I think that's only partially true. If tickets had a name on it and all venues required ID then that would alleviate the problem. Of course promotors would need to implement a method of sending tickets back / re-allocating / putting them back on sale. Honestly this is the 21st century; why are venues/promotors so bloody backwards.
Also did anyone see the fan interview Trent Reznor did with nin.com/echoingthesound. He revealed details about tout sites (a la seatwave.com or the US equivalent); where a certain proportion of the good seats are reserved or sold off to those agencies, with the promotor/band/record company profiiting. Hoping Muse don't partake in said activities.
