again I don't know if I would want to be a member of a club that would accept me! haha What about you?

Haha Brilliant, me think not! But thanks anyway. I can understand people completely immersed in Muse wanting to do everything on the Muse forum. But I refuse to let any one thing become a lot of me. My facets are many and I choose to be free. Sure I will dive into things till there is much known but I can't see living my life dedicated to only one thing.

Ha! Nice. Hmmm..the signature. It tells a bit about the person and it's a good conversation starter but I just am not that into them myself. Because what it can tell can be deceptive and just a fragment of a person. What they want you to see. IYour thoughts?

Today is amazing! Took a long drive (a favorite thing) enjoyed the view, energy and thoughts that bubbled up. What about you? What is your favorite way to clear the mind?

Which of the new vids? I've watched some vids but not sure which you are asking about.

Thanks! You too, how are the pain meds and antibiotics working? Are you going to enjoy the beauties of spring? I've been out and about and heading out again. Long roads unknown destination =bliss!

  7. Sorry to hear you are on antibiotics and infection. Pain reliever too? Sending healing thoughts.

You know I thought you were on the CA muser thread in banter. Two of us discussed our wakefulness for a bit a week or so ago. Ah! So you are one of the seemingly ever awake too. There are a few things that work sometimes. One is meditation, hypnosis has worked in the past. The night of the Hawking experience I was hoping being tipsy would help. :) An awesome thing that helps is Holy Basil. You take 30 drops in a glass of water and start reading and you don't even realize you've gone to sleep until morning. And the good thing with that is you sleep deeply.

At least there are people to assist. :) Sleep well. Haha! Puffy cheek poking is all the rage! Thank goodness you have pain relievers.

Oh funny! That's cool. I really have other forums that I talk science and philosophy on. This one is for having fun. Though I'll probably stop by and put my serious face on once and a while if you guys do put up a thread. Fight the good fight for philosophers everywhere. :)

  8. Aww! No I can absolutely relate. :)

Sorry to hear that you were feeling under the weather. Are you feeling any better? At least you got a few ideas and chuckles. *sends you a nice steaming bowl of chicken soup and a cup or tea* I hope your co-worker was feeling a bit better after talking with you. Haha! Thank goodness for mobile phones! Though they need to come up with longer life batteries now.

Haha, we're both talkers and thinkers I guess. So ramble on. It's enjoyable. I'm good thanks, I am still having trouble sleeping though...yay me! I was a bit useless that day, today I'm working on a project that is nearly finished. It's been a long process but it is good to see things coming together. :D Always well worth it.

Yes! I never thought I would say more rain! We can split our weather and it would probably be perfect. :)

Sounds good. How is it coming along?

Haha! Glad you enjoyed it. It seems that a few were not getting the humor in it. And the last I had checked the thread out it had dissolved into people teasing. When I saw it back at the top I thought they were still at it. Though going back through it I see that some interesting conversations started.

So the question is one that could go either way then? You never know!

Hope your day is going well!

  9. Hi!

How is the new job going?

  10. And a super early morning to you too!

Awww! When you have to go you have to go I guess. :D So you are up early. Can you send a little rain my way? It's a bit dry here at the moment. I'd love to take a bit of it.

So how close do you live to the Library? Woo! So far you have survived...I will hope for this trend to continue. ;) Your musing at work makes perfect sense now! Let's hope it takes them a long time to catch on that they will need to research. ;)

Ahhh...sorry to hear that. Do you think it could be because he was late or do you really not have much in common? What movie did you watch?

haha! I know my ears perked at being called a cheese burger...and I started to think all right! Original..is that like calling a tall person shorty or am I bringing the cheese? But when I asked "beg your pardon" and they said "I said cheeky bugger" It was still funny...dollface would have been better though. :) Wooo go you! Even if he is 70ish.

Ohhhh! Yes! You are an Orioner too! Our junior high school had a planetarium that my classes visited from third grade on. Orion has always been what I look for first. All is right with the world if Orion is in the sky. The night sky...or day sky for that matter has always held an interest.

What question? Are we supposed to ask questions? About what? What did you ask?

I hear you on the lyrics. Until they are settled in the mind there is no way anyone else is hearing them. Though there are people that collaborate. Team work and all that. ;)

*laugh* We're good at long posts aren't the two of us? Sounds interesting, just sit in the middle of the room and it'll be ace! Haha mp3 and poker what more could you ask for? Enjoy!

How was it by the way? I'm guessing it's the end of the day by the time you get this.

  11. Hey Julie,

Ahhh! Sooo? How did it go? Awww, no matter what you are going to be endearing. Clutsy and stupid can be so perfect with the right person! So no worries. When it's right it's right. :)

Ah but that is perfect scenario, that way you both don't over do it. All in moderation my friend...all in moderation. ;p

Nice! How did it turn out? Refining is the toughest part. Want an editor? hehe Kidding!

I did after the whole board pointed it out to me. I was a bit puzzled when someone posted TWITPIC...then the board explained it to me. I will catch on. *grin* Ha! Me too. Though It brings out my dark side.

Do you not have the net at home? Or do you just save Muse.mu for work fun? :)

Someone called me a cheeky bugger today...I thought they said cheese burger and had to look again. i thought Cheese Burger was unique.

I watched the stars, thanks to you! Played with friends and caught up on some things.

So about that date again? *grin*

    T

  12. Yes! That would be fantabulous! Dances to the Muse gods for that too.

How are things by the way?

I forgot to say Hi I'm Tonya. :) Great to meet you.

  13. Oh! Sounds good! Spring has sprung...but a bit to much. *laugh* It was 100 yesterday here. How about there?

  14. Hey you!

Yessssss! The cough is almost gone.

I remember you saying something about your tote bags. There are a lot of things to get ideas from. I bet you will come up with quite a few.

Haha! Have to love sisters. Hey make this for me...pretty please? Cool the McGuiver of the arts. Have to like that. Her blog is really cool. :) How is yours coming along?

Oh I have been messing around with setting up a couple of new blogs. But here are 2 of my myspace blogs. Since you asked. :)

http://www.myspace.com/flutterbyTonya the myspace stuff has to be updated. I started but then got distracted. Yay me....or not. haha

Another that is along the same lines is: http://www.myspace.com/amazingaweinspiringworld

I'm going to try to keep these going but I'm working on a couple of other new ones that will combine different things. One will be goofy me and the other will be serious me. And maybe one on life purpose self actualization.

The website you found is amazing! The stuffed animals are so adorable. They are fanciful! they remind me of old tin type photos in children's books.

I'd love to see what you are working on.

How has your week been? Did you get back to the book store?

    talk soon.

    Night night!

  15. No apologies needed. :) Though I am sorry it's taken a while. Life just kind of flies by! I always think there is more time than there actually is.

Ahhh! I hear you. But see it leaves you open to do things like driving out to farm fields and watch the stars and think about it all. :) So...was it the get dating again or get different friends? ;)

I've become way too comfortable in my singleness. When ever anyone expresses interest I ignore the signs and enjoy them as a friend...sadly my feelings haven't blossomed any further than that with any so far. :( Just waiting for that spark I guess. *laugh*

How was the rest of your week?

    Any plans for the weekend?

  16. Hello you! *smile*

Did your day end the way it began? I hope it was fairly quiet.

Your weekend sounds amazing! Did you see and wish on any shooting stars? Living where I am I have to say the thing I miss the most (well except for a lovely large body of water) is looking up at an electric sky from a bed of soft cool grass. Memory lane brings pangs at the moment...probably because I haven't spent much time lately there. I'd love to hear about your walk down memory lane. :)

Tweeting can be addicting for sure! So can this forum, and...and...and *laugh*. I hear you. But you've reminded me that I've not twittered in a long time. Time to tweet!

Hurrah! I fully back no fines day. :) It was amazing out today. It's been beautiful for the past few days it seems. Were you able to enjoy the weather a bit? I hope so.

There is a soft breeze coming in from the window. It is so faint it is only detected by a light caress to the skin. Lovely! It's been a wonderful day, though it seems that I spent a bit of it on here. *laugh*

How was the rest of your day?

    T

  17. Yep, there is a chat. It's pretty fun really. I found it my first day on here. I like exploring a bit. :) On the part of the main board page where you can see who is online there is a little place right below it that says who's in chat or something like that. You just click there I think...haha I can't exactly remember though.

You were at that show? Lucky pup! :) I hear it had a brill set list! Me too! I just wish I hadn't given my GA tix to friends now. Everyone keeps on going on about Matt's eyes and I have no clue.

I was determined to not even look into the guys in the band because I don't like crushing on people that I don't know but one of the boardies linked a couple of vids that made me laugh and drat brought about an inkling of interest. Now I'm fighting it. *laugh* Silly me!

I'm so so soooo excited for September, and more so with each new person I meet. :)

it's infectious in the best way possible!

  18. Yummm! Pizza! What kind? Sounds good. I'm picturing outside dining with vine covered arbors and a light breeze. :)

I had tacos or a taco really. *grin* I had a fantastic weekend! Well it was good at least *lopsided grin*

I went light hiking, and swimming then some other stuff that I won't bore you with.

    Yay for Spring!

  19. Hello again

Exactly! :D It looks pretty amazing. It will be great to see how it turns out even if the shores of the US won't see it. I think we just need to dance a little harder *grin*

  20. Ha! Me too! *big grin*

Yep on the DL all the way, otherwise it won't be a surprise. I'm going to brainstorm too. It has to be epic and completely fresh. There are a couple of other people that are interested. Maybe we should do a chat session brainstorm. For me it always works best when you are bouncing ideas off of others or someone comes up with an idea that can be built on.

Maybe something completely Non-Musish Or related in a completely random tangent. hehe

    What do you think?

BTW. does the Myspace concert start at 12:01 am? For some reason I thought it was noon. Hehe!

  21. Hi Shelbi. I'm Tonya. :)

I'm sure we can come up with something epic to start off this part of the tour with a bang. :) And keep it on the down low so that it is a complete surprise. :)

  22. Haha! Today was fun. It's great to meet you. *smile*

  23. Hi! Glad someone else is doing the appease the Muse gods dance with me. :) that stage looks amazing.

Though I would be happy to see the Spring set up again because I wasn't able to get the full effect last time.

    Hi by the way! :)

  24. Hey. Cool. How is the book? You play the Bass. Upright or guitar? Nice! I have a guitar some odd percussion thingies and stuff. I just noodle around a bit. Well at least you can play it.

So you like the people and everything at your job? Wheew! So far so good then.

hehe! I wish you were coming to the San Diego gig. It would be great to meet you. :)

It was good, but now I'm itching to pick up my guitar after reading this! :)

I did a bit of light hiking, swimming/sunning/reading/writing, had a mastermind meeting on Saturday. It is every other Saturday and I call it my lost Saturday because it is meant to be an hour thing but it stretches into 6 hours then dinner and we close out where ever we end up and then talk till early in the morning. It is such a blast. When you find people that are that much alike, you know that there is a divine plan and that if you go with the flow you will end up where you are meant to be. hehe!

have an amazing 2nd day at work! I know you will . :)

    Details. *grin*

  25. hahahaha! Really you're not? Let's see..... ;P

hahah silly! Just teasing, I know you are not a stranger! ;D

How are you? What's going on in your world?
