2D Posted September 12, 2010 Posted September 12, 2010 Hello, I was hoping I could get some help concerning the quality of the Muse t-shirts currently on sale. I was going to buy one last night at the Wembley gig but I didn't want to hold onto it for the entire night as I was standing and I have extremely sensitive skin () which means that uncomfortable fabrics can give me rashes, etc very easily. Also I have bought other t-shirts from other bands and found that after a few washes, the colours fade and in some cases some of them have just fallen apart. Therefore I am a bit apprensive about paying £18 for what could be a very poor investment. I would be very grateful if some people could tell me about their quality and comfort. These are the t-shirts I am considering getting if it helps. http://muse.mu/shop/product/270/mens-muse-photo-jun-sept-10-tour-t-shirt/menu/14/t-shirts/ http://muse.mu/shop/product/259/mens-explode-jun-sept-10-tour-t-shirt/menu/12/mens/?productimage=596 http://muse.mu/shop/product/264/mens-resistance-photo-t-shirt/menu/12/mens/
alyssa_ Posted September 12, 2010 Posted September 12, 2010 I have a shirt from the BH&R tour that I love. I like it because it has a longer torso than most of my other shirts, but it doesn't have stunning quality or anything. Besides, I got it for free since I found it on the floor of the venue. Oh, and "revelations" is spelled wrong, too, lol.
Neon Leopard Posted September 12, 2010 Posted September 12, 2010 I have two and I love mine. They're comfortable to me, but I'm not sure what kinds of fabrics irrritate your skin.
Ella Posted September 12, 2010 Posted September 12, 2010 I was disappointed with the quality of one of the women's tee shirts. The logo was too heavy for the fabric, and it folds over on itself when I wear it.
Anxyous Posted September 12, 2010 Posted September 12, 2010 I have a black Exogenesis one, and a fall '09 tour t-shirt. Both are rather comfortable to wear, though nothing special really (but I don't think, you'll find them uncomfortable). As for logos and stuff, they seem to hold up rather well. I'm wearing the Exogenesis t-shirt now, and it still looks sharp.
*WildKat* Posted September 12, 2010 Posted September 12, 2010 Have to say the quality of the material was worse than last years... not that that stopped me buying a T shirt - it also meant that because the fabric was so thin I could fold it up to fit in my pocket! WK x
yettiman Posted September 12, 2010 Posted September 12, 2010 I have the womens Explode t-shirt and the fabric is really scratchy, like one of those crappy Fruits of the Loom shirts. All the other shirts I've got from the shop have been lovely and soft though.
IngeVS Posted September 13, 2010 Posted September 13, 2010 I have 3 shirts and I love them. They fit so well and the quality is really good. I'm not sure, but maybe you can try the shirts that are sort of made of bamboo. They are a lot lighter and feels different. example (the one I have): http://muse.mu/shop/product/282/ladies-turquoise-band-photo-t-shirt/menu/13/womens/
hyper_chondriac_muser Posted September 18, 2010 Posted September 18, 2010 I have a lot of Muse tees and haven't had any problems so far. Some materials are better than others (i.e. thicker and better quality), but overall the standard of official Muse tees is pretty good. Having said that, I bought the 'explode' hoody from Wembley and wrapped it around my waist while the gig was on... when I got home, it was already getting bobbly and looking worn ... I'd owned it for like 6 hours . That's the biggest prob I've had so far, but I can't be arsed to send some form of complaint about it, lol.
