A segment from our "practice" today. First time we played this song in a month so forgive it for being a little sloppy. We recorded it live on the Rode NT1A. So you think this sounds good enough to whack on as "demoable" for venues to hear? It's just for the sake of showing what we do.

How much? Also, on the Advice page on the BBC introducing page it says to give demos for free. You want as many people as possible to hear your music, and people are gonna listen if it's free and aren't gonna buy unknown bands really...

Ok, so heres a serious, deep, meaningful, personal post from me for once.

 

I wrote this song last night and recorded this demo this morning. Its not the type of song I usually right because theres no big riff or solo, just me and an acoustic and some words. Also probably the most personal song I've written too, so go easy.

 

If it gets approval from the rest of The Tenants then we'll record it this Friday to be released on our forthcoming EP which will be released on 26th April, so I hope to god they like it. Anyway here it is:

I like to think that my songwriting has improved slightly since Hole In My Pocket, but I'll leave that to you guys to decide.

Thanks Thats my own toan but it seems to work very well for Muse. A strat into a JCM2000 with a fuck load of compression and reverb with a phaser, delay and whammy on call. Its pretty swell

I've always wanted to get myself one of those fucking weird-ass soviet guitars, they play terribly but look amazing. In-built effects and shit too

 

I bought one for £50 off ebay a while ago, the wiring was so shoddy. Sold it to cheddatom for £30.
