Ah jetlag my friend...up at 3am unsure if I am hungry or my tummy just hurts. Also, so not fun to miss my connection in Dubai even if I got a hotel for 5 hours. I reckon if I could always fly long haul business class I wouldn't hate it as much.

You'll be fine in a week! Not much you can do really...not looking forward to it next week myself as I go straight back to work less than 24 hours after I get back. My best jetlag preventer was getting drunk in the business class lounge on the A380 then passing out in bed as soon as I got in but bit late to try that one.

Just going from late 20s in Coromandel to mid 10s in rainy Wellington is bad enough. Snoew forecast for my return to London too.

Merry Chrustmas everyone. Invers has put on a crazy sunny day - 25 degrees right now. Already had a game of backyard cricket, tipped two beers on myself & had an afternoon nap fuelled by Moet.

I played my Mum Madness and Panic Station in the car I'm using here (I even had to buy a cassette adapter), she thought I was crazy but it is definitely a driving album.

The nights other than Monday night have been so chilly here! Monday it was 31 degrees, 20 at midnight then come 7am it was 13 degrees and only got to about 16 all day. It's so strange! Invercargill today, probably will be it's hottest day all year at 26!

Sorry I thought I replied to this - probably my lousy phone browser. Â I am just coming back for 5 weeks. I managed to convince my company to give me a laptop and let me take 2 weeks of unpaid leave. It was basically a "I need to go home for Christmas and if you don't let me I quit" which thankfully worked in my favour.

I saw it last night Unsustainable is terrible live...it's funny going to foreign countries to see Muse play as the fans/concert goers all have their little quirks. I think everyone was smoking weed and doing Final Countdown singstar type singalongs to most of the songs. I side-eyed a few songs and I am definitely glad I never shelled out for a gig on the Resistance tour. Spain got so excited for Starlight and then stood still pretty much for the whole of Survival while I hammed it up way too much. I did love the feelings of past during Hysteria, Time is Running Out, Plug in Baby (those last two songs I must jump for no matter how much my legs object), that feeling of old that seeing Muse live used to bring. Some 2nd law songs definitely sound better live, Follow Me and Liquid State (so glad there was no Save Me) and Madness was so intense at the end, with the sparkly lights and just going crazy. They also flashed up in the lyric video in the "what you mean" and changed mean to "weed". Thankfully the Spanish aren't crazy so I made it home from Madrid without injury. I better fucking get Stockholm and Map on Friday!

Playing Host is crazy. I now still have hope that I might see Showbiz. I was looking at the Auckland 2004 St James setlist, that was pretty awesome. Hysteria New Born The Small Print Dead Star Citizen Erased Muscle Museum Ruled by Secrecy Sunburn Butterflies & Hurricanes Bliss Time Is Running Out Plug In Baby Encore: Apocalypse Please Stockholm Syndrome Is the St James still just fire damaged and fucked?
