  1. Hahaha, only if you do it well. Like Julian Casablancas of The Strokes. Ace, man, he sand the Thundercats theme song! MIA was just a trainwreck. Her dancing was terrible and horrific, her phone kept going off in her pocket, she kept saying "Hello DC!" when we were in Maryland... I can go on and on about how shit she is. The 2nd worst act I've ever seen, and the first one was this guy who opened for La Roux who basically sang along to an iPod with a continuous beat for 30 minutes and rolled around the floor and shit. I doubt anything will beat that, it was so horrific I had to turn away...
  2. I went to see MIA because it was at a free music festival. She also pissed me off by coming on 30 minutes late, making me miss part of LCD Soundsystem. Let's just be happy Muse aren't drunk idiot like her.
  3. Didn't know what to expect? No, she just really sucked. I mean, I like Sleigh Bells and such, and that's more of a good wall of noise. In MIA's case, it's bad. I listen to a lot of stuff and go to a lot of shows, trust me, MIA just sucks.
  4. Oh, do NOT compare Muse to MIA. I had to leave MIA's show I saw in September, it was THAT bad. Absolutely horrific trainwreck. One of the worst live shows I've ever seen, and I go to a lot of shows... like you know how everyone complains about the bass of The Big Pink? It's a million times worse, besides just being pure shit. Her texting kept going off too!
  5. Yeah, that's really nothing. They can be super harsh though. Like I've been cursed out... just lurk for awhile I guess. They're notoriously mean amongst music people. And yeah, Civil Twilight rocks.
  6. Because it's fun to talk shit, especially since these people really do know what they're talking about so I learn a lot about music. Now when I go to say, the Coachella forums, they are boring in comparison. The absolute brutalness gets kind of addicting. Am I addicted to message board hatesex?
  7. It didn't at all actually... I absolutely loved the show every time. I'm really depressed it's all over. And to be fair, I put all my money and efforts towards going to all those gigs. I feel like when you spend that much money to attend a ton of gigs, it's a bit of rightful criticism that it's like, ok, so I have to spend an even more ridiculous sum to go to Asia or Australia or South America to get real rarities?
