And I totally understand what you mean about Muse, I'm always in the mood to listen to their music, whereas I have to be in a certain mood to feel like listening to another band, I guess. I would absolutely love to see them live, but I don't know if/when they'll be touring in the USA (or where, for that matter; it's a big country and travelling is EXPENSIVE.) But I've heard Muse is really amazing live! I have the DVD of their HAARP concert at Wembley Stadium and it's really good.

Well, lately I've been listening to OK Computer a lot, but I really like Amnesiac as well. What's yours?

Hmm, yeah, I see what you mean about the video. I think visually, with the lighting and set, it looks really cool, but what's actually going on doesn't make much sense, and I don't feel like the mood of the video fits the song very well. The video is full of action and people running around and fighting in a dark subway, whereas the music is fairly quiet and simple, and about love. That kind of combination can work well sometimes, but it falls flat in this case, in my opinion.

Basically, I just feel like the video and the music have nothing in common. (Although, maybe the physical fighting in the video is supposed to represent the arguments in a relationship?)

That's awesome! Yeah, I heard Hysteria (my sister listened to it often) and Knights of Cydonia (I played it on Guitar Hero) first, before I knew what the band was. Then I heard Hysteria on some youtube video in late 2010, and listened to some more of the band's muisc, and thus, I slowly but surely became a Muser. I think the only songs I listened to were Ruled by Secrecy, Butterflies and Hurricanes, and Bliss for a while at first, then I listened to more of their stuff. Not nearly as interesting as your story, haha.
