  1. The Pittsburgh show pit has sold out. Ticketmaster this morning had an interactive map where I thought of buying two more really close seats and deciding a few weeks before which set to keep, but they've since gone back to the "here's a really random crappy set we picked for you" way of dispensing.
  2. Yeah I'm just hoping for one to either get pit seats or the best available that aren't "VIP" packages. Last time I saw them was side stage in a huge arena and it didn't fully do it for me. Still a great show, but I'd like a better view. The pit at my venue is generally really small, so it may be for VIP tix only. Edit: got my code at 7:05 AM local time.
  3. I have an office job, so the computer part isn't the problem. I can't imagine getting the code should be the problem either. I've been registered on muse.mu since the last absolution period, so I doubt there's a ton more legacy members looking specifically for the date I'm interested in.
  4. That sounds really nice. I had Highly Suspect playing and kept pausing iTunes and it wouldnt seem to stop the music then I realized I had that video on
  5. I'd probably do some things I'm not proud of in trying to get that guitar I was up front at a small 100ish person Dead Sara show a few months back. Emily was real interactive with the crowd, so that made it a cool show. Was up front at a Buckethead gig too. Got some of his toys and touched his killswitch, so that was cool too.
  6. Wantagh would be a 7 hour drive. I'm basically right in Pittsburgh. I went to Royal Blood about 2-ish years ago. Mike jumped down in the crowd and was basically using me as a leaning post during the Out of the Black outro, so that makes me realize being upfront is well worth it, even if I block some views. They shoulda been there earlier is my new philosophy.
  7. I'd consider a NY show if it were more like a Buffalo area, but getting into the NYC-ish area is a nightmare for me and takes forever. I don't go to Philly shows for that reason, so NYC is just a crappier extension of that. I go to a lot of shows alone when my fiance works or etc I usually go to small club shows and stand in the pit, but I get there early so I'm always in the front. Problem is I'm like 6'-4" so I feel bad being some dude standing in the middle of the stage all by my lonesome blocking peoples' views, but meh.
  8. Whatever the hell pavilion is in Pittsburgh / Burgettstown PA. They rename it on a yearly basis these days it seems. Muse rarely comes to Pittsburgh, so I have to take advantage when given the chance. Columbus (where they generally go for their OH/eastern PA shown) isn't a bad drive, but you have to take the next day off if it's a weeknight. When they played PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh (formerly Consol Energy Center - we have a venue naming issue in this city apparently), it was a fairly poor showing, but it was also a weeknight, so I can see why they stay away from me.
  9. Nah, the part where you sign in with your ticketmaster account. I have the same email for both muse.mu and TM but a different PW. When i use my muse.mu pw it boots me saying incorrect info. when i use the ticketmaster info, it basically just refreshes the page. a number of others appear to be having the same issue on twitter.
  10. From what I've gathered from Adrian and others who have purchased from here in the states, Manson will charge you their $225 +/- depending on exchange rate, then FedEx, who it seems they use for shipping, will bill you later for somewhere short of 10% of the purchase price in all likelihood, so don't let that expense be underestimated in budgeting. Technically too, you're to report it to your state as well to pay sales tax on depending on what state you're in. Most people don't do this for your typical online purchases because paper trail is generally lax and the tax equates to next to nothing in the end, but for me in PA for example, 6% on a 3k manson is $180. Since there's import records on that entering the country, I'd be more inclined to think they would look into that and consider auditing if they happened to catch you not reporting it.
  11. Agreed. That's actually pretty reasonably priced for a LE signature series with that spec. I'm a little surprised the hand-painted Zvex MA one-off the works has hasn't sold. I thought only 10 of those were made, each with the different pickgaurd. Its price isn't absurd either.
  12. You were correct. HT tube. Replaced it we have sound. Still may have a bad power tube, but I'll have to run it through the motions and see if the new fuse blows. Thanks for the help
  13. bit steep, but oh so pretty: https://reverb.com/item/4051511-manson-mb-1-2013-red-sparkle
  14. Will do. I only have one speaker cable, but I'll take the head into GC tomorrow and test it on another cab and see what happens. If that doesn't work, I'll start testing tubes I suppose.
  15. Yeah all bad. I don't have any electronics testing equipment, so I'll have to grab some cheap stuff for testing. But anyways, I rudimentally tested the 4 speakers with a 9V and they all seem okay, so it's the head. The head has power and will switch between leads but no output. Very well may be a fuse, but I have no means of testing today anyways. I had the VPR engaged, cutting the power level from apartment playing, and the fuzz, while at a reasonably low volume, was still loads louder than the base amp. I imagine that was the issue, but I'm not terribly good with circuits to understand that. I need to know my amp better I'm a civil engineer, not an electrical
  16. Lemme see if y'all have any opinions on this before I take it to a tech. I have a Marshall TSL100 and 4x12 1960a cab. I went to noodle with my fuzz probe and a chord kinked or something and caused some loud clicking noises and then all sound went dead. I'm going to do what I can to troubleshoot the head, but just looking to see if any of you have any rough ideas. Tried to input straight into the head with two different guitars and nothing.
  17. Anyone ever try and get Manson to finish the guitar in the black glitter? Just curious if they'd even consider doing it for anyone but MB.
