  1. I won't be surprised if they end up playing some super rare b-sides/deep cuts for the gig, but the pro-shots end up axed from the final cut because the band "didn't think the performace was good enough" or "wanted those songs to be special for only those in attendance".
  2. You're right not to. Remember the announcement saying you could watch Muse's Reading 2011 performance on BBC3, yet mysteriously there were eight songs missing in the broadcast?
  3. Loge and Terrace is where the Muser party is going to be at. Matt knows that we like to party in the back (as evidenced in HAARP).
  4. According to the interactive ticket seat map LiveNation has on the page now (too late), there's still some Loge and Terrace going for face value Lawn people.
  5. Just realized … this is going to be my 9th time seeing Muse. When the US arena tour starts, I'll be entering the double digits.
  6. Loge 4, Row SS, Seat 427. I'm taking it as a sign. The gig was announced on 4/27 and they're most surely going to play Stockholm Syndrome. (Yes, I'm stretching but it must have been some freaking divine intervention to get me that ticket. ) This is the second (or is it third now?) time I've gifted myself Muse tickets for my birthday (which was 4/28).
  7. I forgot how this all feels. The nerves the night before. Making sure to be logged in before the sale starts. The rush to refresh once the sale opens. The sinking disappointment of not finding a ticket. The frantic search to find one. Wanting to give up. Keeping on looking just in case something pops up. Then … that magic moment. You've got one. Trying to keep calm while filling in the details. Waiting for the order confirmation and the elation that comes once you get it. The butterflies in my stomach are flying so freaking high right now. I almost feel like I need to a bit, but not really.
  8. I'll keep at it. Something's gotta give.
  9. I keep searching, even using Best Available, and keep getting squat.
  10. Why did it have to error out for me? :'(
  11. Didn't think getting 1 ticket would be this hard. *keeps trying in vain*
  12. Yep. Signed in to Ticketmaster. Got re-directed and everything.
  13. Goddamn LiveNation errors! I had a ticket but they wouldn't let me buy.
  14. Nothing yet. Had a Loge ticket, but LiveNation gave me an error. Got a Terrace ticket, error again. I don't think I'm going to get a ticket.
  15. Got in right at 12. My 1 minute wait has become 5. *stressed*
  16. A countdown clock has started on Live Nation. Good luck in the sale everyone. Hope everybody who wants to go gets a ticket for their preferred area.
  17. I don't really give two shits about the setlist. It's been two years and I want to see and listen to some live Muse in person. I'm excited to hear Psycho and Dead Inside (and Reapers?) live for the first time even if the rest of the set is the standards (which are still fun live). Also excited to see Florence for the first time. And Panic! for the second time at a festival and Death Cab for the first time. Going to have to form opinions on the others.
  18. I feel the ticket buying nerves building. Haven't felt those in a while. I also just got to thinking how it would be my luck to score a ticket to this, only for Muse to turn around and announce a show up here in S.F. at the Bill Graham Civic or The Fillmore or in Oakland at the Fox Theater sometime next week.
  19. For SoCal residents: Is the Weenie Roast line-up usually announced this close to the gig? It just kind of feels short notice for tickets compared to something like Live 105.3's BFD which has been announced for (feels like) months.
  20. We're Musers getting excited about a gig and are anxious about scoring tickets, figuring out costs and transport, etc. I think we're all jaded from our previous experiences, but we keep coming back time and again. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UPw-3e_pzqU If I do end up getting a ticket and going to this it will be 2 years, 3 and a half months since I last saw Muse in concert.
  21. Correction: jaded southern Cali folks. I've not been to this venue before and thanks to the pic Jessica posted I'm tempted to try for something between the lawn and the pit since it seems you can get a good view from the seats. $100+ isn't such a bad price considering that, on that line-up, I listen to Muse, Florence, Panic! and Death Cab with semi-regularity. So for just those 4, it breaks down to about $25 per act. Plus there's the other bands that I like the couple songs of theirs that get played on Live 105.3, so the rest of the cost is getting to hear those songs (and get exposed to more).
  22. If only BFD had Muse and Florence on the bill. I'm assuming since the Weenie Roast is at an amphitheater that there will be only the one stage compared to BFD having multiple stages. I would be gutted if there were a time conflict with Muse and Florence. (Yes, I seem to be harping on about those two because so far this year those are the only two whose albums I'm looking forward to. And they both come out within a week of each other. Can't wait for June.)
