  1. Did some videos again! Mainly of the rotated songs but also a few curiousity videos of things I consider highlights of the show. Still have no idea how to embed them.

    Bliss (+ extended bits, obviously)

Map (+ who knows who + Maggies farm)

    Citizen Erased

    The confetti release during Mercy.

    The Dildrone NOT CRASHING.

  2. That was absolutely brilliant. CE, Map and TAB in the same set has made me very happy.

Was a wee bit awkward when people started clapping just before the piano in CE as if it was the end of the song though :chuckle:

We're you In the standing bit with no seats behind it? I want to try to get there tomorrow night cause the band leaves down that side.

I think that theory about them dressing up as the riot police before the gig may be true now.

No - I was in the section with the seats behind it. Piano side was absolutely rammed from my half though so I might not go there anyway. Depends how it seems when I get there really.

  3. I've decided to go tomorrow - looks like an amazing setlist tonight, so I'm worried I made the wrong choice of date.

Really want to hear TAB - as it got played tonight, does that mean it won't likely be tomorrow?

There's no way to predict it - I've had it three gigs in a row now myself which I certainly didn't expect to say last year when I booked the tickets!

  4. Haven't heard of it at different venue, but heard people at this one had different designations on the tickets.

Yeah my other night ticket has "door B" (this is "door C") but that's usually meaningless if it isn't seated lol. I've noticed there seems to be a hard barrier between the areas as well, which again is kind of weird. Might have to get here a bit earlier tomorrow then!

  5. Weird approach to things here at the SECC. They wouldn't let me round to the other half of the standing area - cut me off at the piano section. "different types of ticket" apparently. This wasn't an issue in London. Has it happened anywhere else? Not annoyed, just curious I guess.

  6. Seems a bit short, running at 80 minutes, but eh.

  7. After my relatively fruitless three nights at the O2. didn't make much of a dent to most of these, though BHAR is looking a bit healthier (up from 3 to 5) and obviously I've hit a lot more Drones songs now.

  8. I think the thing that annoyed me with this show was that I lowered my expectations based on Assassin/AP last night, and still walked out a bit disappointed? Like, the other residencies had songs introduced to the rotation for the first time / changed up immensely, but by london the novelty seems to have worn off for the band and they're just going through the motions. Makes me wonder if I'd ever do "this" again. One or two shows is still a pretty good experience but it doesn't seem there's payoff for 'gambling' unless you go 'all in' - I'd have done better if I didn't drop £80 on this show, for example, because at least then I'd have seen tonight's songs (apart from feeling fucking good) already and be none the wiser that I'd just missed out.

Though it is nice to have 2x Map and 2x TAB added to the 'seen' list.

  9. Wasn't that bad. Just feeling good that let it down.

i was still slightly disappointed even though I knew Assassin wouldn't be played two nights in a row

Nah we weren't a song short, they played 20 (including prelude and isolated system) which is normal when they don't do Interlude.

  10. Take A Bow is on it.

I'm happy with that! It was awesome on the 12th.

    Facepalm.

Knights is awesome. If it weren't a single and played so often, all the fans will be crazy for it.

At this point I'd leave during TIRO, but for the extremely small chance of a rare song in the encore.

It's not a "lulz casuals" thing it's just genuinely boring to have such a predictable and samey run of songs every night for me.
