Guiding Light is a good song, its just a lot of people on these forums aren't into power ballad-like stuff and so don't like it.
it's true, power ballads are like the music i like least i think
the only time they're remotely good is when you're drunk and everything else seems too complex -

Kasabian haven't made a consistent album at all yet imo.
There's good songs on all three and some awful ones as well.
They're a better of a one-trick pony. They've not changed their sound at all. They just happen to be good at coming up with Oasis-esque anthems.
true.. pretty like hit and miss albums.. the same as muse recently
but at least they realise what they do well..

Don't you know? Muse are obviously the only band in the world that would become boring if they stayed with one sound for more than one album. Or, now it's not even one whole album anymore.

My opinion is based on their last two albums, and their singles. I don't think Muse will ever be as good as what they were, but that is just my personal opinion as my music taste doesn't stretch to what Muse have created in the last few years! You can't say that just because people don't like new Muse and the direction they are going in they are "special." And I don't want another OoS or Absolution, because that would just be pointless and boring, and because of that, I know that no matter what Muse do now, I probably won't like it, as I haven't liked the majority of the new material, and they have developed in a way that I don't really rate.
Also, this is a thread of controversial opinions, so if anyone else complains about the apparent "hate" for Muse, they are probably in the wrong place. Just saying...

so the moaning about TR is pretty justified, they've been not too good for 6 years now

perhaps i'm not appreciating it on some other level but i loved it after 'bout two listens..edit- i have something actually to do with muse to say as well..
muse and radiohead have differentiated in many ways, one being that bellamy's voice has gotten worse and yorke's voice has possibly gotten better
(as far as i can see [not very far])

You've got taste in music! I like the HOTRS cover as well, actually the Muse version is the only one I like.

i really REALLY don't understand how TR sold so many copies, i mean i know it's extra poppy but it's just... not that good, how could so many people actually like it enough to not just download it illegally..
