Would anyone that already has it be kind enough to upload this somewhere?
Kthxbye
-
Bump for this.
Hope it gets a lot of boardies completing it!
-
I suppose I will, but I do continue to believe that B&H deserves to have it's own slot in the poll.
Ask a mod to edit the poll and stick B+H in if you want
-
All I'm saying is that if you're going to include Hoodoo, which may be performed live on piano but is mainly guitar based in the studio, thus not fulfilling both of your requirements from the OP, and Megalomania, which doesn't have a bit of piano in it, just organ (which is not the same thing at all), I see no reason not to include Butterflies and Hurricanes, which is totally piano centric in the original studio version, with added guitar in concert and in the music video.
You could always just vote other?
-
You have Hoodoo in there, which is mainly guitar with loud piano at the climax.
Performed by Matt on piano though!
I give up
-
I didn't want to start adding songs like Sing For Absolution and other songs that have both piano and guitar in.
Just vote other
-
Sir! Sir! You forgot Butterflies and Hurricanes...
He performs it mainly on guitar though...with just the piano solo in the middle
-
Vote for your fave!
These are songs that are piano based and are generally performed by Matt on piano/keyboard.
I've only included album tracks, I'll list B-sides under 'Other'
GO!

Endlessly

And yet Matt's still to this day bitching about Fury... and I assume they still vote on stuff, because, well they recently said they did.
If you watch the Absolution making of though, it says they had over 20 songs recorded I think. Many becoming b-sides. Don't think they had anything to vote on this time round...but the rest of the band could've spoken up and maybe changed some of the aspects of the song.
I think there's an ok song in Revolt somewhere.
-
I could see this being on a show like Glee
Think that's indicative of what Muse have become
-
What do people actually dislike about this song? . I'm just curious.
For me it's mainly the tempo changes. They're pretty awful. Especially going from verse to chorus
Then there's the obvious crappy lyrics and vocal delivery on certain lines. He sounds like Mika :-/
The guitar sounds shite on this track too which is a shame because it sounds excellent throughout the album
Yes it's catchy, but that doesn't make it a good song. There's been countless crappy pop songs over the years that are very catchy. But do you like them?
It feels like people are now claiming they love the song just because it's stuck in their head all day. I once had "Don't Cha' by Pussycat Dolls stuck in my head for a whole week but that doesn't mean I love it.
I think a lot of people are lying to themselves just because it's Muse. Quite a few people liked Big Freeze initially but now it's universally up there as one of Muse's most disliked songs
-
This track is up there with Rebecca Black's "Friday" for me. Possibly the worst Muse song ever! What the fuck is up with the guitar in the pre chorus tempo change? Ugh
I can't believe Chris, Dom and Mutt didn't stop Matt!
-
I wish DI's video was the band shots in the real video, with the lyrics, and maybe just some more drones flying around or something.
Not big on the dance. At all.
And I can never watch the other one anywhere.
But...but...what about the booooooobs??
-
This album is mixed worse than BHAR, pretty damn unlistenable at times.
The mixing is off at times. But the production is excellent throughout
-
Still no live videos from the Psycho UK tour?
I hope someone uploads them because I've only pre-ordered a digital copy
-
How good is this though?
I feel so happy when listening to it
-
Fuck this song
-
This might cause some controversy knowing these forums but here we go
1. OoS
2. Absolution
3. T2L
4. Drones
5. Showbiz
6. BHaR
7. The Resistance
(The bottom 3 move around order-wise a lot)
That's the highest I've ever seen someone rank T2L and the lowest for BHaR
Every credit for going against the grain
-
To me something seems odd with the timing when the tremolo comes in.
Yeah if feels a bit tacked on just to give the heavy bit some variety
-
Day 3. I still don't like Revolt.
Snap
-
Dead Inside - 7/10
Drill Sargeant/Psycho - 6/10
Mercy - 5/10
Reapers - 9/10
The Handler - 10/10
JFK/Defector - 8/10
Revolt - 4/10
Aftermath - 7/10
The Globalist - 6/10

Overall - 65/100 or 6.5/10
-
Does anybody else feel really happy whenever the solo/s kick in?
It's the most uplifting thing they've ever done I think
-
I can't believe people are even considering choosing The Globalist.
Things have changed around here
