Oh interesting, those are mine too!
*Whats He Building?*
New Born
Supermassive Black Hole
Map of the Problematique
Assassin (ext.)
Citizen Erased
Hoodoo
Space Dementia
Hyper Music
Darkshines
Futurism
Micro Cuts
Dead Star
Starlight
Bliss
Megalomania
Take a Bow
Plug in Baby
Knights of Cydonia
This is pretty much my perfect setlist using these rules too. I would take Megalomania out, leave Bliss as an outro. I would swap Map and Assassin, and move Futurism to between them two. I would then add City of Delusion into Futurisms old position. Done.

HCM is their best song. Recess is great too.
The best early b-side is Do We Need This?
Yes, yes, yes. It was a great show closer too.
-
I've really been into Hullabaloo lately. Recess is so good.
Isnt it just? I like Shrinking Universe, Shine Acoustic and HCM too. Ashamed is pretty fun too. Always picture a car chase when that song kicks off
-
Prague.
No, but seriously, Nature_1 popped up on my playlist the other day. Forgot how good that song was. ( Quite a few good ones on Hullaballoo actually)
-
Meh. At the end of the day, its mainly about the riff and yelping along. Does well on that front
This is pretty much what Muse have been all about since the beginning, aint it?
-
Drama coming from obsessive fan girls and a certain instagram photo. If you have been able to avoid it, consider yourselves lucky but it's all I've heard about for the past day scrolling through my feed. It's embarassing, though I do find it entertaining.
Is that the one with the big robot spider thing in the background? (Not that I didn't notice what was in the foreground ).
-
The Anti-Zepp (although some of these are rare)

To be fair, al ot of the casuals would probably love this.

It's from MBDVD15, which I can't find on MB anymore for some reason.
You're probably talking about this version?
Yeah that's the one lol.

After 10 years of running MuseBootlegs myself and Phil have decided to call it a day, a lot has changed in our lives and we have a lot less time than we used to.
We're both happy for the site to be taken over by new owners, if your interested please get in touch. If we don't get any applicants that we feel are right then the site will close at the end of November.
Thank you to everyone for making the site what it is today and of course to all the tapers which made it all possible, we simply created a forum for everyone to share and enjoy the many bootlegs.
Paul
Sorry to see you guys leave. Best of luck to you in whatever you are now doing.

I used to have a hilarious version from 2000 where he cracked horribly trying to hit the A4. Wonder if I can find it again.
Is that the one where he just screams into the megaphone for the first and third line of the second verse?
-
Dammit, i got V Fest from Muselive which is no longer working. I cannot see it on MuseBootlegs either. I have it on a CD though, but only in MP3 rather than FLAC ( not that it makes any difference with an AUD recording lol).
-
Ooh, Clunge, did you see my edit on my previous post?
-
TaB from Shepherd's Bush is great.
BUT, it doesn't have the amazing live ending - it just fades like the album one. Not so cool.
Ah, you see, thats why i prefer that one. I find the extra notes are ok if it is the closing song but when it was the opener, i would have liked to see the fade out going into Hysteria.
EDIT
If you like the outro though, have you heard the recording from VFest08? The synths sound really clear, much clearer than on HAARP. Only thing with that recording though is you can hear the click tape.
-
HAARP is a bit too nasal on certain songs. MOTP and Blackput were amazing though. Probably my favourite TaB too.
My favourite TaB is Shepherds Bush 06.
Actually i forgot about B + H from Glasto 04. That was pretty awesome.
-
Earl's Court night 2 is my favourite B&H
That gig was awesome. Micro Cuts > Citizen Erased > TaB interlude > Space Dementia was probably the best flow ever.
-
Dead Inside - 9
Psycho - 7
Mercy - 8
Reapers - 10
The Handler - 9
Defector - 7
Revolt - 8
Aftermath - 6
The Globalist - 9
Drones - 8
Dont get the negativity around this album, most consistent one since Black Holes.
And, yayy, lists!
-
You realise that seeding is the way torrents work though? If other people didn't seed for you, you wouldn't be able to download the bootleg you wanted, which is why it's considered fair to seed for other people as well.
I left my PC on solid for about a week seeding Glasto 16, in that time it had uploaded about 25% of what i had downloaded
EDIT : Back on topic.....I think HAARP has quite a few best performances on it.....MotP, Butterflies and Hurricanes, Feeling Good, Hoodoo, NewBorn, Blackout )
-
Honestly I can't find anything on that site anymore. They even used to have a bootleg index. Will never understand how they managed to fuck it up so badly.
I managed to find the bootleg index but none of the links work
I used to use it a lot back in the day, i even uploaded a couple of bootlegs ( just odd radio live sessions, no big gigs). But they really screwed it up when they changed the format of the forums. For example, these official forums use a pretty standard, simple layout, and PlaystationTrophies and XboxAchievements use exactly the same layout so I imagine hundreds of other sites use it too.
I used to love Muselive, you could download loads of gigs without worrying about share ratios or whether people are seeding the gigs unlike a certain other bootleg site
-
It's the only performance I've ever found, and I've checked every bootleg that was on muselive.
Are there still bootlegs on Muselive? Last time i went on there, SYS was not working at all.
-
Supermassive black hole at Shepherd's bush 2006 is definitely the best performance of it
As Lewis said, TaB was great too, mainly because they kept the feedback at the end for this gig, and launched straight into Hysteria. Amazing.
EDIT: Thanks for sharing that, Tjet. Never seen that performance of CoD before. Epic guitar solo AND an epic A4.

I know "Hex" is Tab, get a grip is fury, razor blades is micro cuts (I think). Don't know any of the others. I have heard of the Jackson funk and church of the sub genius though, can't remember what songs they were though.
