See you in Madrid!

My thoughts on this album:
1. It's not BHR level but this album is good, Reapers and The Handler are the best songs they've done since.
2. Pyscho has instantly become a live anthem, also Mercy is a great live song.
3. Defector even though it's probably the shittest Muse song of all time i reckon it will be good live without those annoying vocals.
I agree: Defector will be amazing live.

I think we all need a lot of patience! Tour dates will be announce soon.
I hope so!

Listening to the entire album Drones, from Dead Inside to Drones.
It is an amazing album! I like it very much.
And Revolt is a growing up...

Showbiz :
Hate this & I'll love you
Origin of Symmetry :
Feeling Good
Absolution :
FAWY
BH&R :
Soldier's Poem
The Resistance :
IBTY (I'm french and I have understood the middle part is in french only two years after discovering the song. Very bad accent of Matt, he should improve the pronunciation of few words in French because in live it seems so artificial)
The 2nd Law :
Follow me (to heavy for me...)
Drones :
I don't know... Maybe Revolt or Drones, but I should listen more Drones to know
So Matt does not speak French with a good accent.
Interesting...
IBTY is one of my favourite of The Resistance.

Showbiz
SS
Muscle Museum
The Globalist
Butterflies and Hurricanes

Next steps:
1. Some random Muser opts that they may also play The Globalist with an orchestra.
2. Boardies get excited and think it's real because several people have now tweeted about it.
3. Thousands stay home from work/stay up at night and install a VPN to watch a live stream.
4. Only Mercy is played.
5. Tom and the band get bombarded with angry tweets because Muse broke all their promises and owe us what we were expecting.
6. Premiere of Defector confirmed

The intention of Muse making the album Drones: songs that can be play live.
All songs sound awesome live. So, they reached the goal!
-
Great show!
Very very happy.
Thanks Muse

My standard question: is there a live stream? Pretty please?
I don't think so...Sorry!
-
Bilbao is full of Musers!
Anybody from this board?
I pray for an awesowe show tonight
-
Three days...Hype everywhere!
-
Please no... I would rather get an Assassin, Bliss, Dead Star or ever New Born for that (hoping for a Werchter type of setlist, but I think it's highly unlikely)
Both festivals must get an awesome setlist, period. But above all, a great time!
I wish an awesome setlist for Portugal and....THE SETLIST for Bilbao.

Uh what?
1. Do you even know what Muse's roots are?
2. Which other songs on the album sounds like Dead Inside? Psycho is obviously sonically quite similar to songs like The Handler, Reapers and the heavy part of The Globalist.
And since you're obviously gonna disagree, let me save you the trouble of making a stupid post: Psycho is a 3-piece rock song based on a riff written back in 1999. Mercy is similar to Starlight and Stockholm Syndrome, and Matt specifically said the album sounded like something between Abso and BH&R. The Handler and Reapers are obviously typical Muse rock songs, and one of them even references lyrics to Showbiz. The Globalist is Matt's attempt at a prequel to a song written in 2001. Obviously most of us agreee they're not very similar, but it's clearly an attempt at returning to their roots.
Revolt is a pop-rock track with some similarities to Showbiz
Muse made it very clear from the start that it was about returning to their 3-piece based sound and going away from the synth- and orchestral dominated sound, which was exactly what they did.
 Drones is basically a guitar-bass-drum album. Agreed

I listened The Resistance two days ago while I was driving my car. In my opinion, Drones is better than The Resistance. Matt's vocals on Drones are amazing (love falsettos).
And I like The Resistance very much
-
NOS Alive setlist could give us an idea about the BBK setlist, hope they get Resistance and Madness
I would like a 'Rock Werchter' setlist for all the gigs ( with Assassin, of course )

My wish for Bilbao:
Showbiz
Citizen erased
The Handler
Thank you
-
My selection:
Showbiz: Sunburn, Showbiz, Unintended
OOS: PIB, Citizen erased, Bliss
Absolution: Hysteria, TIRO, SS
BHAR: SMBH, Assassin, KoC
The Resistance: Uprising, USOE, Exogenesis part I
The 2nd Law: Unsustainable, Animals, Panic Station
Drones: Reapers, The Handler, The Globalist

Milan Strings are in the third section of The Globalist.
Thank you!
-
Aftermath is a relaxing song. A good ballad.
The strings, are the 'Milan strings' they posted no Instagram? Or are the Milan Strings in The Globalist?
Anyway...They sound great!

Nice to see Drones has almost got 5* on Itunes (based on 663 reviews). Still growing on me, the Handler's got some beautiful drumming that I sort of hadn't noticed due to the guitars, vocals and bass taking most of my attention
Good news!
The guys did an excellent work with the album. I can't stop listening to it!

Well...I travelled 500 Kilometres to see Muse in Bilbao this year. I will travel 350 kilometres next year, because I will go to Madrid's gig.
I am interested in the VIP package. Once in a year, maybe it will worth it...
