0_o you have universities in America, don't you? Yeah, I guess it's a type of college
Yeah, the GCSEs are the way to get to A-Levels, to get to University, to get your degree.
WOAH. 14-15?! We have to wait until we're 17, then we can start to learn. Otherwise, you can't do anything It's why 16 is a really frustrating age Although, 3 months before your 17th birthday, you can apply for a provisional license, where you can drive with an adult with you. But even that costs £50
Everything here is way more expensive than everything over there
I think I can legally smoke, though...whoopie. You can't smoke in any public places like shops, pubs, restaurants, bars, even football stadiums I'm sick and tired of suffocating whilst out..anywhere.
You can drink at any age, on private property, like in your house, but you have to be 18 before you can buy it yourself.
lol when I came back from 3 weeks in Vancouver, I was so confused. I was like woah, you're on the wrong side of the road

lol s'alright, I'm just as intrigued about your education system.
Our Uni (University) is your equivalent to your college. lol I've always wondered what your college actually meant
And yeah, it did make sense
Oh.. choice Uni I meant do you have a choice between Uni and college..
GCSE exams are compulsary for everyone in the country Um...lol I don't know how to explain them They're a qualification that you can get A-stars (A*), As, Bs, Cs, Ds and all the way to G I think. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gcse
Sixth Form College is for people only aged 16-18 (Years 12-13) and Yr 12-13 has to do their A-Levels before you go to university, to get your degree.
We also had to do SATs in yr 9, but thats not important..
Sixth form means you have more privilages...for example, you can go out for your lunch and you get lessons where you don't have a lesson, you can just sit there listening to music *ahem* or you can actually use the extra time for learning and studying for your subjects. Of course, people in 6th form college only have a few lessons a week so they have A LOT of free time
Any other questions? I'm happy to answer any
How old do you have to be to drive there?

No, we don't have year 14. Um...well basically, seconday school (11-18 yr olds) have Years 7 to 13. However, when you have done your GCSE exams (I did them last year) you can either carry on in your school's Sixth Form (years 12-13), you can go to a Sixth Form College, or you escape the education system completely and go and get a job.
After those two years of Sixth Form (I'm in the first), you can either go off to University, have a gap year (working and saving up for Uni in a years time) or you can just go off and get a job.
So what do you call college?
lol your system is so confusing
I've lived in the same house too
Is college fun?
...Wait, do you have a choice-Uni or college? Or is it the same thing?

ps hope it made sense

Um...we have Years, instead of Grades...I'm in Year 12...which makes that...um...*checks wikipedia*
I would be in eleventh grade. Which makes me a Junior? What does that mean?
And yeah, well I was born in Essex, which is kind of near London, but basically, I've lived in Liverpool my whole life. Have you always lived in Minnesota?
