I use Super Sculpey, which is a clay that you can oven bake. I sculpt over stuff to save on materials, so they're all built on top of old wrestling toy bodies lol, and the heads are sculpted onto those pods you get inside of kinder eggs.

how long does it take?

 

Honestly don't know how to answer that lol. Some have been in the works for months, but I can probably crank one out in a few days if I have the focus. I normally sculpt the heads in a day as they're most fun, and then slowly build up the body sculpt. I've got a lot on the go at the moment, so there's heads everywhere.
