That doesn't answer my question in any way. Stay on topic please.

Why would I want to talk about Revolt?
Because this is the Revolt single thread?
-
You're totally missing the point with the hashtag. It is usually used in a context where the speaker tries to defend himself from whatever was said about men. "Not all men. I don't do that". Which kills any productive discussion regarding issues with the male gender, such as an extreme history of oppression, as well as toxic behaviour which is promoted by the very same men. It's literally some guy who stops a debate about toxic gender roles simply to prove that he is a nice guy.
It's also ironic that the people who complain about men being portrayed as oppressive pigs never seem to complain about negative female portrayals.
What does any of this have to with Revolt?

At least it'll be played live now.

Question:
Has anyone else been having issues with their vinyl copies of Drones? The bass is barely audible during parts of some tracks on mine (though Mercy actually, finally sounds fairly decently mixed), especially on Reapers (which sucks cause that's one of Chris' best basslines in a long time), it came with skips right out of the sleeve, and new skips are appearing randomly without me scratching or messing with the record in any way (especially on Psycho). Why are these issues occurring, does anyone else have them, and can they be helped without buying another copy?
I can mostly live with the low bass levels since I have the digital version as well, but the appearance of new skips has me worried.
The only issue I had with my Drones vinyl (first play upon getting home from HMV) was that there was a bit in The Globalist that skipped. Other than that, everything's fine, although my dads stereo system may have something to do with it sounding as good as it does.

okay but real talk
drones is a masterpiece
much like all of their previous albums
the globalist is a beautiful song and the beginning as well as end are great contrasts to the gritty feel of reapers and the handler. i also think that the "format" of the song drones is really unique. i wasn't too fond of it at first, however it really grew on me.
I'd strap in if I were you.

Aftermath might be in with a 'worst ever' shout though imo.
I don't think Aftermath is their worst ever by any stretch of the imagination, I find it really pleasant. That said, I have some nice memories tied to it atm, so that might have something to do with it.

there will always be a section of the crowd that's left looking at their backsides (inb4 any creepy 'lel yes pls' replies)
I can appreciate a good bum, I'm cool with this

I always forget that if Exo-Politics was a human, Clunge would probably be incarcerated for brutally bludgeoning them.

BH&R anniversary gigs at Wembley using the Wembley 2007 stage

Welcome to the daily Muse bash.
-
(also, it's only 5 now, sold my first Manchester ticket to a friend)
I can't imagine attending even 2 gigs tbh, let alone 5, I like only going to one because it feels more special. That many would kill the specialness of the gig for me, but it's different for each person I guess.
-
Exactly.
Nah, I wouldn't be surprised if Survival is pulled back in to close some of the gigs.
-
I'm not sick of it yet because I don't have that much disposable income. Can't imagine how you'll cope at those six dates, when it inevitably closes about four of them, Jobby.
-
I really wish they would stop closing sets with Knights.
It makes the end anti-climactic for me now.
Honestly, I think just watching a setlist get updated takes you out of it a bit. To me, I was disappointed with Knights closing all the time, but when it closed when I saw them I fucking loved it. But hey, each to their own I guess.
-
I feel like this discussion has been going round in circles for a while now.
-
Muse need to take a leaf out of Frank Turner's book, namely, that when he releases a new album the setlists get longer. Frank's been playing 24-27 songs night in night out on his current tour. With seven albums behind them, I see no reason for why Muse are limiting themselves to 18 songs, when they should be pushing for 24 at the very least.

I liked Mercy's video.
-
The Revolt video looked like it was gonna be pretty big so maybe they're going all out.
-
Isn't Agitated in 5/4?

I always found Eternally Missed to be massively overrated, like, it's good yeah but it's not great.
