In order to sign in successfully to your previous message board account, please visit http://www.muse.mu/member and log in with the email address that was associated with your old http://board.muse.mu account. Even if you did not have a Muse member account associated with that email, you can create a new muse.mu account with that email and it will link your old board account automatically. After logging into http://www.muse.mu/member visit https://forum.muse.mu and you should be able to see your previously used account. Here are a few of the common questions we’ve received so far: Questions: I remember the email address associated with my old board account, but never had a Muse.mu account opened with it. Now what? Answer: If you did not have a Muse member account associated with your message board email, you can create a new muse.mu account with that email and it will link your old board account automatically. Question: I don’t remember my muse.mu password! What do I do? Answer: Feel free to reset your password. Just make sure you have access to the email account itself. Question: I don’t remember the email address associated with my previous message board account? Answer: PM myself or Matthijs. We can give you hints about what email domain is associated with it. If you cannot log into the current forum whatsoever (with a new account) to send a PM, you can DM me on Twitter here: https://www.twitter.com/JessicaSarahS Question: I created a new temp forum account with my old board username but I lost my board member post history/rank/images. Now I figured out my old board login information, but the username is associated with the new/unwanted account and I want my old username back— help? Answer: PM an Admin with the email addresses associated with the unwanted and preferred forum accounts, and your preferred username. We can attempt to rename the preferred account and change the associated email to the one with the longest post history. Question: I have something going on that was not addressed here. What should I do? Answer: Reach out to us via forum post, PM, DM, or email board@muse.mu Please be patient with us during this transition as we’ve had a number of issues with the login process. Hopefully once we’ve resolved the individual account issues, your future logins will run much more smoothly!-
matthijs Posted February 22, 2019 Posted February 22, 2019 Should you have issues getting your old account to work, follow these steps. Login to https://www.muse.mu/member Click on EDIT YOUR DETAILS Then click on the Edit Account tab Change your username there. If your email address is not recognised, first make a new account using the name and email address of your old board account. We can help you figure out which address that is, or update it if you can no longer access it.
