  1. I really didn't get why people were yelling for Assassin.
  2. I'd probably say blah blah car is your best hope!
  3. I love how they've done the band colour. Could stroll right in with green at 7.30
  4. I like that the coloured wristbands mean you can get back into your part of the queue later. Although I'll probably swan in just before 8.
  5. There's about 80 people here now. It's a sign given I'm unemployed and staying in chalk farm.
  6. How was Arcade Fire Michelle? Was considering to go see them here but at £45 I just can't justify it. I would only probably pay £30+ for The National. Actually considering flying to Dublin to see them the weekend before my 30th birthday. Is this the first BDO you've missed Richard?
  7. When I saw Wicked in London, it was ruined by this guy who had taken his 5 year old kid who kept saying he was bored and kicking the seat. Why the fuck you'd take a kid that age to a show that finishes at 10pm at night I do not know. Also, why you wouldn't let...he just kept telling the kid to shut up. Hope you are now set up in the new place!
  8. I always remember Matt saying to me in 2004 about how much money they lost on bringing the show to NZ but they wanted to do it anyway. I hope they still feel like that again for you guys. Hope everyone in Welly is not feeling too on edge!
  9. Makes me think of when I call places and get voice recognition things. I always get awkward - like I think people will notice me saying weird things but then how is anyone else in my office going to know I'm not talking to a real person? I guess it's because the voice recognition never understands my kiwi accent and I just keep repeating the same thing over and over to "sorry, i don't understand"
  10. You're welcome. Can't wait to see them in July. I'm really enjoying two Aussie bands at the moment too - one called Yesyou and the other called Northeast House Party. I am so sure that their single Stand Tall was playing in NZ when I was there as I have definitely heard it before.
  11. I say go for it. Change is good. My flat currently, my room is huge and the location is fantastic and best of all it's cheap - but I'm still going to move out in July to pay more somewhere else, in a probably less desirable area but the upsides is living with just one other person that I actually like. I can't wait to be able to hang my towels in the bathroom again.
