Honestly I don't think ticketmaster did that much wrong.
How do you work that out? It was supposed to open at 9, it opened at 9.10.
-
Really weird how thrte is no presale info
Yeah, it was there yesterday but gone today. I'm just anticipating the site to crash at 9am.

Proof that Muse could do a great set with only a handful of their hits. No KoC, Starlight, Dead Inside, Uprising, but still plenty of songs casuals should know ( in fact, only 4 of these songs dont have a music or lyric video on the bands Youtube page). Nice work, Frakkles. (Yeah, i have just nicked this setlist to do a playlist from my bootleg collection lol)

No support acts at these shows then, have half hour break halfway through. Not super-unrealistic, Manics done it in 2013 at their National Treasures show.
-
Wow, Forevermusic, that one is awesome.
-
Yeah, the Origin performances are the only ones I've heard that do the beef of the studio version justice. There's a few knocking around from the Abso era and even they pale in comparison imo.
What about the 06-08 performances with the effects pedal? They were pretty awesome, but then they cut the songs balls off during The Resistance tour.
-
Let's not fuck around, Feeling Good is pretty decent, and definitely not Explorers tier
This. Yeah, its been played to death and certainly does not need to be played live anymore. However, the actual album track is incredible as were the live performances of it from that era. Hell, it even sounded good on HAARP with the effects and everything, but then they stupidly stripped everything back for the Resistance tour (They should definitely have retired it once Eurasia turned up).

116-123 (UK) or 1800-273-TALK (US)
for those who feel like they need it after reading this thread
I used to work for these. I lasted two days because I had four suicides. Unfortunately one of them dialled the wrong number.

We officially no longer have mods.
An assassin must have stalked the site and shown no mercy.
-
Kill yourselves. Come on and do us all a favour.
S**t just went down

It wasn't even a pun to begin with.
You mean to say it was unintended? You're a bunch of animals.

Screenager is probably my second favourite track on OoS.
Screenager is certainly great, human bones too. My least favourite "original" track on Oos, which says a hell of a lot about that album. Still my favourite despite Black Holes and Drones.

It looks like The Thing is here to stay. What next? Is Dom going to use a certain body part as an extra drum stick
-
All these setlists with loads of covers, and not one Feeling Good lol.
-
Okay, I don't know if this counts since Matt himself didn't technically write the line, but "Life is short and filled with stuff" is amazing.
That is a great line. Made even better with the big green lyrics plastered across the screen lol.

Muse covering Cramps? I didn't think that could happen in my entire lifetime . It sounds like they're having fun and that's great. I like the cover though
I want a Manson cover by Muse too. Matt sounds a bit Marilyn Manson in this song . I thought about that when Uprising was released actually.
I thought he sounded like Marilyn Manson too.

Dusseldorf Osterrocknacht 2001, I think? Downloaded it a couple of nights ago but haven't listened to it yet, t'is indeed supposed to be pretty good though.
Currently searching through Musebootlegs and the rest of the internet to download pretty much every concert I can find so I can try and do some kind of definitive 'best performance of each song' list. It's taking a while, surprisingly
Best hidden gems I've found so far are Triple J '00 (the 'funny versions' gig), BBC Radio 1 '01, Seat Beach Rock '02, Helsinki Nosturi '03, Eden Project '06, Paris Bercy night two '06 and Tokyo '07 (not sure if that last one is really 'hidden' but it's bloody good). Still got loooooads to go though.
I have Helsinki 03 and Bercy night two 06. I also have just Sing for Absolution from Tokyo 07 for some reason. (Probably just tried to find a decent BH+R era SfA). RAH08 and V Fest 08 are good ones too. Teignmouth 09 has my fave Unnatural Selection on it, although the Seattle 10 one is awesome aa well.
One i can never find is Montreux Jazz Festival 02. Love watching the gig on Youtube but never found an audio source.
There was a really weird one from one of the stadium shows in 2010 too ( think it was Goffertpark?). The audio mix seemed to favour Chris, the backing vocals overshadowed Matt and the bass was very, very clear.

Oh well. I shall try again on Friday. There were probably only about 200 tickets just now anyway.
By the way, street signs, buses and cars can all go fuck themselves.
