  1. Haha :D I tried to google her and didn't find anything. She's keeping a low profile, it seems...:ninja:

    :$:LOL:

    You have a blackish world, it seems :awesome::party: I'm just fine, although I'm shocked that I played the guitar only 2 hours today :eek: Or wait, is it supposed to be the normal playing time for each day? :facepalm::LOL:

    YOU DON'T CARE ABOUT MUSE'S LIVE PERFORMANCES?!? :mad: Morgan could never do all that crazy stuff without his glorious CABASA :cabasa::dance:

    (^seriously though, what the duck...? :wtf:)

    Okay, what the heck? Such a short message and I still managed to use over 15 smileys...:facepalm:

    Btw, what are your usual amp settings? :D

  2. My plans are always great :doobie:

    Gooooooooooooooooooooood :D

    It's this one girl. I don't even know her that much, but she's a friend of my ex-crush. I don't know if you can see it, but: http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100000414129990 I gotta admit, I don't believe that I've got even the slightest chance with her :LOL:

    Ah, the awkward moment when you realise your smiley failed...:$

    So, how're things going in the Zeta World? :D:LOL:

    IT'S NOT A SHAKER, IT'S A CABASA!!!!! :cabasa:

    (^don't ask...:facepalm:)

  3. I would, but I'm just too lazy to do it. I'll just sit here and write something to you instead :LOL:

    Stop hoping and start realizing that you really are making good process :yesey:

    Oh, the irony...now I'm talking with my ex-crush about how to approach my new crush :rolleyes:

    Maybe, maybe not :ninja: I don't really see myself as a talented guitarist :LOL::$

    Freddie...:cry:

    :pope: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!11!!!!!11!!!!11!!11!111!!!11111 /caps

    Yeah :doobie:

  4. I'm in love with my amp again :happy: It gave me so much good tones today :awesome:

    BUT MY STUPID D STRING RUINS IT ALL BY SOUNDING LIFELESS AND MUFFLED :fear: I really need to change it...:facepalm:

    Yeah! :D

    Well, you're making good process, I think? ;)

    Yeah...:$ I told my ex-crush that I had a crush on her, and of course it was awkward for a while (because she obviously didn't feel the same way), but now our friendship's better than ever :awesome:

    Yeah, I've been playing since 2009...though I can't remember when exactly.

    Yeah, Queen is just amazing :yesey:

    :pope: OH NOES! WHO'S GONNA WRITE THE NEXT ALBUM NOW? :supersad:

    Bloody tired...Off to sleep now :sleepy:

  5. Maybe, maybe not...:ninja:

    Yeah, I need to do that too...I'm just too lazy to do it :LOL:

    Great! :awesome:

    Oh well, today I turned my amp on...and everything sounded amazing!!! :eek::dance:

    :erm:...:D

    I know the feeling...but if you truly are good friends, your friendship will be just fine, no matter what happens :) I know this from experience.

    (I can't :ninja::$)

    Damn, you've been playing longer than me...:mad:

    Hmm...well, my current top 10 seems to be something like this: Muse, Radiohead, Queen, Death Cab For Cutie, The White Stripes, Placebo, Coldplay, Porcupine Tree, U2 and Elbow.

    Well, I'll do the same. I'll list my favourite songs from each band above.

    Muse=Citizen Erased

    Radiohead=Karma Police

    Queen=One Vision

    Death Cab For Cutie=Transatlanticism

    The White Stripes=Seven Nation Army

    Placebo=Without You I'm Nothing

    Coldplay=42

    Porcupine Tree=Blackest Eyes

    U2=Where The Streets Have No Name

    Elbow=The Birds

    Usually I just play guitar or go to the computer. :)

    OH SHIT!!! A ZETA! :eek: MATT, COME HERE, QUICK!!!

    :awesome:

  6. I've been feeling much better now. Of course I'm still slightly depressed, but not that much at the moment.

    Yeah, .52 sounds great on the 6th string :awesome:

    Oh, cool :) I was with my former crush last sunday and we had fun :awesome:

    I so want to kill my guitar and amp now :mad: I can't seem to get any decent sounds out of the amp anymore. Maybe it's just me, though. Still, it's bothering me. Today I spent almost 3 hours trying to tweak my amp settings. Oh well, maybe tomorrow I'll turn my amp on and everything will sound great. Who knows? :D

    Off to sleep now, I'm bloody tired...

    BUT

    ONE FINAL QUESTION

    *drum roll*

    How are you? :) (very original, I know...:facepalm:)

    BUT

    STILL MORE QUESTIONS :eek:

    *drum roll* (again? :wtf:)

    How long have you been playing guitar?

    What are your favourite bands?

    What are your favourite songs?

    What do you usually do at home?

    Are you alive or are you a ghost, roaming this universe while desperately trying to move on? (:erm:)

    Or are you a Zeta? :eek:

    Lots of questions, eh? :D I was bored...

  7. Yeah :awesome:

    You know, you're not the first one to ask that question...but no, nothing has happened. Sometimes depression can come without any reason.

    Okay, done :) Tomorrow I'll put a .52 string on the low E too :awesome:

    That sounds good, at least you have something in common ;) And generally musers are good and nice people :) I'm sure it'll go great, have fun! :thumbsup:

    Yeah, I will. I'll probably spent the whole weekend with my guitar, feels like I haven't played it in ages :D

  8. Oh, we mostly visited some museums, a castle, a crisp factory and some other places too, and then we also went wall climbing and did some other random stuff :D

    Yep, although this wasn't an ordinary thing that happened. I had some kind of panic attack, hyperventilation and stuff, and later on they also diagnosed that I have serious depression :(

    Yeah, guess I really should...:rolleyes:

    :rolleyes::LOL:

    Love is in the air, eh? ;) Have fun :D

    Nah, I think I'll just take it easy for a while now. Don't want to risk anything. :)

  9. Hello again! :D Sorry I haven't replied in ages, I was at Åland Islands with my school class :)

    It was a great trip all the way, I even got to visit the hospital during the last night there :rolleyes:

    I want to play the guitar now, but my A string is still snapped and I'm too lazy to restring it :LOL:

    Wait, I got it! :eek: Maybe if I just remove the "96" and be just Mkekko? :awesome:

    So...how're you doing? :D

  10. :awesome:

    Haha, and I still couldn't sell it :LOL: (I wish I could, though...I'd like to have 650 euros :p)

    Yeah :awesome:

    Ah, shucks, my A string snapped...:( Oh, sorry :LOL: It's a video game, one of my long-time favourites (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uncharted_2:_Among_Thieves) :D And sorry, I meant to say Uncharted 2, not 3 :LOL:

    :LOL: Okay, maybe I'll just keep this old username...;)

    :pope:

  11. :eek: That's awesome! :awesome: I have to watch it sometime.

    Oh, wait, it's actually only worth 650 euros...:facepalm:

    I'm 95% okay now :yay:

    I've been playing guitar a lot (as always) :D And I've been playing Uncharted 3 on for the first time in 2 months :eek: It's much better than I remembered :awesome:

    Isurvivedthebarrier :LOL: Or maybe...READINGMUSE :pope::LOL:

    Damn, I'm really bad at this...:stunned:

  12. There is a fan DVD for Wembley too? :eek:

    It's easily worth 800 euros...:D

    :pope:

    I've been mostly playing guitar :D I know I shouldn't because I'm sick, but I just can't help myself :LOL: I'm actually feeling a bit better now :awesome:

    What've you been doing? :D

    :LOL: I really need to change my username sometime...I just never come up with any good usernames. :$ Got any ideas? :awesome:

  13. Wow, I went there and I gotta say, that Darkshines video looked amazing! :awesome: Can't wait for the whole DVD :dance:

    Oh, I'm just waiting for them to forget about it, and then I can sell it for lots of money :ninja:

    I WANT TO RULE THE WORLD!! :pope: And no, it doesn't count, because I have a keyboard too and it isn't anywhere near a real piano :phu::p

    And who would've known, it actually worked! :awesome:

  14. I never go there...:facepalm:

    I hope so too :)

    Because it isn't really mine...:$ It actually belongs to the family of my brother's girlfriend. They just gave it to me because they never play it themselves. I actually found out that it's a fairly expensive bass, but I can't just sell it. Who knows if they want it back someday?

    I want a new guitar, a new amp, and lots of new effects :awesome: and oh, I want a piano too :chuckle:

    It's a weird street :LOL: Each one of the shops sells it's own things. Like the one I bought the pedal from sold ONLY effect pedals. And then there was a shop that sold ONLY second-hand guitars, and so on...:rolleyes:

    :pope:

  15. :eek: What? I didn't know that! :awesome:

    Damn damn damn damn, still sick and were supposed to leave on monday :mad:

    I can't sell it :shifty:

    I don't really know...:erm: But I gotta say, my amp sounds awesome :D I'm officially a fan of Blackstar amps now. Might get the Blackstar Series 1 S1-200 some day :awesome:

    Denmark Street. It was somewhere fairly close to the Buckingham Palace.

    :ninja:

  16. Yeah, BBC really angered all Muse fans now...:chuckle: But it's really a shame, I was hoping that when I'd return home, I'd see all these amazing proshots of Darkshines, Space Dementia, Hyper Music (<- especially this, since I couldn't focus on the song because of all the moshing and shouting and stuff :(), Megalomania and Micro Cuts (<- especially this, too, because I never heard Matt's singing properly :()

    I'm still sick :mad: This is really frustrating now, our school class is going to Åland Islands for a week next monday, and I really hope I don't have to spend the whole week there in bed...:(

    I have a bass guitar too :awesome: But it's rusty, plays awfully, and it's way too big for me :indiff: So I kinda gave up on it :chuckle:

    I actually got so frustrated with my awful fuzz tones that I removed the FF from my signal chain :LOL: I don't really know what to do with it, imo even PiB sounds better using just my amp distortion (and an EQ pedal for the main riff) :rolleyes:

    Perhaps I should try using the FF with a little crunch. if I remember correctly, Matt uses the FF with a bit of crunch too.

    And oh, I finally got the EQ pedal I was looking for! :awesome: It's the MXR 6 Band EQ, the same one that Matt has :D Bought it from a music store in London. There actually was an entire street filled with only music stores there :eek:

    Great :awesome: At least one of us is Feeling Good (:chuckle:)

  17. My mind is still unable to accept the fact that I've actually been in Reading and seen the entire OoS live...:stunned: Damn...I really was there :dance: (yeah, I know, I'm acting quite childlishly...:$)

    Bad news:

    I've been sick for 3 days now. I got massive headache and my throat tries to kill me every now and then. This isn't fun :(

    Good news:

    I finally got the sound in my head from my guitar amp :awesome: Now I'm 95% happy with my guitar tone. :happy: The only downside is that I've still been unable to find the perfect fuzz tone from my Fuzz Factory. And all my effects suck, I really need to buy a better multi-effect...:facepalm:

    Random news: (huh? :erm:)

    So anyway...how are you doing? :D

  18. :erm: kappas, miten en ookaan huomannut aikaisemmin että oot suomalainen? :wtf::awesome:

    Anyway...Heei :awesome: (ei, en matki Aduuu-:ta :chuckle:)

  19. Well, it was kind of hard to enjoy some songs because the crowd was so rough, but I managed :D I almost fainted twice because of dehydration :stunned::LOL:

    It's a shame BBC didn't broadcast all songs...:(

    (You didn't listen to my clips, did you? :$ Please say you didn't...)

  20. Reading was awesome!!! :dance::awesome::awesome::dance::dance::\mm/:

    Although I was almost at the barrier the whole time, so I had a pretty rough time :LOL: But whatever, it was still awesome :happy:

    :unsure: The quality sucks, all the low end got lost during the recording, and my playing sucks, but anyway...:D

    http://soundcloud.com/paavokekkonen/sets/playing-guitar-with-bad-audio

  21. HOLY FUCKING GLITTERATI I'M GOING TO LONDON TOMORROW!! :eek::eek::eek::awesome::awesome:

    Isn't that the same with every band? :chuckle: The ones you hear on the radio are always the worst :LOL:

    I would settle for any Bellamy Signature Guitar :awesome:

    I made some quick guitar playing recordings today for my friends who can't hear me playing live :D

  22. I can imagine :awesome: Just three more days, and I'm going to London :cool:

    :rolleyes:

    Well, Muse has quite a lot of pop/rock-songs, so that's half pop :p And then of course there is GL, SMBH, NSC, IBTY and UD :D

    007 would be cool :cool: or Keytar :cool:

    I suppose Casinocaster would be quite awesome to have, but in the end, the other neck would just get in the way 90% of the time :rolleyes:

    Yeah, I think I'll just order one from Thomann. I'd really like to avoid that though, because I have bad experiences about their customer service. :(

    Oh, cool. You've seen the world quite a bit too, then. :D

  23. Hello there! Sorry for the late reply :D You must be in Ireland now?

    So what's stopping you from making that Blackout cover? :erm: Is she not responding or what?

    Well, some Muse songs could be considered pop :D But rap is terrible, indeed :noey:

    I've never had any problem with chords :p Although I have to admit that my barre chords don't always sound that good...:$

    I always tend to learn the bass notes too for every song I learn, not really sure why :LOL:

    I hope they make a third replica, but I believe Bomber and Casinocaster are out of the question :( Bomber is impossible because of the finish, and Casinocaster would be superduper expensive :chuckle:

    Damn, I went to all nearby music shops to see if any one of them had this,

    http://www.jimdunlop.com/product/m109-6-band-graphic-eq

    but I couldn't find one anywhere :mad: I guess I'll have to order one from Thomann or something :erm:

    Let's see, I've been to...Sweden, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Germany, France, Spain, England, Italy, Switzerland, Turkey, Austria and the US (California and Florida). I think that's all :cool:

  24. That would be cool :awesome: I've actually been looking for some people to play Muse with, but no one in my area really likes them :mad: They all just listen to Pop or Metal :rolleyes:

    I think I'm gonna die inside if I actually hear Dead Star live...:stunned::D

    A strat, eh? Not really ideal for playing Muse :chuckle: Yep, Mansons are great, and it shows in their prices too :D

    Oh, right. How long have you been playing guitar? I got my first guitar (The Music Man one) about year and a half ago, and the other guitar (The Fender one, with COIL TAP :awesome:) about a month ago.

    Yeah. But I heard they don't want to make any more MB-1s.

    Custom shops are hard to find, I know...Ruokangas is basically the only one in Finland :stunned:

    Do both versions? :awesome:

    I used to want a Kaoss Pad, but after some thinking I decided that I don't really need it that much. :) I don't know that much about single effect pedals. I love multi-effects, because I can store effect presets in them and then I can change multiple effects with just one switch :D Quite similar to the way Matt can change all his effects at once with a single press from his MIDI controller.

    I've been to lots of countries, but never Ireland. I'll have to go there some day :D

    England is the best :yesey:

    These are long messages, indeed :LOL:

  25. I noticed that you asked Farelial about that have we four ever met each other, and I just wanted to say that no, as a group we haven't met, but I've met both Farelial and -Aduuu once.

    Yeah, I get to miss school :p But keep in mind that we had to pay a lot to get the tickets. they were already sold out and we had to buy them through viagogo, and the tickets are ridiculously expensive there. :( But what wouldn't I do to see OoS in full? :awesome:

    Yeah, they're both okay-ish guitars...or at least the Fender one is. I'm not too keen on the other one. But I really love the Fender one. It basically has the shape of a Fender and the sound of a Gibson. And it also has a coil tap, so I have both humbucker tones and single coil tones in one guitar. Perfect. :happy:

    What's wrong with Fender? They make great guitars. :) It's just a shame most of them have only single coils. What Fender guitar do you have?

    Mansons make great guitars, but I find most of them ridiculously overpriced. :LOL: I might end up getting a custom guitar from Ruokangas, which is a custom guitar shop here in Finland.

    Yeah, I'd love to hear it! :awesome: I've been wanting to post covers too, but I don't have any audio recording gear. Well, except my phone, but it's not exactly a high quality recorder :D

    Silk Road...? :erm: Nope, doesn't ring any bells, sorry :LOL:

    I used to have a Digitech Hot Head, but I sold it after I realized that my amp distortion sounds 10000000x better :D Now I only have a fuzz factory and a VOX Tonelab ST, which I mostly use for delays and stuff. I'm planning to switch my Tonelab to a Digitech RP-1000 soon. How about you?

    Wow, that place looks amazing! :awesome:

    Okay, thanks for the links. I'll listen to them later, when I have more time. They do sound promising, I love Indie Rock. And heh, thanks :D

    Well, kinda...I don't really like Finland that much. I'd prefer living in England. :)

    Wow, what a long message...:stunned:
