1. Do you even know what Muse's roots are?
2. Which other songs on the album sounds like Dead Inside? Psycho is obviously sonically quite similar to songs like The Handler, Reapers and the heavy part of The Globalist.
And since you're obviously gonna disagree, let me save you the trouble of making a stupid post: Psycho is a 3-piece rock song based on a riff written back in 1999. Mercy is similar to Starlight and Stockholm Syndrome, and Matt specifically said the album sounded like something between Abso and BH&R. The Handler and Reapers are obviously typical Muse rock songs, and one of them even references lyrics to Showbiz. The Globalist is Matt's attempt at a prequel to a song written in 2001. Obviously most of us agreee they're not very similar, but it's clearly an attempt at returning to their roots.
Revolt is a pop-rock track with some similarities to Showbiz
Muse made it very clear from the start that it was about returning to their 3-piece based sound and going away from the synth- and orchestral dominated sound, which was exactly what they did.
:LOL: Drones is basically a guitar-bass-drum album. Agreed -
I listened The Resistance two days ago while I was driving my car. In my opinion, Drones is better than The Resistance. Matt's vocals on Drones are amazing (love falsettos).
And I like The Resistance very much

La verdad, me da un poco igual el setlist porque voy a disfrutar cualquier canción. Tengo muchas ganas de que llegue el día 11 de julio!
Personalmente, entre Resistance y Madness, prefiero Resistance. Si tienen que tocar alguna de T2L, entonces Animals, Panic Station ó Survival!

Es que Matt canta...
a mí su voz fue una de las cosas que me enamoró de Muse, me lo paso pipa cantando sus canciones y me parece que la aprovecha al máximo. Lo primero que me llamo la atención de Muse fue la música. Luego, la voz de Matt...Y, me hice fan.

Prefiero un concierto de estadio ( o local mediano) a un Festival. Pero, ver a Muse este año es obligado. No hay excusas.
Es curioso, la mayoría de nosotros estamos deseando que toquen canciones de Drones. Muy buena señal. Significa que estamos disfrutando del nuevo trabajo y tenemos curiosidad por escuchar las canciones aún no tocadas en vivo. No siempre pasa esto...

A mi me entusiasma cómo canta Matt. Y las letras me parecen muy decentes. Unas letras mejores, otras peores.
Quizá tenéis razón y ayuda el que canten en inglés y el inglés no sea nuestra lengua materna.

Nice to see Drones has almost got 5* on Itunes (based on 663 reviews). Still growing on me, the Handler's got some beautiful drumming that I sort of hadn't noticed due to the guitars, vocals and bass taking most of my attention

Jo, qué envidia me dais, estoy por hacer perenigraje hasta Bilbao:( Añade también AP, aunque esa parece que ha vuelto para quedarse! Esa actuación fue genial, y además los sestlist también son mejores que en la gira pasada, a ver si continuan así!

Estoy deseando que añadan Defector al setlist. Tengo curiosidad por escucharla en directo.
